So I shared this video my mom and she started crying….said omg this is me and my first boyfriend. He was gay but it was love for sure and everyone thought them perfect together. She was 16 and they loved each other until he died when he was 34. Seeing the two of you brings me so much joy. You’re just so special together and one day I want something like what you have. ❤

My husband fell in love with me after seeing my picture. He asked my friend if he and his friend could hang out with us the next night- something my friend sprang on me last minute. Not going to lie… I was kind of a brat to him because I just wanted to dance and hang out with my girlfriends - definitely not with this nervous guy who smiled too much and kept catching my eye. We kept running into each other at clubs/parties for the next 6 months and he helped me get rid of a super persistent guy by pretending to be my boyfriend. My friend gave him my number and promised I’d go out with him if he called which really pissed me off!!! I was just not interested in dating anyone at that time- but my friend thought we were perfect for each other. The first one-on-one changed everything- we just clicked. We got engaged 6 months later- married two years after that. It’s been 30 years and I feel so blessed to have the best husband and friend ever ❤ Oh- and of course my BFF was my maid-of-honor and our daughter’s godmother. So yeah- you can definitely fall in love at first sight- even from a picture. When you know you know 🥰 Love you two together and your podcast is my favorite🤩❤️

Aw! You two are the absolute cutest! I love watching your podcast and popping on TikTok once in awhile and seeing what shenanigans you’re both up to. I’m waaaay older than most of your demographic (I’m a 44 year old minivan driving stay at home mom of 2) but you two remind me of what I was like and what life was like in my 20s and gosh, that’s just a real gift. I've been watching brads hairdressing videos for a while now but sophia is new in my life and what a breathe of fresh air she's been!!! I'm riddled with all sorts of mental issues, anxiety, depression etc i dont trust anyone etc etc since watching these podcasts my mindset has changed completely! whereas im still working on being more confident, my trust level in my partner has gone from 10% to 100% my relationship has gotten increasingly better and im alot happier. My 11 year old daughter and I have been fans of Brad and his hair care/color products for a while. This was the sweetest thing to watch, two people in love, being real and confident enough not to care about the negative trolls out there. I wanna add my love at first sight story here! So it was more for my now husband, but it’s so so good.
We met in a dorm room, all of us were watching a movie. My now husband walked in with a friend going for a run. He cracked a joke about my maiden name, I made a snotty remark at him and rolled my eyes. He left the room with a friend and told him “she will be mine”. We’ve been married for 10 years now and have 3 beautiful children.
Everyone deserves a bestie relationship like Brad and Sophia have, honestly its amazing ❤

It would help me relate better if Brad could just directly address the disconnect from the video he did with his brother where he explained that he was gay and how he has come to realise he wasn’t. Also I think it would help a lot of people if Sophia could confirm they are for sure together and if they are to share what she thinks about being with a man who previously identified as gay and may now be bi. So many women struggle to wrap their heads around a man who has been with men. This is a really big opportunity to help people who have been raised religiously or judgementally and who have some programming blocks inherited from their culture, family, and society.
This is just what I thought, but bottom line is, I dont think they even know how to navigate it yet. I think they re not together but there is definetely something here. Especially from Brad, maybe Sofia does not even know if is true or how to take it

I love everything you’re saying and all of this would be true if it were real, but everything in me says this entire thing is just two friends creating a transparent publicity stunt. She gets noticed and gets modeling jobs, and he gets to promote his hair care line.

Honest review - I came here because I love Brad’s hair fail videos and was curious. I can’t say I FULLY relate b/c I am a 33yo crunchy mom of two toddler girls from Colorado but I can say that the diff perspectives make me think and I am ok with that. You two are charismatic and there is a relaxed feel/easy flow for the most part! The relationship dynamics thooo are really confusing! 😅 Hopefully it doesn’t box you in because you two do make compatible hosts. I feel like Brad has some really grounding thoughts that show how compassionate he is and raises awareness despite his lovely antics. I feel like Sophia articulates thoughts in a way so many young women cannot or are afraid to - she doesn’t hide behind her looks or overcompensate when saying something useful/smart. You two also have gotten a lot more comfortable compared to the first episode! Good luck to you two!

