This kind of car situation makes one think, when you buy a used car at a dealership, you have no idea that car’s history. Would be interesting to know those things. My uncle once bought a car at an estate sale, it was a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird convertible, 12 years old at the time, but spotless and had less than 2,000 miles on it. This car was pristine. He got it for $300, and was confused because he was literally the only person bidding on it. After he paid for it he asked the auctioneer why he got it so cheap. Apparently the owner had committed suicide in the vehicle 6 months after he bought it, blew his brains out in it. The family sent it to the dealership to have the interior and convertible top replaced, and parked it in a garage, never drove it. My uncle cherished that car, took such good care of it. He said when he first got it home that he went to the car, sat in it, prayed for the soul of the man who’d lost his life in the car, said a word of thanks to him for the blessing, and then enjoyed it.

I am a retired detailer of over 35 years. I love watching your videos, and have even picked up some ideas for when I clean my own vehicles . I wanted to give you a hint when cleaning items such as door panels, center consoles, and anything that can be drenched worth water . After cleaning, scrubbing with a detail brush and steaming, thoroughly rince it with water! It gets into every crevace and gets all the soap and such out. Of course with door panels you will have to remove themvfron the car, and take any switches and/ or speakers off the panel . I have done this in the past and it works great !! Good luck and keep those dirty videos coming!!! J. Reasoner , NJ
I have a similar hint. (I'm a retired detailer of over 35 years also! Just do occasional ones to keep current, plus my own vehicles.) Just wiping off APC or degreaser with a clean rag doesn't remove all the residue and grime. Rinse or steam it off afterward and wipe down. Then look at the MF cloth and see all the extra residue you removed.
I work for a major car rental company(can't name it for legal reasons unfortunately) but we get returns and repossessions like this regularly. Its an ongoing issue.
I don't understand how people get roaches and mice and mold in their cars. But no matter how dumb and negligent I was to my cars while in college, they never got that bad.
@@everlasting9292 I can't attest to why people get roaches and let their cars get into a state but my car recently went mouldy. I've been off work for the last 8 month's unable to drive due to a back injury so my car stayed stationary, undriven. It was only by chance my dad had to go into my car to have a look for something that he noticed a lot of mould growth all on the plastic, seats, the roof. It had spread everywhere! That was after 5-6months of not being driven. Luckily, I have a carpet shampooer with a hand held extractor. Dad sprayed my car with a vinegar mix to kill the mould then extracted all the soft furnishings and cleaned the plastic and it's come up trumps! Now it gets an airing every day and so far no signs of further mould!

I'm very surprised the police let you touch and remove things inside a car that are needed for a police investigation... let alone clean any potential evidence from inside and outside the car. IF anything inside that car is considered evidence then by letting the car leave the impound and go to a third party they have completely contaminated and destroyed most of that evidence. I'm not going to go as far as to call you a liar but either that's a completed crime scene with no further needs or the source who provided you the car HEAVILY exaggerated or completely lied to you.
