Future John eventually ends up getting into a relationship with Allison, despite knowing Cameron will eventually kill her and take her memories. John decides to-hell with the timeline! He will not allow Skynet to kill Allison. Despite his efforts and perhaps betrayal by someone close to him who thinks the timeline should be continued, Allison is captured and killed by Cameron. John is devastated. He realizes the only thing to do is follow the timeline and sets a trap for Cameron who is coming to kill him. John traps and reprograms Cameron, but he cannot bring himself to delete Allison's consciousness from her data base. John struggles with guilt that he failed to protect Allison (and Riley) and cannot kill what remains of her consciusness. He tells no one. John works with the reprogrammed Cameron, maybe she is his protector from other machines. Secretly John also begins a relationship with Cameron. The circle: First John is missing Cameron and falls for Allison, now John missing Allison and Cameron falls for Cameron again. Perhaps future John is killed and that's why she leaves to protect John in the past. The new movie coming out: that's all I'll say. Future Cameron time travels to the past. She tries to hide her feelings for John and only eludes to her evolution and relationship that they will have in the future. She too misses future John and falls for past John. Past John has feelings for Cameron too but doesn't act on them because of the belief that she is just a machine.

The protagonist ends up with the woman he loves, I can't say it's not a happy ending. Nothing is supposed to end happily in this grim universe. The trend of the story is that it is the fight of a man to change the future and realizing that he cannot; that he cannot change the horrible fates of literally everyone he knows. Eveything is ultimately arranged by Weaver, who is described as cold and indifferent (the simple fact that John times jump to the precise spot and at the right time to meet Kyle, Derek and Allison ! The fact that she is there precisely at the right moment to save him three times etc.). Have you considered that this story, these events might be the best possible timeline, the one who is the least horrific for John and the people he knows. Maybe Weaver time travelled back and forth a billion time, to achieve ... this, an end where John defeats Skynet and ends up with Cameron ? Just think of the number of events that need to happen for this end to be possible, maybe she travelled this much just to achieve an end where John does not only defeat Skynet, but where he simply ends up with Cameron ? Maybe it was impossible for the human race to survive without Allison death ? It is obvious that without Cameron, John would be dead and that he would not have defeated Skynet. It is also obvious that in the same way that the terminator in T2 is the perfect father for John; that in an insane world Cameron is the perfect woman for John. She is the only one that can measure up... and that Allison cannot compete, not because she is not good enough, but simply because she is ... human and she can't love ... and protect John. Maybe if Riley didn't time travel, John Would not have trusted Cameron this much and he would not have time travelled to save her (which would result in his death) or it would simply have made sure that Riley would not have been a real person for a while (therefore the timeline where she didn't time travel would be worst). Is the true horror of the story the fact that he is stuck in this timeline, that his life, his fate is determined by Weaver (predetermined) ... or is it even the best possible life for him, even if he can't change it ? That would change the perspective on Weaver and her apparent indifference. It would be fitting to the character. That her care for John is not expressed on the basis of what she could have done to improve the fate of John on the basis of a single event (like preventing Alison second death, which she could have done easily), but on a global level, by creating the best possible end for him, the one that would be the least devastating, even of she robs him of his ability to change his fate. Maybe she made sure that this timeline is the best possible, tried any other one and that is the reason why she compels him to stick to it. Then, is the end so dreadful ? Maybe even Weaver can't change everything but can only make sure that key events do happen and that those events would result in the victory of John over Skynet. Perhaps Allison death, the loss of a single life is the minimal price, the minimal sacrifice to pay to save the world and any other possibility would be even worse and imply more than one death ? Perhaps John is so central in the survival of mankind that even changing anything in his life or this timeline would result in the death of all humans. Therefore, he can't change anything for this reason ? Let's take the end and Allison's situation, if she didn't die, then would John have travelled to join Cameron ? What about John, would he truly have been happy with Allison ? What about Allison, is being stuck with a man that would never truly love her, is it an happy end for her ? When she dies the second time, she gets what she would never have received otherwise, the proof that John truly loves her. What about Cameron ? Imagine her waiting and John never joins her ? Maybe Allison death is the best for the three of them ? Think of everything that must come together for this timeline to be possible ? We may not have gotten a season 3, but between your videos and River2027's "Born to Fight" we have a truly beautiful extension to the John and Cameron story!!

