Why couldn't you show the actual way you punched the extra hole. It would have been so helpful. I know you explained how to do it with a nail but alot of us learn better by the actual doing even if we don't have the same tools as you. My opinion only

Or you can take it to a boot repair place and they will put grommets in it for a nominal fee ❤️