Me and my husband wasnt "love at first sight" but we do have a cool story! We were born on same army base 2 months apart, parents same age dads in military, probably played at the park together lol...when were were both 4 my family moved to alaska and his to arizona...then when we were around 9 we moved back to same town we were born in (which is not all that common for the army to send u back to home base), and our parents bought houses in same neighborhood. We remember meeting in 6th grade when he became friends with my brother and we dated for a bit in 8th/9th grade, i was even his first real kiss ♡ but then his dad got orders to move to VA :( so we broke up and lost touch. 4-5yrs later, his dad retired and they decided to move back to NC (even tho IN is home for them). I heard he was back and was trying to get in touch thru mutual friends, but the next weekend i just happened to see him walking in to walmart with a friend...so i ran inside to try & find him but when i did i realised i probably looked crazy and he might not even remember or want to see me lol and got super nervous so i just circled the aisle like 5 times til he noticed me and then acted surprised like i didnt know he was there 🤣🤣 we were together every day since, 20 years ago next year! And he let me think i had played off the walmart meet fiasco for several years lol....also i met my lifelong platonic soulmate bff sister at a psych hospital when we were 15 lol we were bad kids and our parents sent us there, which we lived 2hrs apart from each other and the place was several hrs from each of our hometowns so total randomness that we just happened to be there at same time! But those 3 days we connected super hard and we kept in touch (this was pre cell phone/social media btw), ended up having our kids real close in age and eventually she moved to my town :) still besties almost 25yrs later and now our kids are lifelong besties too!

There was a guy who was in love with me at first sight. I never thought we would ever be together but I really missed him when he wasn't at work. It was super impactful, even to the point where he made me get to work early just to see if he was on schedule. Never thought we would be together, just thought he was fun.
Now we've been married for a decade and have 3 kids, 4 dogs, and 4 other animals. 😂 Interesting what life does to you.

While I enjoy watching the evolution of your relationship, I'm also not one to hold my tongue. I'm 3 years out of a very emotionally, mentally, financially and sexually narcissistic abusive relationship.. We were together for over 10 years. We had custody of my stepson which made it even harder for me to leave. It's not that I'm not a strong woman! We got together during a tragic time in my life. I was my mom's caregiver for 2 years as she battled stage 4C ovarian cancer. We'd gone on an amazing Valentine's Day date. Three days later,my mom died in my arms. She was my best friend and an amazing woman who gave so much of herself to others. She had 3 biological daughters, but many people called her mom. We were a safe house. I was so vulnerable and I was non-functioning. Basically, I was ripe for the picking. It was not my fault that he was abusive. People do not know what goes on behind closed doors. Many women and men think it could never happen to them. I'm a huge supporter of domestic violence awareness. I believe it should be spoken about. Sorry for the long comment but it hit me the wrong way when talking about relationships. Nobody sets out to be abused.

I met my husband through a friend, it was a very brief 'hi, how are you' encounter but a few weeks later we were at the same birthday party and on the same table, anyway, long story short six weeks later we were engaged, married within nine months, and now about to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. He wasn't what anyone would have called 'my type' but it turns out, he was exactly my type and we fit together perfectly. I agree love at first sight is a weird phenomenon- I fall for a personality not appearance…. Looks don’t last forever and having someone you connect with can laugh with, can emotionally support you matters more to me than what someone looks like. Also the one person I didn’t immediately fall for turned out to be ‘the one’…. I just can’t imagine how you can know enough to love someone at first sight - I think what you are talking about is Lust at first sight which possibly becomes love when you get to know them.

My brother did long distance relationship with his fiance, they were in opposite ends of the world of eachother, and my brother waited to move to be with his with fiance for so many years, he's finally moving to be with his partner at the end of this month. My brother is leaving his family behind and I'll miss him so much! But at the same time we are happy for my brother to be with his fiance finally and they can start their life!!
