God Bless you brother Chooch. A year or two ago, I had watched a Watch woman's UA-cam channel; I can't recall the name. I seemed to be learning much but when she said " the 144,000 would be members of the Mormon Church'", I immediately unliked and unsubscribed.
The babies that Herod killed were all in the area of Bethlehem. But the 144,000 are 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. Which means that they will be from every area of Israel. Not one small place (Bethlehem).
The scripture reads and all the coasts thereof. If it is the babies, (not saying it is), but it could be a double application of the valley of dry bones. They would be with the Lord, as to be absent from the body is to be present with Him and they follow Him where He goes. Also being slaughtered innocently there would have been no guile from their mouths and they of course would be virgins in all sense of the world. The Coptic Christians, a very old sect of Christianity which I know nearly nothing about, believe that the number of babies slaughtered were 144,000. I don't know of course, no one does for sure, but some day we will. I do have a hard time imagining 144,000 Jewish men at this time who are virgins and no guile found in them, following the Lamb, when most don't believe in Him. But with God all things are possible. If they believe now, they would be part of the Church. 🙂
Not so… Matthew 2:16 states, that when Harrod saw he was mocked of the wisemen, he was exceeding Roth, and sent Fourth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coast, there of, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wisemen.
So, this fulfilled Jeramiahs prophecy of Rachel weeping for her children and would not be comforted…
Robert Breaker did an EXCELLENT study on this entitled “Who are the 144,000?”.. that was when I understood that, yes, it is IMHO, it is the baby boys Herod killed and it got me to thinking it could include the baby boys Pharaoh threw into the Nile.. to me that would be a possibility of the way of God’s thinking… how else could there be Jewish young men who have NEVER lied, nor been with a woman? Ummm… the babies make more sense…

I like some of his teachings, but his belief that people who lived before the cross were saved by their works or law keeping is crazy, and I just cannot believe that anyone who has spent that much time in God’s Word would come to the conclusion that most people who will be in heaven will not have a Savior named Jesus because He didn’t really save them!
Sounds crazy right, if those people back then were able to obey the law perfectly which Robert Breaker knows that God’s Word says is not possible, than why would he believe and teach something so ludicrous that people were able to live a sinless life just as Jesus did?

He does have the Gospel right which is read in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and he also believes that if we do not believe with ‘our heart’ and just our mind, then we have not really believed, which also is weird because he should know that the Hebrew word for mind and heart is Lev which is defined as,
In Hebrew, the heart (lev or levav) is the center of human thought and spiritual life. We tend to think that the heart refers mainly to our emotions, but in Hebrew it also refers to one's mind and thoughts as well.
In other words when we believe with our God given brain or mind, we have believed with our heart.

Yeah. I don’t agree with everything he says either but he says that this was another persons teaching that he shared and he thought it was interesting.

And for Moses being the 2nd witness, I have scripture that backs it up as well. Exodus 7:20-21
You may be right, however God can give that power to anyone, it's not Moses' power, it's God's power.
I believe the two witnesses are Elijah and Moses, based on Rev.11:6. It says "these have the power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will." Plus, Jewish people are looking for Elijah's return. No clue who the 144,000 are.😸
But God can give those powers to anyone he chooses, those are not exclusively powers belonging to Moses.
I put this in the category of “who cares”. It’s irrelevant. Why bother arguing about something that doesn’t matter? THe answer here is no....because the town of Bethlehem was a very tiny town, with about 1000 people at best. Commentators have said there would have been likely no more than a couple of dozen babies, if that, murdered

Well nothing logical sits well with the 144000 from a literal sense; all from Israel, all virgins and 12000 from each of the 12 tribes....each would have to be a miracle at this point. Symbolically spiritual would be the only way it could pass the test, though IMO the scriptures seem to explain it in a more physical and literal explanation. So it seems a mystery until it's fruition.

Out of you Bethlehem-Ephratha will rise one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose origins are of old. All 144,000. 12,000 from each tribe would have to live, and die there, and be under 2 years old. Jude 1:9 says that the devil contended with Michael about the body of Moses. What was so important about Moses' body? I think that God planned to raise Moses from the dead, so that he could be one of the two witnesses. If Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, the God can raise Moses from the dead.
What does it matter what happened to his body, God has the power to resurrect it no matter what.
The Yeshiva's in Israel and other places (USA) have thousands of young men. A strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit could bring them in a very short time. Transfiguration - my guess is Moses and Elijah. A third party observed Peter seeing Moses and Elijah.

