Man the nostalgia here is amazing. I was in eighth grade when GTA 3 came out. I remember going over to a friend's house to play it and being amazed at the dark, rainy city. I bought it on PS4 like a year ago when they released the bundle. I can't wait to play it again with updated looks and controls.

GTA 3 was amazing in 2001 because there wasn't anything even close to it. But it aged poorly compared to Vice City or San Andreas, wich both aged quite well IMO.

as someone that still mods these games today, there are no mods coming close to doing this. everything is way more crisp than anything you can do to the originals, even then the games are locked to a low frame rate. literally unplayable at 60fps. and cutscenes are unchangeable since they are all prerendered.
@@MrInuhanyou123 you can get mods to do just about what ever you want, to an extent. those old renderware engines can only do so much. mods for cover mechanics, news weapons or new cars. new maps or upscaled textures, pc lets you do what ever kind of mod you want.
They already remastered the Jak and Dexter trilogy in 1080p and they controlled worst then the PS2 games. They were remastered on PS3 and then again on ps4

Rockstar need to actually remaster the trilogy. Was hoping for something more than a half-baked mobile port. They cut ties with Grove Street finally so they should allocate a team to make the DEFINITIVE EDITION we all want. It wouldn't take much if they just work on it during the GTA 6 development with that separate team only dedicated to GTA 3 VC SA. They could then release that to people to keep em happy until 6 comes out, or if it takes longer than 6 could release after

The PS2 San Andreas used the X and Triangle buttons to control the car. These new versions use the triggers instead.

They cut ties with Grove Street finally so they should allocate a team to make the DEFINITIVE EDITION we all want. It wouldn't take much if they just work on it during the GTA 6 development with that separate team only dedicated to GTA 3 VC SA. They could then release that to people to keep em happy until 6 comes out, or if it takes longer than 6 could release after

This isnt exactly remastered they just smoothed everything out
@@raulsolis9563 Plus new controls, way of gameplay (similar but not the SAME as GTA 5), possibly RT (bcoz DLSS is included) and interactive map.

The Graphics are def much better here i also liked ter fact that they kept the cartoonish appearance of the characters but added realistic traits to them
Why does this game look like TF2 animations
Please tell me the gameplay got a refinement, too. Bought these games on PS4 a while back, and the controls did not age well.
