you know you can make a coins option and a ACs option like make a currency like I type in "I want to make my necrotic sword into 2 million coins or 20.000 ACs and such.
But if trading is implemented I want an option on my account that I can turn off trading completely I don't wanna be annoyed and scammed with glorious spam
I always liked the idea of trading. But you made some interesting points that changed my mind. At first I liked the idea of trading because more people would like to trade something and produce more interaction between players. Or it could just turn into players spamming "please trade". Then the idea that a single player can just make several accounts and farm for items then proceed to trade them. Then again, trading in AQW has been floating around for some time and it would be quite interesting to see what measure they would take.
People all over the community got overly excited about Trading and turned a blind eye to it's serious downfalls and flaws, my point in this video was to share the cons and pros of being able to Trade and how it'll change an almost 10 year old game, for better or for worse. Glad you got a new mindset from the video! :)
I don’t understand why are people saying that “trading will destroy the purpose of farming”,I’ll say no it won’t,because you can still farm for the item and trade it and nobody will get the item without farming for it,so it still makes sense,you must decide what to do,work hard and farm for the item and still show people that you have the item and they don’t,so that’s it,Trading system won’t ruin the purpose of farming until you become lazy and don’t farm for the item,I think that it will make people work more hard and start farming because you will be the one who will get the item first and the one who will trade it for something really special and expensive in-game. Oh wow. I was mentioned thanks Ray (nekrosx). Like being. All farm able items SHOULD be restricted from trading as it would destroy the purpose of farming altogether. Also heromart items should be restricted as it'd destroy the purpose of buying the merchandise (ex: ssot and immortal chrono). Only items from a shop rare or not could be tradeable
If you're going to trade you can't trade someone your item for a price. But if you were to let's say add an auction you can sell your items for a set price within reason.
In my opinion, AC items are not allowed to trade, even it was rare.AC should not be in the trading system so people could sell rare items for like... I dunno 10k-20k ac or even more. The only currency involve in trading should be only gold,non mem items and mem items. The items must not be rare-ac tagged or any ac tagged items. That way people will not abuse the economy of the game. For example, some mem items from old member accounts can be traded for other items or gold. That way will increase the usefulness of gold and AC is still remain balanced. Boss drops, quest drops,etc, can be trade if not ac tagged. And double confirm for before trade and after trade.Before trade can check who's request are you trading with and after trade allows to see the items, amount, gold before actually trade it.

Probably not because mostly the community only want to abuse the system. So they can make a fortune in the game without invest much irl money. In addition, the ac tagged items must be restricted mostly because of nulgath quest.
lol so people buy an item for acs and you don't want them to trade it for more than they bought it for?? AE will make soooo much money off trading ac items, there's no way that won't happen. But even if no ac items were tradeable, people would still make you pay acs for rares. like honestly, a 5 year old rare won't go for GOLD. besides, gold is basically useless anyway, especially if the gold cap is only 4mil.
My opinion is mostly on the balancing side. If they want to go greedy on us, they will allow AC trades as people most likely sell for high prices depends on the item. Because of that, people will buy ACs more than the past of aqw. The idea of trading ACs/Rare items may sound good at first, however the goodness of these ideas will eventually fall as rich people will raise and the poor will fked off with jealousy towards the rich. Basically mostly every 'hero' in aqw will become merchants instead of treasure what items they had. Buy low, Sell high, don't like the prices? Go cry somewhere else. Long term wise, the game will fall unless they make like gambling for items like csgo to increase rarity of items and value. Further ahead of times, Gambling sites will appear. :/
I remember when a trading option was introduced into roblox, they had a system where only certain items are allowed to be traded. It also created a huge community of traders who spent a lot of their time trading on the game. In some ways this could be pretty cool.
Lmaooo that 10k ac comment was mine. Honestly it’s not really a big deal because for one thing I have too many acs that there’s literally nothing at the moment I want or that’s already out that I want. 2. Some of us don’t have the time and day to farm such items so why not make a profit from it? Win/Win to both parties and again I’m only saying this because I have too many acs with nothing to buy and B currently enlisted in the army so I don’t have a whole lot of time to spare. And I feel like a lot of people haven’t played PS that had a trading system. It’s definitely a game changer, but it can be improved upon. You folks say that the game is dying and in decline then why not take a huge risk/ chance on the trading aspect. I’m not against it at all, but I will say that it will need some improvement and needs to be well thought out. And yes I agree 10k acs would be absurd but I was just stating that I’d pay for the class as if it was SSOT in the sense that the class itself costs 6k acs. But these are my 2 cents
The game dying is a statement that people in the community embraced in their minds, unfortunately that is not true. AQW is going to see some amazing changes in 2018, the game might even be put back on the 'map' if you will. Good luck in the Army! ＼(＾▽＾)／