Just my understanding, but just like the sealed 144,000 not being resurrected babies or people, but men, I don't believe that the 2 Witnesses are resurrected people in their glorified bodies either. Just like Moses, or Elijah, or any other person that has walked the earth except for Jesus and those that arose from the dead when he did, the 2 Witnesses are just 2 of our fellow pots, just like the rest of us- 2 Witnesses out of the great hall of witnesses that we all belong to.
If you will indulge me- I believe they come from the 2 Tribes missing in Numbers 7 & Revelation 7: Levi & Dan. They are also the Shulamite (who is a daughter of Aaron, just like Elizabeth was-John the Baptist's mother). Not only will they be the 2 Witnesses, but will raise up the name of the dead in their union- to fulfill the Lord's promises to Moses in the desert when he prayed for the children of Israel, when God was angry with them.
There is a 2nd Sarah that I found in Numbers 26:46 and 1 CH 7:30. Sarah, the daughter of Asher. Sarah is an important name to the Lord- mother of many nations. This name in Strong's Concordance is Sarah of the remnant. In Song of Solomon, the Beloved calls the Shulamite "my sister, my spouse," just like Abram called Sarai when they went down into Egypt. Also, just as in Luke 2, Anna the prophetess was of the Tribe of Asher. Her conterpart- Simeon's tribe was not mentioned, but like in the Gospels when Andrew and Philip are often connected together, so too the Tribes of Judah and Dan are together in directing the construction of the Tabernacle, and also Dan is connected to Asher as the tribes in the back when they wandered through the wilderness. There are more connections, but I will spare you. Sorry for going on and on. (This is literally all that I hae been studying for over a while full time). So when the real temple showed up in the form of Jesus as a baby, it makes sense that the Tribe of Dan would be there, as he was represented with the raising of the Tabernacle.
Whoever Elijah that is to come is, from the Tribe of Dan, Genesis 49:16 says will rule his people as one of the 12 tribes of Israel-just like Jesus told his apostles that they would do, sitting on 12 thrones. Jesus said that many of those that were first will be last, and the last first. Ezekiel 48 shows the inheritance of Dan as being the Northern Front, near Damascus. In the Strong's the name Dan is just after the word Damascus. The lot for Asher is just south of the lot for Dan.
And Chooch, this may sound crazy, but you may actually know one of the 2 Witnesses now, and he you. I think that's why the powers of darkness have been getting so agressive this year. Whoever the 2 Witnesses are, they are willing and have prayed for it. Isaiah said, "Here am I. Send me." John the Baptist and Lazarus (John 11:11) were called friend's of Jesus long before Jesus called his apostles friends in John 15:15, because they knew their master's business.

I dont really subscribe to the traditional thought on the 2 witnesses... I understand why people would think the traditional way but what makes more sense to me is to have the 2 human authorities for the 2 different ""administrations"" if you will,,,,, So I think it will be Moses representing the law and Paul representing grace... none of the others knew of grace. why would they witness to it? Both Moses and Paul spent a good amount of time with Lord Jesus too...
Very compelling idea. I believe that the 2 Witnesses are a daughter of Aaron (Levi) and a man from the Tribe of Dan. I came to this from studying the Song of Solomon. The Shulamite (who is a daughter of Aaron) and her Beloved. This book is connected to Psalms 45 - a wedding song to the tune of "Lilies" in some translation titles, which says in Ps 45:2, "Grace is poured into thy lips"- I think the Beloved is from the Tribe not mentioned in Revelation 7, the Tribe of Dan- which is the 5th Son of Jacob, and the number 5 is also the number of grace. "The king's daughter" also mentioned in Psalm 45 being the Shulamite, who her Beloved describes as being "As a lily among thorns" (Ca 2:2) and then is mentioned again in a parallel passage Ca 6:8.
Also in Psalms 45: 10 when it says,"Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear"....
Wel I looked up "consider" in the Strong's Concordance, and the Lord led my eyes right to Jesus saying "consider" in his Sermon on the Mount". The Lord is so good! Consider the lilies....Consider the ravens...Consider the lilies...

The 2 Witnesses- the Shulamite and her Beloved, and Solomon- a precursor to the final antichrist were hidden in the Sermon on the Mount all along. I am beginning to believe that the Gospels are really the meat and the milk- not just the milk.

Yes, that is true, however a daughter of Aaron is significant in itself. Just as the lineage of Jesus through his mother Mary is also significant, and both go all the way back to Elisheba, the sister of Naason, and daughter of Aminadab. Elisheba married Aaron and their grandson was Phineas (the one that executed judgement in the desert of Sinai and that was counted unto him for righteousness sake) -and on down to the sons of Zadok, who will serve before the Lord Jesus in the Temple during his millenial reign. Whereas Eli -who served as a Levite (when Samuel arrived as a child)- his line was cursed because of the way he and his son's mistreated the people that brought offerings and put themselves above the Laws of the Lord and served themselves of the offerings, before offering to the Lord. Their lineage was cursed for this. Meanwhile, it is thought that Phineas lived throughout the whole time of the Book of Judges. There are family curses and blessings- and this is a whopping example of it.
Those that exalt themselves will be humbled, and those that humble themselves will be exalted.

