HOLLAND: Hoek van Holland, pier & beach

The North Pier stretches 4.5 kilometres into the sea (Dutch: Noorderpier or Noorderhoofd).
The pier has, from the gate at the beginning, a length of 1963 meters and the block dam at the end measures 2677 meters.
Hook of Holland, literally "Corner of Holland", is a town in the Netherlands situated on the North Sea coast. Each year about 30.000 ships sail by Hoek van Holland.
The Nieuwe Waterweg ("New Waterway") is a ship canal. It is the artificial mouth of the river Rhine.

Thanks for another great video, many years ago my family spent a day there, we had a tent which kept on blowing over, as no one knew how to work it, I always remember eating broodjes, which had lots of sand in them, good memories..........
