    I've been watching for about 11 years now Jim. you were the reason I switched from fresh water to saltwater. I still have reef tanks today. I'm working on a sps lagoon tank at the moment. I hope everything's going well man keep up the good work!

    Jim thank you for allowing us the joy of watching you work. You do a great job! I no longer have my aquarium (I moved), but i still have fond memories of working on it and playing your vids in the background for inspiration. Thanks again! We'll miss Scott, but thankfully we still have you and condi. Although, I have to say I do miss Jack the pocketknife guy. He added a certain level of oh shit to the show. Lol, take care!

    Looks so much better with just live rock and no decorative dead coral.

    Be careful with those current pumps...when power is disconnected, the pump will be at 100% when power comes back on.

    what are the pros and cons of a Clear For Life Rectangle UniQuarium 3-in-1 Acrylic Aquarium

    • @lafishguy
      @lafishguy  3 роки тому +1

      I suppose the downside is its ACRYLIC which can scratch easier than GLASS and as ACRYLIC it does have a slightly more restricted opening / access on top of the tank, the upside is its an All In One Tank, its basically Plug N Play. Its a very capable system. Ive used many of them myself and would have no hesitation using any of the models.

      @@lafishguy i want to upgrade and have this tank as my main show tank in the living room does it have any issues with seams or walls breaking? Would the filter in the back be enough or should I used a canister as well

    • @lafishguy
      @lafishguy  3 роки тому

      @@andrewp4722 Ive had very few seam issues so no concerns there. The filter is quite robust and capable, no concerns there as well.

    No RoDI water? That’s bad

    • @lafishguy
      @lafishguy  Рік тому

      As a fish only system I didnt see it necessary to go to the expense and the logistics of providing RODI water on the initial filling. All water changes from this point forward have been with done with purified SW, and I can tell you, now that its two years since the tank was set up, that its actually doing quite well.
