One finds trucks and big rigs all around the world, but the beautiful, clean and polished rigs of the USA are simply awe-inspiring. I remember the first time my father and I took the road and began to see these beautiful long-nose (long hood) trucks lit up with rows and rows of lights, highly-polished tankers reflecting your image better and bigger than any mirror anywhere and those memories bring a tear to my eyes thinking about our excitement looking at them and looking for them ... beautiful ships of the open road.
Bill is an absolute madman. The process that he goes through to have beautiful trucks is outstanding. He seems like such a character. Love his builds. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏁🏁🏁🏁🙏🙏
Definitely another Rotella Callender truck..... I TOTALLY AGREE with Bill , when he said what I was thinking at that moment....... He's "CRAZY & NUTS" But we love it..... keep it up...
Awesome rig. Love those marker/caution lights. Hauled fuel for 30 yrs. Those would have been great to have. Can't tell you the number of times I had to stop people from wanting to run over my hoses.
Seeing the truck with the trailer - oof. That's going to be one sexy combo when it's all done. And the insane level of detail Bill's going to is just other-worldly. Pointing bolts the same way, lining up the tires so they all read the same, etc., it's stuff that few are willing to do. I can't wait to see it done. On a different note - the Firewire products are really nice. I have some of them on my pickups and have been pleased with them.
We’re so lucky to witness the sickness of Bills unrelenting quest for perfection! I’m glad there’s still old school drivers in this new age industry that have no choice but to go 200% all in on a project! Y’all are knocking them all out of the park but Project Legendary is gunna be knocked into the next zip code and I can’t wait to watch the transformation! Hope I get to see it in person one of these days!
That's goin' to be one crazy build, but it will be well worth the effort put in, when the final finished product is revealed. We'll be tuned in to watch it all happen! Good luck guys!
I worked on a assembly line for several years building petro trailers for two of the top brands. Mainly electrical, pneumatics, monitor and equipment. That's a fascinating trailer. My heart goes out to the people who wired that trailer either way it was done, old school or P&P I was wondering about the nose box and gladhands. Looks nice, one thing I noticed though. I do believe it's illegal to put lights between the landing legs like that. Last time I had one come down the line similar it caused some engineering calls to the DOT.
That truck is amazing when it's going to be done I can't wait to see this finished product I am 73 almost 74 I retired last March it'll be a marches year you coming the owner is amazing guy and I am getting so happy for him he earned it and he'll enjoy it and thank you for building this truck which will be a piece of History
You guys are Awesome, Bill Rethwish is the man. I Love the commitment to perfection. That Legendary Red color is absolutely beautiful. I would Love to have you do my truck someday in memory of my Dad. Fantastic Channel and Bill does absolutely phenomenal builds. Looking forward to the next video !! Mark
Hi from uk guys👋 awesome rig to start with but cant wait to see her done I alread seen a sneak peek and love the red piping lol summit different 👍 love it thanks guys and including her tanker she not long project but she is a ""loonnnnggg " project cant wait tho 👍👍 always good job👍
As a tanker yanker myself. This thing when it’s done will be a extremely Sexy Unit.. I can only imagine how much of thrill it would be to operate something as beautiful as it. You guys as usual are making eye popping results on yet another truck. 🇺🇸🇺🇸😎👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸
I hear the 389 is coming to an end next year? True or not? 1 what the heck are you guys going to do then? 2 I really want to get truck some day but it doesn’t look promising..
Those black caps on top of the landing gear on the trailer it would have been cool if they were made to look like dice on each side and whatever truck number that ends up being that's what the dice equal up to on both sides
Beautiful build but I don’t understand having all of the wheels exactly in the same position. One turn and they will all be mismatched. Unless it’s for pictures before it’s moved
Yes once the truck rolls the front and rear drives will not be aligned. At shows, for extra points, some drivers will jack up each axel and rotate each tire with the name brands on top and the numbers on the bottom. Having the valve stem on the outer rim at 6 so the judges can see it and the inner rim at 12. It's all about the details. Some people aren't willing to do it but the judges and those who have an eye for it appreciate the extra effort. I was at a show were one guy beat out another because his engine belts were all turned the same way so you could read the part numbers.
I think that it would be really cool & good looking also it would add a little more safety if the arms on the TALC system also flashed. It would look really good if they were flashing like a new mustangs rear turn signals. Just my opinion. It still looks great as is!!!
It's Kool, but outlawed in several states now, starting with California. Older than 2015, or anything engine related that's modified from factory original. They will allow a permit to drive straight through the state, no stops, but can't do business there. WA DOT considering outlawing frame mods as well. Looks nice though....,👍
Why did they even get the frame painted from the factory, "dumb" I would have got the frame dipped , since it supposedly is going to run in the elements!
He can’t do much dropping gas with it because it ain’t got enough hoses. He needs at least 4 hoses. 2 drop 2 vapor. Ain’t no room for them. It’s a fully show truck. It ain’t for working.

