Antalya is the fifth-most populous city in Turkey as well as the capital of Antalya Province. Located on Anatolia's southwest coast bordered by the Taurus Mountains, Antalya is the largest Turkish city on the Mediterranean coast outside the Aegean region with over one million people in its metropolitan area.
The city was founded as "Attaleia", named after its founder Attalos II, king of Pergamon. This name, still in use in Greek, was later evolved in Turkish as Adalia and then Antalya.
Antalya is Turkey's biggest international sea resort, located on the Turkish Riviera. Large-scale development and governmental funding has promoted tourism. A record 13.6 million tourists passed through the city in 2019.

I am planning to go this summer with my girlfriend to sea. We want nice beaches and town that has a lot of places to walk in the city when the sun goes down... do you think this is it? Or do you have any sugestion for something simular in Turkey with better offer? :)

Antalya is a very beautiful city, the sea is warm, the food is delicious. You can always rent a car and drive to neighbouring cities for a new experience :)