Yes, agree with you, got the same impressions, frankly I have been waiting that it happen. He loved her for sure, it's clear anyway, just didn't want to admit it. And she had feelings for him, not emitted but really felt, she learned to feel , was listening to music, read books , she got emotions. How she said as they rode in the car , " I wouldn't be worth much if I couldn't feel " Summer Glau played perfect, she showed emotions just brilliant This cyborg girl just perfect in her performance. Wouldn't be surprised that someday machines will be capable of feelings and people will permanently lose that ability , just sense of fear and hate will left , hunger and lust as well of course )

I had read somewhere from a insider that future Connor had a baby with Cameron.He developed such a technology for them.After so many years we never know if that script storyline was made on screen on next season
At this point i think that TSCC season 3 is the only thing that can make me interested in the Terminator franchise again.But i have a feeling they would keep releasing trash movies instead smh.
@@valentinivanov7825 I'm still hoping season 3 will happen as this show was the true follow up to Terminator 2 judgement day. Summer Glau should be in a Terminator movie as Cameron. Summer Glau was easily the best in the show and her fight scenes were a total joy to watch. First terminator and second were so good and this show is way better the the newer movies. I'd love to see Cameron fight the bad terminator in 3rd movie that would be awesome to see. The show had such great episodes and great bits from the movies! Season 3 would help bring back to movies back to its glory days.
Epic. I still continue to hope that this series will be resumed or confirmed in some film where alternative realities are seen. On the other hand, if even The Matrix has been resumed after all these years I don't see why they shouldn't do the same thing with this series.

A third season was planned, and there’s even a leaked plot for it online, but they ended the series because of low ratings. But how could it have low ratings when it has so many fans? I think there’s another reason. It would’ve been awesome if they’d made a movie because a third season wouldn’t have been likely to be given the green light, meanwhile a movie is easier to produce. In this case, everyone would’ve been happy because the story should be finished.

The director had mentioned a third and fourth season (I think he said he had already planned 82 episodes or something) obviously something else must have happened that stopped them, also because there had to be very big plans for this show. However, the fact that Terminator Dark Fate will not have any sequels is already good news(that film was worse than Genysis), I hope that the failure of the films pushes them to resume this story here (also because then the finale of the second season is completely open, in fact I think that the cancellation of the series was really sudden, also because, otherwise, the director, if he had known about the cancellation in advance, I think he would have tried to change the ending, trying to conclude by shooting maybe a few more episodes, which instead was not done and therefore makes me think that the idea of blocking the whole series came suddenly and without any warning)

So basically, not only did they plan seasons 3 and 4, but also seasons 5 and 6 were planned, judging by the number of episodes. It would’ve been so cool if a director’s cut had been released… But unfortunately, we never saw it happen… Yes, obviously, the series was prolongated, but then they changed their mind because, allegedly, the ratings were too low. A TV show called Nikita had the same situation-they wanted to end it during season 3 without any chance to have a sequel, but the creators of the show defended their right to film season 4. Before the threat of being halted, there were 22 episodes planned, but because the budget had been cut and the series was about to end, they released six episodes and finished the story. Even though the fans didn’t get to see the 22 episodes that had been planned, at least they could see the story had an end. So I think the creators of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles should have also defended their show. As for Terminator: Dark Fate-I didn’t like it either, and thank goodness they’re not going to continue it. So maybe because of that, our show will be revived since there’s a cliffhanger.