I would advocate for a totally free market in trading. It is up to the seller to decide what the item that *they* are selling is worth to *them*. If someone wants to trade a Void of Nulgath armour from 2010 for a bag of dirt, they should be able to do that. I agree that there should be a level requirement so more experienced players aren't scamming noobs who accidentally got some 1% drop. If AE implements trading and restricts what items can be traded and what can't, it will only increase the superiority that the players who have had membership since 2008 already have over literally everyone else. This also opens the door for people to pay newer players in rares for doing grindy tasks that they can't be bothered with. Trading would also make item farming much more streamlined. I personally have had three unidentified 13s sitting in my bank for months, and I know there are people who would trade me for those in an instant if it meant they didnt have to spend countless hours farming larvae quests.
I agree with tagged items (tho i wish to be a VHL re-seller so i can make acs,buy rares then re sell them repeat XD) I agree that this is a gamble and it will completely change the game and how we think of farming I somewhat agree with a trade like item worth 2k will be traded for the same price I wishfully dont want a tagged items I wishfully want that you can make your own prices for what you sell. I want them to add a feature that blocks un-verified-accounts (alts with no email confirmed) this will reduce people using alt for free acs And IF they had trading, can we have a rating? And comments profile for each person selling items From 1-10 to see if they have bad history or a good one I do wonder if a free ac tagged item can become a Ac-paid item by trading Also, why not, a verified system to let people know if an people trading has been verified by the mods/alots of people or not This makes people more trusting to the verified and more suspicious to the other (That can be abused but i dont see that happening or as a bragging rights for being verified XD) Maybe also add a "how many items traded" Why not have a 1 year limit before a new account is allowed trading? I would rather they bring back the wheel of doom than introducing trading. Depending on the trading system put in place, ppl could potentially go to a third party site and buy rares, NSoD, BLoD, VHL, etc. for the right price. This would absolutely break the game, cuz unlike other games where you can buy third party cosmetics, the items you can purchase can potentially give you an unfair and unearned edge. Not to mention, it could introduce the very real possibility of scammers and hackers either ripping you off or logging into your account and extracting desired items to their own account.
Trading is good in my opinion, many players would need it as example: they have a main and hey want to give either a class or an armour to the second account. But ae would have to have an anti-scammable way to protect us.

obviously if trading was implemented you wouldnt be able to trade blod or sdka because of the badge attached to it and the person selling said blod or sdka can get it back for free just to sell it again but i think it would be a good idea for the implementation of trading in aqw for stuff that is farmable and rares that you can not just obtain right back from a badge shop, and always know your items worth like if an item is easy to obtain say from a boss drop you shouldnt pay 2k acs for said drop the two people that are involved in a trade can cancel the trade at anytime if the traded items are not of equal value if you decide to give somebody 10k acs for a easy boss drop thats on you dude
It would be funny seeing a lvl 1 2019 accaunt with beta berserker.I mean you should also be able only to trade items that have been released after you created accaunt and not before.
Tbh as much as i like new features in games, i still agree with renegade. Trading will either be game changing (for better or worse) or it will be so useless that it will be forgotten after a few weeks of its implementation.
I'm 50/50 on trading because of people can scamming to each other, if you're trading then you need to have some certain certification to be able to trade like repetition, boss drop, difficulties, etc...
Hey Ray. You made some valid points. But you forgot one! How about the old Milt rares? people just farm for them if they have the orbs and then later sell the items from it. It DESTROYS rarity entirely. There would be duplicate items flowing through the game. Some people don't play this game to farm, some people play show off their rares like myself. I've been collecting since 08 and it seriously worries me that the game will be ultimately ruined.
I agree with trading farmable items, but only farmable items that are rare, that way you can't ree farm them to trade again and what about implement a feature that allow you to put a password on your account to block the trading system in our accounts, to make it more secure ?

