In terms of the pre-poo, I haven't really been too big on it, but when I used to use it, I would do a coconut oil pre-poo. So many naturals talk about Aloe Vera as an amazing pre-poo!

I used to love coconut oil, but depending on the brand my scalp itttchhhessss like crazy! I may try it again as a pre poo though.
My favorite prepoo is aloe vera or coconut oil. Love them both.

My favourite brands from 2020 was Soultanicals and Mielle Organics. I really love Soultanicals Curl detoxes and their butta shampoos - pretty much the entire brand really lol!
I've heard a lot of good things about Soultanicals. I think I'll have to try that brand soon!!

You should! I really like the line. It's on the runny side but it's still effective.

Where do you get the Trader Joe's from in Toronto? I've always heard people rave about the Trader Joe's line however I can never find it in the city. Do you buy it online? P.S. your short curly fro is so pretty!
I buy mine in Buffalo. When I go I buy in BULK LOL!!! You can also purchase it online but you'll be paying an arm and a leg for it!! I'm waiting for the all clear to drive down again!
My favorite gel is the Uncle Funky's curly magic. My favorite deep conditioner is the TGIN honey miracle mask.

Hi new to this natural hair and still learning, what does "pre poo" and "co-wash mean"?
Hi!! Pre poo is just basically a treatment that you do before shampooing your hair. Shampoos tend to strip the moisture from your hair so the treatment acts like a protective layer so you don't loose too much.
Co-washing is conditioner only washing. The idea behind co-washing is to avoid shampoos with sulfates which can strip your hair of its' natural oils causing dryness.