Wow... I have seen Bill’s trucks at Wildwood Fl. They are immaculate. I hope some are there for the 2022 show. 👍 from Newfoundland 🇨🇦 via Leesburg Fl.
Here from Bruce's video. What a beautiful rig.

Crazy. Keep it up
EXCITED to see it !!
I can’t wait for that red to be on the truck.. ❤️
Soooo cherry!!!!! Y'all fuel a guys dreams!!!!
To do it that precise wouldn’t it be better to start with another new frame from Peterbilt?
Imagine a smoothed out Pete with zero rivet's on the hood cab or sleeper.....would be pretty nice!
Will this truck be at 75 chrome shop show or Mayberry truck show?
here from bruce's channel
Very classy truck
Beautiful build! 😍 Now I know why the price of fuel is going up! Lol
i might have missed it but what engine does it have
awsome truck need to make a skid steer attachment with 2 30 inch floor buffers to polish that fuel tank 🤣
Did some body have a fender bender with that left rear light under the frame?
Oh, those were just some old lights we tossed on there to get it up to the paint shop. 👍
@@SEMICasualShow gotcha
What color will the rear fenders be?
Black
Does that truck have a hidden DEF tank?
What is the wheelbase ? Looks just perfect.
295
I hear the 389 is coming to an end next year? True or not? 1 what the heck are you guys going to do then? 2 I really want to get truck some day but it doesn’t look promising..
U guys should paint the motor legendary red also while u have the motor out!!!!!! Phil from Canada cheers.
Where can i find the insulation and sound proofing you guys used on this build?
Hey 👋 Semi Causal what’s engine is best for 389 CumminsX15 vs Paccar MX13? I love CumminsX15
They are both great engines, really the choice depends on applications and location.
@@SEMICasualShow it’s the CumminsX15 better to work on n service then the Paccar MX13?
Bill's Pete is in "Rat Rod" mode, right now. Lol
Is it just for show or is it a working tanker truck?
This will be a working truck
wow love it good luck
@@SEMICasualShow
Fine truck man but why a grass burner. Still love the truck
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍

It's going to amazing but wouldn't it have been cheaper to have the frame done in primer instead of paint from the factory?

Is this truck going to be ready for MATS??
That’s the plan!
Hey what’s up bros how y’all doing
Could never get that stretched out long nose in half the stations I run lol
I hope hes going to ppf the entire bottom of that trailer. Rock chips galore, if he doesn't
👍😉
Hi

Why did they even get the frame painted from the factory, "dumb" I would have got the frame dipped , since it supposedly is going to run in the elements!
Talk about having money to burn he has it
Was hear

Wait...it's a grass burner???? Tear that out.
thats just getting to nit picky and pointless
He needs to seek professional help.
What a waste of time and money. Not to mention the peterbilt. Cummins eaton x warranty is out the door. Goofy!!!!