From what I can make out from the Lords good book; I think the 144,000 will be made up of twelve tribes of Israel (not the nation of Israel), 12,000 from each tribe (12 x 12,000). These will be chosen by God to spread his word and fulfil designated purposes, they will be the remnant in the final days.
A child of Israel is a believer in Christ, nothing to do with the nation of Israel we see today. This allows the remnant to include chosen people all over the world to serve God in the end times
In relation to them being virgins, I think this refers to belief and has nothing to do with sex. I think this will be linked to being born again, being renewed in belief and submitting to Christ, to then be set with their tasks during these end times.

@@grapestheoriginal In Rev 14:4, this can be understood in a few different ways, with metaphorical meaning that does not literally mean to be sexually defiled with women, and with different translations of the original Greek text ‘παρθένοι’ that suggests the word ‘Virgin’ can also be likened to ‘Saints’ or ‘Redeemed’. It’s a very interesting book to dissect, and I think we will soon see the answers come to life during our life time :)

@@darragh2511 I think the best way to read the Bible is to accept the meaning present on the face of the text, otherwise it is too open to human interpretation and thus confusion. Of course there are exceptions, and the English does not always convey the subtlety of the original. However, I generally reject the metaphysical. Because God is not the author of confusion, I tend not to attribute complicated meanings to scripture that the average reader cannot possibly grasp. I believe God intended for everyone to read the scriptures and understand for himself.

I agree that everyone will bring their own understanding when reading Gods word, and find truth in it, and connect with God by reading it, but discernment is needed, and can be asked for when reading it, especially with a book like Revelations that is an unfolding puzzle that cannot be interpreted by the text translations alone. We all have different gifts, so not all will interpret the text the same way unfortunately, but God knows this, and allows the ancient text to continually come to life with every new day. God is not the author of confusion, I agree, but he knows he is vastly beyond us in terms of our understanding, so knows many will be confused by elements of his work, yet knows that his children with specific gifts can then help and share different aspects, so all can join in unity to then fully understand the text. The book of Revelations is a giant metaphorical riddle, unraveling is essential to understand it, as it does not make literal sense for the most part, and is not in chronological order. I learn from the text with every passing day, his book is awe inspiring, it humbles me daily. I will continue to read it and try understand it fully, as none of the hundreds of translations or anyone on earth can claim to know it’s exact meaning, but with Gods help and guidance, we get a little closer each day we’re here :) God bless 🙏🏼

So then you don't believe that anyone is going to accept Christ during the tribulation? What Else Does “Sealed” Mean? In Holy Bible Times,
People Put A Seal On Something To Show They Owned It.
So, When The New Testament Talks About YEHOVA’S Seal,
It Is A Word Pic- Ture That Helps Us Understand An Important Truth: “ ‘The ELoHIM Knows Who HIS Own People Are’
” (2 Timothy 2:19 ). YEHOVA “Writes” HIS NAME On HIS People’s Hearts When HE Pours HIS Spirit On Them
(Ephesians 1:13, 14; Ephesians 4:30).
That Is What YEHOVA’S Seal Means. In The End Time,
YEHOVA Will Put A Seal On HIS People Above Their Eyes To Show That They Obey HIS LAW (Revelation 14:1, 12). YEHOVA’S Seal Is Not A Real Mark.
It Is A Word Picture That Shows How YEHOVA’S People
“Grow More Loyal To The Truth In Their Minds And Hearts So That Nothing Will Change Them.”

YEHOVA Tested HIS People’s Loyalty. In The Old Testament,
YEHOVA’S People Showed Their Loyalty To YEHOVA
By Keeping The HOLY Sabbath
(Exodus 31:12-17; Ezekiel 20:12, 20).
The Sabbath Also Will Be The Test At The End Of Time
That Shows Who Is Loyal To YEHOVA
(Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:12).
YEHOVA’S Seal Also Shows Us That YEHOVA Will Protect
HIS People From The Seven Last Troubles.
“I Revealed MYSELF To Those Who Did Not Ask For ME;
I Was Found By Those Who Did Not Seek ME.
To A Nation That Did Not Call On MY NAME,
I SAID, ‘Here AM I, Here AM I. ‘
