Thank you for posting Dr Mohamed, and sharing this
Thanks so much sir. Your video has relieved my stress.
You don't know how much your videos help me a lot through my research paper. Thankyousomuch❤ i really appreciate your video, your explanation. It's easy to understand thankyouuuu!!!
Happy they did!
Thank you for this video,
I wanted to know if I could use this method (item averaging) to group items from 3 different variables. These three variables together form another variable.
(variables A, B and C form D) knowing that D is not presented by items in the questionnaire.
Thank you very much
Good explanation. Thanks
When I combine variables, the new variable has no data in data view. Why?
Thank you very much. suppose we have 3 main variables (independent variable), (dependent Variable) and (Mediating variable). each variable is measured by some already established and validated scale. and each scale has about 4 Dimensions with about 3 statements for each dimension. and all items were scored on a 7-point Likert scale 1=Strongly Disagree to 7=Strongly Agree. How would be the correct analysis process for each dimension and each scale? and how would be the correlation analysis between the 3 variables? and for the total scores of dimensions/scales, should we use averages (means) or sums and why?. thank you very much in advanced for your kind clarification.

this was a challenge for me, ur video really helped.
Glad it did!
thank you. my question is how to test correlate two variables each with 16 and 15 items in the questionnaire?
Have you done it?
i have a similar problem
Chevk this video. I used the compute variable under the Transform menu to create a composite variable that includes all the sub variables or small questions that come under my variable.

Are the likert nominal or string; ordinal or scale to be able to combine them?
They can be all
Variable name contains an illegal character is coming while creating variable. How I do that
While naming the Target Variable, DO NOT SPACE. Example "VariableName" instead of "Variable Name".
use an underscore eg. xx_yy
Hi Mohamed, thanks for your great videos on stat. Here you worked with finding mean; I heard from several people that we should not find mean for like scale because they are nominal data and getting mean is incorrect. May I know for what kind of Likert scale we should not and for what kind it is okay to do so?
Hello, you can use frequency, percentages or median scores then
Can we find the p-value of each grouped likert-scale items?
Yes, it depends on the inferential statistical test being used.
