Wow great channel. Love that you work with kits, so do I. If I don't like the thread that comes with them I buy DMC as close to the color I can find. There is 1 brand that I always replace the thread. Good luck with your channel.
You are 32 dear friend. I alwats work my full coverage and usually other things too in a diagonal pattern of pages. This gives the most variety andctherefore oleasure in stitching. Your goals are a great idea. Have fun.
I’ve been trying to get a UA-cam video up with me talking and I still haven’t done it. Forget about showing my face …lol I haven’t done that either yet. You are giving me motivation though and you’re doing awesome!!
Love your projects! I'm a total sucker for a kit as well! Pro-tip for counting stitches with Dimensions, you can email them and ask for a PDF (they will ask for proof of purchase). You can import into pattern keeper, you won't be able to search for symbols, BUT it will make highlighting/counting so much easier!
You still being in school makes me think you are younger but being married makes me think you are older. But what do I know? You are young and pretty!! 😃 I love Design Works kits. I stitched Bathing Beauties. My daughter has it hanging in her bathroom.
I remember also being really surprised by how high pitched my voice was in my first few videos, and now I think about it way too much when I’m talking to other people in real life. 🤷🏻♀️ Loved seeing Contessa again! I did bobbinate everything for mine and it took 4+ hours- when I had five skeins left my husband offered to help 😂 I like your storage method, if I ever do another HAED I might have to borrow the idea!
Wow! Contessa is going to be huge! I'm working on my biggest one at the moment, I want it hanging on my wall but it's going to be a long way off. Love the LongDog to, you have an interesting mix of projects.
I think you are 31. The checker board fabric is perfect for the Christmas chart. Actually I’m using that same fabric for a Santa that I’m finally starting today!!! I was kitting up & organizing floss while I watched your video 😁 Great episode 🙋♀️
I'm loving your Rascal Hour! I'm with you on not using glass in framed pieces, cross stitch is such a tactile craft and like being able to really see the fabric and floss. Your Templars Prophecy looks great!
I love Rascal Hour! 😂. I think you are 29. And I love your finished Mill Hill snow globe!! I would call the DMC you’re using on Templar Prophecy “Marine Blue”. It’s too deep to be teal IMO.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED Ben Franklin. They were one of the first big box craft stores. There are only about 160 stores left nationwide. I don’t noticed you lisp, not even after mentioning it. I adore your work, it is fun to see someone who enjoys kit projects. The Mickey and Minnie piece was sweet. It is awesome that you respect people’s personal information. HIPAA bleeds over into your life in ways that makes to respect people’s personal information outside of the hospital setting.
I agree about frames and no glass, though I haven't done it yet...but yes! I have heard of Ben Franklin, I think they had one in Maine we used to drive by on the way to our summer house 😂 I'll guess 31
Great video, love all the projects, those Jars are really cute and I'm waiting to see what you do with them. I think I have heard some other floss tubers say they get a sticky back felt from Joann's if that helps. Happy Stitching!
Yes!! So happy to see you again girl! Look at those finishes! And I’m so glad you worked on Contessa again 💖 you know I’m a sucker for the full coverage 🙈 and your LDS is looking amazing, you are totes going to finish it by the end of the year for sure! Omg you are so sweet! I’d argue to say you definitely have your process as well, it’s just a bit more scattered 🤣 and that’s ok! Do what makes you happy! And I’m also going to say you’re 27 since I’m guessing we are roughly the same age lol
I'm a sucker for full coverage too I just like switching projects around too much to see progress. 😆 I need to hunker down and set a semi-flexible rotation...maybe I need 2 WIPGO boards. 🤭
@@showntellstitcher lol I mean…. Corrin from Grace Notes enabled me into two boards for next year… I’m not gonna tell you it’s a bad idea… yet 🤣 I won’t know until I’m drowning next year 🤣🤣
Haha I feel your pain with the chip clips and holding up my projects! I’m forever forgetting anything to back my WIPs in my videos. I love your energy! Hmmm I would guess you are 28. I don’t think you sound like a child! Lol.
You did really great! It was really nice to see your small tutorial...working like a pro! ;D. Love the checker fabric. Beautiful stitching! My guess...26? Take care
Enjoyed watching your video and love your previous finishes they came out great 👍 and your ffo’s so cute thanks for sharing your tutorial. My guess at your age is 27 Have a wonderful week and happy stitching
My first guess on age is 26. For your beautiful ornament, get one of those pretty metallic sharpies to write the date on the back. In my opinion the project bag is turquoise and your stitching is definitely teal. The binder for all that floss is a great idea, but gosh it sure seems bulky. I usually take my cross stitch with me and stitch whenever I have a few moments. Maybe bobbinate just some of each color, or some of the colors on the page your working on. and pull from the bobbins then refill the bobbins as needed? Just a suggestion because bobbinating all of it at once would be soooo time consuming. I have that same Merry Christmas Deer pattern! We should do a stich-a-long!
I think we look about the same age, we both also got married last fall. I'm 28 and I feel like you are too! I also feel like anyone that's not in high school or like 50 is about my age 😂
My guess is 25. I always am surprised by my voice whenever I hear a recording of myself. I sound so different than I think I should sound. I'm from GA and I also always think I sound way more southern when I hear a recording of my voice. I'm always like "whoa, do I really have that much of a southern accent?!" ;-)
I am guessing your age to be between 25-35, but the reference to a Ben Franklin store makes me a tad nervous - so I will hedge upwards to 35 for your age. Do you remember Frank's Nursery and Crafts?. I like Meijer too, but spoil myself at Woodman's, WholeFoods, Trader Joe's and Mariano's whenever possible. Lovely job with the Mill Hill globe. I just finished "Watermelon" this morning! I do a couple of seasonal MH kits every year. I usually finish them with a felt backing - and use either E6000 or Tacky Glue. So far all my projects are holding up pretty well. Take care.
Hi! So nice to "meet" you. Michelle Bendy mentioned you so I have now watched all three. I had a feeling it was midwest. I spent approx 30 years in Oak Park & Forest Oark, IL so hi neighbor. 😁 Thanks for sharing your time, and your joy of stitching. It's refreshing and no, I don't hear a lisp at all. Age? 29?
I think you’re 28! I agree that your Long Dog is teal, and I know what you mean about the confusion. When people call turquoise (or as you say aquamarine.. are they the same?!) things teal I just assume they call everything blue/green teal :)
I don't think you sound like half your age, that is just you hearing yourself and that always sounds strange. I would guess you are 32, but I am not good at guessing peoples age 🙈 Happy Stitching 🧵💙
I would guess you to be 26; I have to say that it is disconcerting that you do not look at the camera, it makes your video less personable, just my thought. I love seeing all of the beautiful projects that you are stitching; so ambitious, but I love them. Happy stitching………….
I have seen that some people place a red dot next to the spot where they need to look. Hope that helps as I think it must’ve hard to look at the camera instead of where you see yourself.