then they should make a trade BUT only for items that you get as a member and equip as a non member or AC items that accualy cost no boss drops that are just AC items and dont cost AC
well if trading isn't gonna happen at least, have a transfer system beacuse i have 2 accounts and i want to merge like into 1 acc only. they can ask as much information as they want for it to be legit though.and let them set some rules like only max level characters are allowed to use this etc.... etcc...

You should be able to trade anything no limits but if someone is trying to scam you e.g you are giving them a vhl and they are giving you a slime stick it could say VERY BAD DEAL on the side
Personaly I think trading in aqw could be a good thing since right now I'm found out you can craft Magic scrolls in /dragonrune and it got me thinking. What if aqw made an massive update for professions like fishing and blacksmithing. I mean it already has spellcrafting so it would be nice to see professions and be able to trade your wares.
If Trade comes to aqw in then i want trading, to be equeal items so you can`t make profit but only get something you did not get back in time. (Just like buy back)

I have 400+ ac gears in my bank, 99,9% of them 0ac items and some of them extremely hard to get(Drakath's set , etc...). My inventory space is 30 also I'm freeplayer. Every non-ac items that I have extremely useful(hadean onyx of nulgath, etc...) for me. I need solution!
Dude I have a different take on trading in aqw I think it could work as long as ae just determines categories for example I have VHL and you have BLoD then both players could trade this for that if both wants besides that is probably the only way which it could work and have a relevant point to it not only another useless feature

Trading is a bad addition if it's allowing farmable items in exchange for rare or ac (payed) tagged items in the short run it will work in the long run it will be crap and irritating
I think trading in aqw would be cancerous tbh if you look at Growtopia people are getting their accounts hacked on that game everyday because you can trade in Growtopia but if you can trade Aqw there will be more hackers peoples acc's will get hacked.
By definition in our conversation, we mean "hackers" who scam you're account and not the coding hackers And there are already a number of scammers in game, just that it is easy not to see them alot Also just spamming chat "trade accounts" won't get you far soo if ever there will be trading items, most of the time would be you're fault since you didn't check or got scam by fancy words, etc but then again, we don't really know if this would happen or not.
You made good points but trading is useless if you can only trade non rare items. I am an item collector and started on 2014, just wished that i started way back so i could have collected more stuff back then. This trading in aqw always has some good and bad on them. Good because you can trade rares from maybe even the one time rare events that people had but didnt want them anymore. And bad because like you said, trading removes the farming aspecr of the game if you can just buy it from another person. But AE should be able to fix this by only making items from rare shops and not farmable items tradeable, for example the quibble rares, you should be able to trade it but not those exclusive items from other ae games or heromart.

Why would you care about blod or doomknight armor when peopke are getting it with ease by botting, worry about legendary items such as the blood/hex/shadow of nulgath, original dark caster, all these items which make people drop their mouths will loose their value. These so called "hard to get" items will never have any value, until ae finds a way to deal with botters. The actual problem will be dealing with the trading of rare items.

obviously if trading was implemented you wouldnt be able to trade blod or sdka because of the badge attached to it and the person selling said blod or sdka can get it back for free just to sell it again but i think it would be a good idea for the implementation of trading in aqw for stuff that is farmable and rares that you can not just obtain right back from a badge shop, and always know your items worth like if an item is easy to obtain say from a boss drop you shouldnt pay 2k acs for said drop the two people that are involved in a trade can cancel the trade at anytime if the traded items are not of equal value if you decide to give somebody 10k acs for a easy boss drop thats on you dude

Tbh as much as i like new features in games, i still agree with renegade. Trading will either be game changing (for better or worse) or it will be so useless that it will be forgotten after a few weeks of its implementation.

