I thought I loved Samantha Fish...but now I ADORE her !!!
First time I've heard this by her today...AWESOME !!!
I think that I have only watched this three times this week (so far). Must have watched this performance about 25 - 30 times since discovering it about 2 weeks ago. Textbook blues guitar playing - absolutely brilliant - and a heartfelt vocal.
That happens once you catch on to her.
@@edmondmcdowell9690 It also helps if you are a guitar player. Cannot say I like the direction she has take since about 2018 or so.
@@drutgat2 I truly wish I could have made the Callahan gigs and others from those days including the great " Girls with Guitars" spots. Thank God for the Utube uploads.

The best "guitar face" since Robin Trower, and an amazing guitar player as well. Can't wait to see her at Knuckleheads in KC in May.
Her touch, her tone, her overall performance has grown so much. I can only imagine how good will be.
I agree with you completely about her touch and tone having grown so much. But I think that she has lost a bit of spontaneity in her performances overall, settling into a kind of more 'professional' presentation. I watched an interview in which she talked about having realized the importance of image, and I felt sad about that.
And unfortunately, for me at least, she peaked around the time of this performance. But what a performance. I am truly grateful to BluesBroad for capturing this, and I watch this a few times a week, but I wish the audio was good enough for a live album. (thanks, also, to BluesBroad, for making the way Sam plays this so visible - it is helpful for us guitar players).
