This lesson is about a technique I came up with about six or seven years ago, combining Tom Morello's use of the toggle switch with The Edge's use of delay. Eddie Van Halen also uses a similar technique on "Cathedrals", but he uses the volume knob instead of the toggle switch.
I think it's pretty cool.
That sounds like a violin piece. Really cool!
1:00 a 'phantom of the opera' on the glass of the door LOL
Nice job! Great info!
very cool, there is a part that touches tom morello where street have no name, the u2, who uses delay must always remember the edge, I love these two, I would one day see them playing together, the edge and tom morello, would be cool.
well done, keith! thanks!!!
Good video and lesson on how to do those tricks. Very clear in your explanations.
Thanks man, finally a video explaining this technique
CAN I PLEASE HAVE THE TABS FOR THIS??
this is just fantastic mr.sir !!!
can you say the name of this song??
if i didn't adjust the pickups, would i still be able to do that on/off thing with the toggle switch?
no. you have to mute one of the pickups to do that.
how the name of the song? 5.50
Please man can you share your equipment for this?
Honestly, nothing special. This was in my teaching studio, so I just had a little Roland microcube with the gained turned all the way up, and boss delay pedal.
What Tom morello song is that at the end?
It's been a while since I've watched this, but I don't think there's anything actually by RATM or Tom Morello. What's the time stamp?
you sure you didnt listen to your time has come first, by the way you should try adding a phaser before the delay
I admit your good but you no morello
