- This Japanese urban legend centers around a certain school in Japan. It wasn't the only school to be supposedly haunted. The reason being that there was a time when Japan needed more schools, but had nowhere to construct them due to the limited amount of land available. So, they decided it would be best to build them over ancient, and forgotten old cemeteries. Soon enough rumors started to arise that those schools were haunted. At this school in particular, people claimed that if you venture onto the grounds at midnight on the 15th day of the month, there's a definite chance that you'll see and hear weird and unsettling things. For example, it was claimed that the statue at the front of the building would follow you with its eyes, the number of steps to the main doors would change, and the list of odd things gets stranger and more horrific, as it goes on...

Guys, it's Michiko's spirit that came out of the bathroom. If she hadn't come out and told the guys to leave, they probably would have gone inside the bathroom to check her and die. She saved her friends even though she just died herself. I am crying 😢.

Of course, building schools on graves, even if they are old, is very uncomfortable. How can they do this? Are the dead will rest in peace and there is a troublesome school over their heads. Is sabotage the peace of the dead is acceptable now?

Ooo great story! I was a little weirded out when the girl walked out of the bathroom and her character completley changed. She was hopeful through out their night there and wanted Hero's dreams to come true. But when she walks out she acts like the others boys and talks about how she knew the Myth of fake. It makes more sense now haha.

This is a prime example of how horror movies should be. These days horror movies are about jump scares. But real horror movies and stories are all about the imagination, the more you think about something, the more it creeps you out. I believe
Always keep the supernatural element hidden in a horror movie. It’s much more scarier like that.

You ever notice that these scary stories take place in isolated times? And never during broad daylight with lots of people around.
I think the best way to stop haunted places from hurting people is to populate said places with lots of activity. Let the school become a 24 hour open facility with classes going on every hour on the hour. So that said ghosts will be overwhelmed with having to deal with so much living people. I'd like to see a story do something like this.

There was a prison on Costa Rica where the inmates usually hung up themselves on their cells. It was so scary, and the government decided to shut down that prison, only to several years later make it a museum for kids following your idea. But even with that, bad vibes still remain so strong in the halls of the former prison that there are several areas that are not open to the public. That’s not being practical. Demolishing the prison and build a church instead is the best solution, but the government wants profits! So what can we do about it.

This school is kinda same as mine. Our school has a statue and we would always cover our IDs because it would follow us or actually kill us...Our school used to be a cemetery and my friends with third eyes would see a white lady and a black man...Our school also has a haunted bathroom the last time i've been there was with my friend, we took a break and went to do our business, when we were inside we kept taking to each other since we were scared one of us might leave the other, while we were talking we heard a loud bang which was the bathrooms door, one of the sinks turned on, i screamed and asked if my friends was still there, I hurried and went out of the cubicle to see that we were the only people there...we tried opening the door but it was locked, we heard scratching noises from the window so as usual we screamed, the door finally opened and we ran to our classmates but no one would believe us, The bathroom we used was actually the same bathroom a girl died in...Well im now happy that i don't have to experience that right now since i have online classes

Same!! Thought there’s a difference because in the original story, they were all boys. Here, it’s 3 boys and 1 girl.
Here is a twist the girl did came out and went home with the boys, but when they all reach home safe and sound , michiko or the girl forgot her watch on the sink, as she took it off while washing her hands becaus she didn't want it too get wet,.. so she went back to the school climb up th gate pass the statue and up the stairs, ......then she she found her watch in the girls room but, something made a noise , sounded like it came from the lab....she walk towards it n saw nothing how ever as she turn to walk out,... A face appeared right there before her, it was pale with wide deep eyes like a tiger looking at a piece of meat, it had long black hair, its mouth was dripping blood ,its body was a head and neck and below it u can see the internal organs its intestines and the lungs, its bloody heart....almost vomited at her sight...floating on air.... then it crepted closer to the girl, and the girl step back and back as she manage to take hold of a lab piece insturment and stab it on neck as the blood of the beast smeared all over the sink , then michiko ran towards the exit but it was jamed, she was stuck she head back to the girls toilet and shut the door there she see a window that let outsid behind her she braked the glass and tried to get out, but she cuts herself blood was driping all over her, then a scream burst in the air, the toilet door shaked vigorously, and BANG....there it was the creature, bites michigo on her foot pulled her off the window the glass rips michigo chest and stomach, and cuts off her neck, a wire hung from the cealing tangel michigo and there it let loosed and hung her as blood smeard everywhere and the creature feeds on her bloody intestines and vomited some parts that it couldn't digest, the stairs well when she climb up it was 13steps but when she walk in to the school it bought her to another dimension the statue faced right as the portal is now closed and the stairs were 12steps again michiko's body is back to the reals world, but here soul is trap forever, the watch strikes one as the ritual is complete ............Hope you like it
The girl's watch stopped at 1am so I assume it was that kind of watch that runs because of the user's pulse (my father have a watch like that) so I assume it was the spirit that came out of the stall...

Watching the bathroom part in the bathroom is really a bad idea, now I have to keep my eyed open for sudden unnerving changes of atmosphere, the last part really gives me the chills..

I already knew where this story was going when the girl came out the bathroom. I already knew that she got hung and her ghost was who the kids saw before going home. I predicted the entire story before finishing it lol
I don’t think it was her spirit because someone pointed out that before she was trying to lift Hero’s spirits (or whatever his name is) so his dreams would come true, but after ‘she’-It came out of the bathroom she had a completely difference personality and was saying she knew it was all fake, so I think it was the thing that killed the girl posing as her

I could sense something was odd about Nichiko when she stepped out of the bathroom, as the narrator said she stepped out of the bathroom minutes later. The real Nichiko was slaughtered in the stall during the tense minutes that passed, and the ‘Nichiko’ that came out of the bathroom was either her Ghost/Soul or a spirit from the school resembling her.
But hey that’s just a theory, a *SPOOKY* theory

Another fantastic piece. My school had a similar story. There was a bathroom in our tech building that nobody went into. It was apparently haunted by a girl who killed herself after school. They said if you stayed in that bathroom after school you'll die the same way. Not sure how true this is, only that if you needed the bathroom you went into another building.

Man, this is why I love Japanese horror! If you guys love it too, you should watch Yamishibai! There are 7 seasons, each has 13 episodes which are around 4-5 minutes long. It's an anime, but the art style is different and spooky. Check it out!