Enjoyed this video very much! I like the Christmas jars and the tree skirt! Have a great stitching week!🙂🌻

Ahh thank you ☺ we spend so much time touching our stitching, it feels weird to lock it away behind glass.

You are so right. I am trying to be conscious of the info I blab out. 🙊 I didn't realize Ben Franklin was still around at all.
I agree about frames and no glass, though I haven't done it yet...but yes! I have heard of Ben Franklin, I think they had one in Maine we used to drive by on the way to our summer house 😂 I'll guess 31
I know the glass is to protect the hard work we put into our stitching...but whatever! I'm all about saving a penny as well.

Oo good idea. I think I just need to wander around Joann for a while and get inspired. 🤔💭
Not fair. You didn’t tell us your age!
Almost 22? Loved your video and am watching Hanna now.

I love your vibe!! I feel like you are between 25-28
Thank you! ☺
You did really great! It was really nice to see your small tutorial...working like a pro! ;D. Love the checker fabric. Beautiful stitching! My guess...26? Take care
Your channel is great! I live in Elgin! I'm also stitching Contessa! We need a stitching meet up sometime!
Oh my gosh I would absolutely love that. Are you on Instagram?
@@showntellstitcher I'm not. I have a decent amount done on Contessa though....she's drool worthy!
@@debbiescheitlin3641 oh I believe you!! I want to get to your level! I need some bizarre art on my walls!

You are too kind in calling my hot mess of glue and cardboard a tutorial! 😆 thank you Theresa!

@@showntellstitcher yes! I'm @amandamcorbet or my shop is @StarlightStitchingCo
Well, I’m binging your past videos… nice work btw!!! Love your X-stitch. I’m going to guess you’re 23 years old…
You’re 23 just a wild guess! I do know what Ben Franklins is I love them they are 30 minutes away from me!
Oh my gosh I didn't know it was still around!
I don’t like covering it with glass. I put up crochet doilies without the glass. Much better in my opinion. Very early 30’s? 🦋
Tip: add the name of the project to the notecard with threads. I have soooo many things of thread with no idea what project it goes to. Too many wips!
