  • Unfortunately I am off the road this week due to an accident that happened with me..... I fell off my trailer , hit my back, couldn’t walk and ended up in the E.R. I didn’t remember what happened to much but luckily my security camera cut all that. I’ll post that video later.....
So because as of now I wasn’t even able to get in my truck due to my accident and back is killing me, I made a slight modifications to my sleeper area in the truck. I was pretty damn numb from all the pain medications and muscle relaxers yesterday so the pain wasn’t the issue it was the speed I was doing this project. It was taking me all day basically....
I made a “bed” frame out of 1x4’s and I used the factory bolts to secure the frame to the trucks body, same bolt same hole that secures the seat. Nothing fancy and it’s not perfect but for the condition I’m in right now this was the best I was able to come up with.

I must have my driver seat back a lot further than yours is. It looks like you have much more space. Thanks for sharing!

Maybe but remember the rear seat is out so all that space freed up

I was wondering how wide you made the bed frame? Thank you!

Is that to DOT spec to be considered a Sleeper Berth 393.76? You might want to check before logging Sleeper Berth time. I got burned by that, just wanted to save you the heartache!

Hotshot doesn’t use sleeper berth. Off duty for reset that’s all.
