- Another week has gone by and our pup is all the smarter, with a few setbacks. Learning the stay command is proving difficult, though eating a blueberry was fun to watch. Sable also had her first bath. Stay tuned for more updates as we give our weekly round-ups!
This may be a stupid question, but I just picked up my NSDTR a couple weeks ago. He is 10 wks now. What type of harness does Sable have on? How is she doing 2 years later?
Hey , you should deserve 1M + subscribers

There will be one this week - sorry for the delay! It’s been a crazy few weeks. We are hoping to post by tomorrow!
I’ve gotten mine aswell, does she get overtired? I struggle a bit with that one
YES! But she doesn’t understand that she is overtired and just gets more bite-y and hyper!
🥰🥰😍😍
Absolutely gorgeous. I misread that to be "duck trolling retriever" :)
Duck tollers are beautiful and relatively easy to train, but they have a really short attention span and so training sessions should be kept short 😂
U guyz do rescue?
lol my dog is 12 and still does this with blueberries
I hope that Sable always does that too!!
She is so cute 😍! How did you get her to stop biting your hands/ fingers?
Thanks, Catherine! I wish I could tell you that there was something specific that we did to stop her from biting. This was an issue for us for a long time. We couldn't even pet her without her trying to bite! It was always playful, but it got old pretty quick. We always just would replace her trying to bite our hands with a toy. Here are some other things we tried: standing up and turning our back to her the instant she started biting, turning our back and leaving the room, a deep-sounding "No"....I will honestly say that none of these things were the perfect solution. Consistency is key. People always said that one day you'll wake up and it seems like she just stopped biting. I didn't believe this at all....but it happened. Patience and consistency with any/all of these techniques. Good luck! 🙂
@@ADuckTollerNamedSable thanks for the advice. My 11 week old is wild with the bites! Wondering if it’ll ever end, now I’m optimistic that it will.
@@iswearnotme You're welcome! It'll end eventually (though it won't seem like soon enough!). Good luck and enjoy the puppy stage - oh how I miss those little bites 😃
