If you add the fact that she lost most of her emotions and had to choose the prestige/safety of her family over the love of her life, you can clearly see why she's bitter now. And taunting annemies before a fight is a good way to annoy them into making mistakes that Camille can take advantage of.

It's been 3 years already, but you can check the official LoL website to check the world lore of Runeterra. The Serpent Isles is an archipelago to the east of Shurima and to the north-west of the Shadow Isles. It is more known through it's major port city, Bilgewater. Technically speaking, every Bilgewater champion is a part of the Serpent Isles, albeit they aren't from the Serpent Isles themselves since they are immigrants from Valoran or Shuriman. The few Serpent Isles champions that we do have is Illaoi and Fizz, with the former being a part of the native race in the Serpent Isles: Buhru.

Piltover is tiny and cute compared to Shuriman lore lmao(I'd place it around Freljord-levels, below Targon levels). There's Bilgewater too which is hilarious in a Pirates of the Carribean way yet even that is behind Shurima for me. This is ignoring Noxus too who is massive by itself, and the Juggernaut known as Ionia who is the fan favorite of so many it's not even funny cause weebs. You're missing out if you won't try. Hell if Rito can do what they did in Arcane with just Piltover-Zaun, can't even imagine how mindblowing it would be when Shurima gets it's turn.
