- The man seen on video getting his phone slapped out of his hand by a police officer has given his side of the story.
He told The Morning Brew host, Jason Williams, that it all started because of where he parked his car.
And this has been happening for years not only today
These ttps needs to be trained in dealing with the public. I was in a road block on proaching the road block the police man told me to park to the side of the road which i comply, he then proceeded to asked for my documents which I comply without questioning, he took my documents then proceeded to write me a ticket, then i questioned him on the reason for the ticket, he said he saw me blinking my lights to other drivers to the opposite direction that there was a road block, so that ticket cost one thousand dollars. How could i know it was a road bock and if so the vehicles in the opposite direction would be coming from the road block, i didn't know i was approaching a road block. The ticket had my first name spelt wrong and the court date was a Sunday and he had my license plate number mixed up. The next morning i went to the PCO and reported the matter, they apologized to me and told me I don't have a case which I already knew and they took my ticket paper.
He should have being fired at once for wast you time and not doing his work properly
So true brother so true i have a shop and one police officer came and by a bottle water from me and another police officer came and ask for a bottle water and walk out of my shop so i say nah i ran out my shop and said hello u did not pay me for the water the others police officer look at him an said the lady said u did no pay her and he smile at me and the other nice police man said to me sorry mam and he paid me for that wicked police officer
Some of those police officers really dose work lost their manners. Those offices need to run behind those bandits and criminals.
I remember park in a street in arima. And police rick the vehicle. I don't saw any no parking signs. It was next to a school. I had to pay cash to get back my vehicle. I didn't know Arima area that well.
It's how the government have to make money 💰😂

It has so much killing in Trinidad and the lazy police them bothering poor people and acting like they doing something good go try to solve a real crime.

Are you an arse or a marble. How the hell the victim could show his face if he recording. Have you ever in your life seen the cameraman on TV or movie or even in press photographer face while they are taking pictures or filming. You total jackarse.
Not PCA. Pca will start the investigation when the camera footage from the area comes out of the system, then they send a letter stating that the evidence is insufficient for further proceedings 😂.
If he wants the investigation to be done quickly, he needs to go to the PCD. Police complaint department. And also start collecting evidence on his own for the matter go the tribunal court.

The problem with the police not knowing how to deal with the public is not a new problem and the police don't like the public to question or stand up to them if they are practicing something that is unlawful and the minister of defense and the commissioner of police I am 100% sure they knows about this problem that have been existing for decades and that is why the superiors in charge should never be to quick to run in front to defend these criminal police without first hearing all the sides , eg , when the police killed the other police in Diego Martin and the superiors run out to say the young man they went for is the one who killed the police and it is only when the autopsy report came out that it was impossible for the young man to have killed the police from where they said he was , the actual criminals and the police both have the country in a state of fear you can trust , there are some police officers that believe that they are above the law and the public are beneath them when you are not one of the elites or white because you will never hear the police treating a white person here like that , we have a very big problem with crime and some of these police officers are not any better , strong punishment must be handed out to these officers and moving them around in not the answer

Is there a law against it? Considering the fact that the ttps doesn’t have body cams, I’d say it’s necessary to record them during these tense interactions.
