I love this hymn which I've not heard before. But when I was a child I remember wondering about the name of the local gospel minister's house - Beulah Villa. Now I know. I think he was looking forward to his heavenly home, rather than the temporary attractions of this world. Thank you so much for posting this hymn.
Some listeners may be wondering what this poetic song is about. It describes heaven and the joys of heaven prepared for all who receive Jesus as their Saviour. But the poet is saying that the essence of heaven is in his heart right now through believing in Jesus the Saviour. So heaven on earth and heaven above are intertwined in the hymn.
we have sung this for many years It is always meaningful. I believe the song describes a life sold out to God, so the preciousness of Heaven is as if one were nearly HOME.
Yes in the land of Buela we are all blooming flowers which the son of God'light fall on us and shine like him, to be called his daughters and sons. We are blessed to be his children.Thank you Jesus for your unconditional love.
My heart is overflowing with joy and happiness! Watching from Virginia! It’s such a joy to see others who love and serve the Lord in other countries. Keep strong in the Lord!

Isaiah 62:4 [4]Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

So sorry for your loss. (1Th 4:13-14) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Oh how I want to dwell on that mountain. I am longing to see my Lord.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
