Great video for vinyl top removal on these old B bodies. I’m getting ready to do this on one of my box Chevy’s and this video is very helpful for removing the drip trim and panels.
John thank you so much for taking the time to leave that comment man! It takes so much time and energy to make and edit these videos and a comment like that fuels me to continue to do so
@@CHASINGPROFITS not a problem. I should have some videos coming out soon myself and I know the struggle. There is so little info out there on these cars compared to other models I’m thankful for anyone that takes the time to document how to repair them. That’s my biggest reason for filming my own work. Well, that and to eventually show off my custom interior work on both of my box Chevy’s.
I was scared to see what’s under mine , 86 caprice classic yellow tan . Came from Kentucky I’m in south Florida , didn’t need a glue gun it’s so humid and hot all the time here . Came off , mostly dirt some adhesive in one or two stubborn spots . Minor rust in some of those same stubborn spots mostly paint and surface . Great video , thank you so much .
I really enjoyed watching this video over the 2k22 holidays . I've done more than 50 tops and I' still get anxious when I'm doing them. 👍. Much respect bro! 🙏
