The difference between a soccer ball that costs $28 and another that costs $8 is shown in detail in this video
One is a thermally bonded soccer ball, which consists of a cloth backing that does not easily stain water and is ideal for tournament use.
The second is a sewn soccer ball, which is made by hand with a machine that stitches the outer skin of the soccer ball together. The sewn soccer ball is more flexible than the thermally bonded soccer ball and is very suitable for training.
