If God created himself - FROM- something, then that would mean that SOMETHING existed before God such that God could create Himself FROM it. That would mean that (1) God was not first - thus he can't be God and (2) It would mean that God has a beginning - thus he would have an ending at some point as well. That would mean he can't be God since by definition a God cannot die. So the clear answer is no. God has no beginning and no ending. He is - has always been - and will always be. Period!

I'm sorry it took me this long to watch this. This was such an amazing discussion. The Quran and Holy Scriptures are closely related and touches on the many of the same things. The fact that Jesus and the prophets are in the Quran speaks volumes. My question is this...Abraham had Ishmael, his first born son with Hagar the Egyptian made for Sarah. God said that Ishmael will inherit a nation for he is the son of Abraham. What nation was this? I tried researching this, but no concrete information resonated with me that I'd deem credible. Anyone knows? My first thought was maybe that nation was the nation of Islam, but again I need facts.