+林毅 I love these TV series too. I'm gonna try to answer all of your questions. I don't know why Cameron gave her chip to John Henry. Apparently, we'll never know that because there will be no season 3 :( The filmmakers have decided not to make any sequels because the TV series didn't pay off. Though the plot of season 3 was fascinating! The action would take place in the future to where John went in the finale of season 2. He, Allison and an grown-up Savannah (Weaver's daughter) would make a love triangle - Thomas Dekker was talking about it in one of his interviews. I personally think that John did feel something for Cameron, which can be observed during the whole TV series. But he knew that she was just a machine, so he couldn't love her as if she were a girl. As for "Jameron". Yes, both then and now fans make a lot of videos dedicated to John and Cameron. Of course, they couldn't be a couple physically, but there was something between them - and it was a nice thing to watch. This is an unusual story. And I personally would like to see what would happen next, but unfortunately, our opinion is only our opinion. :( I hope that I made it all clear :)

I think she loved him too, but she still is a machine. It's hard to explain, but their chemistry is fire! Yes, they never kissed or touched romantically. Season 3 was supposed to be made - however, due to a lack of budget, it was never made. Cameron wasn't supposed to appear in season 3, only Allison (The girl whose appearance Cameron sorta employed). I watched an interview with Thomas Dekker, and he said that John and Allison would have a relationship. Plus, there will be Savannah, Weaver's daughter, so there would be some sort of a love triangle. Actually, it would be pretty interesting :) Especially when there's a fight for the future! We'll never know :(

I had read somewhere from a insider that future Connor had a baby with Cameron.He developed such a technology for them.After so many years we never know if that script storyline was made on screen on next season

@@valentinivanov7825 I'm still hoping season 3 will happen as this show was the true follow up to Terminator 2 judgement day. Summer Glau should be in a Terminator movie as Cameron. Summer Glau was easily the best in the show and her fight scenes were a total joy to watch.
First terminator and second were so good and this show is way better the the newer movies. I'd love to see Cameron fight the bad terminator in 3rd movie that would be awesome to see.
The show had such great episodes and great bits from the movies! Season 3 would help bring back to movies back to its glory days.

A third season was planned, and there’s even a leaked plot for it online, but they ended the series because of low ratings. But how could it have low ratings when it has so many fans? I think there’s another reason.
It would’ve been awesome if they’d made a movie because a third season wouldn’t have been likely to be given the green light, meanwhile a movie is easier to produce. In this case, everyone would’ve been happy because the story should be finished.

The director had mentioned a third and fourth season (I think he said he had already planned 82 episodes or something) obviously something else must have happened that stopped them, also because there had to be very big plans for this show.
However, the fact that Terminator Dark Fate will not have any sequels is already good news(that film was worse than Genysis), I hope that the failure of the films pushes them to resume this story here (also because then the finale of the second season is completely open, in fact I think that the cancellation of the series was really sudden, also because, otherwise, the director, if he had known about the cancellation in advance, I think he would have tried to change the ending, trying to conclude by shooting maybe a few more episodes, which instead was not done and therefore makes me think that the idea of blocking the whole series came suddenly and without any warning)

Yes, obviously, the series was prolongated, but then they changed their mind because, allegedly, the ratings were too low. A TV show called Nikita had the same situation-they wanted to end it during season 3 without any chance to have a sequel, but the creators of the show defended their right to film season 4. Before the threat of being halted, there were 22 episodes planned, but because the budget had been cut and the series was about to end, they released six episodes and finished the story. Even though the fans didn’t get to see the 22 episodes that had been planned, at least they could see the story had an end. So I think the creators of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles should have also defended their show.
As for Terminator: Dark Fate-I didn’t like it either, and thank goodness they’re not going to continue it. So maybe because of that, our show will be revived since there’s a cliffhanger.

I don't know why Cameron gave her chip to John Henry. Apparently, we'll never know that because there will be no season 3 :( The filmmakers have decided not to make any sequels because the TV series didn't pay off. Though the plot of season 3 was fascinating! The action would take place in the future to where John went in the finale of season 2. He, Allison and an grown-up Savannah (Weaver's daughter) would make a love triangle - Thomas Dekker was talking about it in one of his interviews.
I personally think that John did feel something for Cameron, which can be observed during the whole TV series. But he knew that she was just a machine, so he couldn't love her as if she were a girl.
As for "Jameron". Yes, both then and now fans make a lot of videos dedicated to John and Cameron. Of course, they couldn't be a couple physically, but there was something between them - and it was a nice thing to watch. This is an unusual story. And I personally would like to see what would happen next, but unfortunately, our opinion is only our opinion. :(