I'm 50/50 on trading because of people can scamming to each other, if you're trading then you need to have some certain certification to be able to trade like repetition, boss drop, difficulties, etc...
Hey Ray. You made some valid points. But you forgot one! How about the old Milt rares? people just farm for them if they have the orbs and then later sell the items from it. It DESTROYS rarity entirely. There would be duplicate items flowing through the game. Some people don't play this game to farm, some people play show off their rares like myself. I've been collecting since 08 and it seriously worries me that the game will be ultimately ruined.

I agree with trading farmable items, but only farmable items that are rare, that way you can't ree farm them to trade again and what about implement a feature that allow you to put a password on your account to block the trading system in our accounts, to make it more secure ?

Im not against on trading but i like what you said on trading rare to rare items and not rare to farmable/bossdrop/seasonal item it kinda suck when that happen all people have Blod will trade it to those who dont have it
then they should make a trade BUT only for items that you get as a member and equip as a non member or AC items that accualy cost no boss drops that are just AC items and dont cost AC

well if trading isn't gonna happen at least, have a transfer system beacuse i have 2 accounts and i want to merge like into 1 acc only. they can ask as much information as they want for it to be legit though.and let them set some rules like only max level characters are allowed to use this etc.... etcc...

You should be able to trade anything no limits but if someone is trying to scam you e.g you are giving them a vhl and they are giving you a slime stick it could say VERY BAD DEAL on the side
Personaly I think trading in aqw could be a good thing since right now I'm found out you can craft Magic scrolls in /dragonrune and it got me thinking. What if aqw made an massive update for professions like fishing and blacksmithing. I mean it already has spellcrafting so it would be nice to see professions and be able to trade your wares.
If Trade comes to aqw in then i want trading, to be equeal items so you can`t make profit but only get something you did not get back in time. (Just like buy back)

I have 400+ ac gears in my bank, 99,9% of them 0ac items and some of them extremely hard to get(Drakath's set , etc...). My inventory space is 30 also I'm freeplayer. Every non-ac items that I have extremely useful(hadean onyx of nulgath, etc...) for me. I need solution!

Dude I have a different take on trading in aqw I think it could work as long as ae just determines categories for example I have VHL and you have BLoD then both players could trade this for that if both wants besides that is probably the only way which it could work and have a relevant point to it not only another useless feature

Trading is a bad addition if it's allowing farmable items in exchange for rare or ac (payed) tagged items in the short run it will work in the long run it will be crap and irritating
I think trading in aqw would be cancerous tbh if you look at Growtopia people are getting their accounts hacked on that game everyday because you can trade in Growtopia but if you can trade Aqw there will be more hackers peoples acc's will get hacked.

And there are already a number of scammers in game, just that it is easy not to see them alot
Also just spamming chat "trade accounts" won't get you far soo if ever there will be trading items, most of the time would be you're fault since you didn't check or got scam by fancy words, etc but then again, we don't really know if this would happen or not.
You made good points but trading is useless if you can only trade non rare items. I am an item collector and started on 2014, just wished that i started way back so i could have collected more stuff back then. This trading in aqw always has some good and bad on them. Good because you can trade rares from maybe even the one time rare events that people had but didnt want them anymore. And bad because like you said, trading removes the farming aspecr of the game if you can just buy it from another person. But AE should be able to fix this by only making items from rare shops and not farmable items tradeable, for example the quibble rares, you should be able to trade it but not those exclusive items from other ae games or heromart.

AQWorlds *needs* trading in order to get revived.
Why would you care about blod or doomknight armor when peopke are getting it with ease by botting, worry about legendary items such as the blood/hex/shadow of nulgath, original dark caster, all these items which make people drop their mouths will loose their value. These so called "hard to get" items will never have any value, until ae finds a way to deal with botters. The actual problem will be dealing with the trading of rare items.
