I would suggest that any time you can see bands in a window, make the longest cut to halve the rock, this way if/when you have an awesome interior, you can still make another cut & cab the center slab
They were all so beautiful that it's hard to pick a favorite! Love the colors! Especially the pink! But, I would have to say that water line agate was my favorite! 😊
Because of your agatized coral videos I have bought a saw, I live on Lake Huron and crystallized coral is common, we have a different kind of agate though, not as cool as lake superior agates.
I have a batch of Sawzi agates going with the ones from Batswana all are so beautiful but both types are so different and unique. I think the Swazi agates are from Mozambique. Goal is to get at least one type of agate from every Country/Continent. One of the Swazi's I have is completely full of water level banding. Can't wait to send them all back to you when they're all polished to show everyone the before and after.
can you do a short side by side so we can see the difference between swazi and last weeks Botswana ones? the 3rd one, if you could slab it, the light coming thru would be so awesome you make sweet videos. thank you
Hey agate dad how does your system work for people giving you agates? I have a bunch a wouldn’t mind donating because I don’t have the tools or knowledge yet
In the intro, you show the normal cutting speed. Is that about normal for most rocks? I ask as my slab saw does the same, but your soed-up cutting always make it seem like cutting through butter - FAST! Nice to see my saw takes effort like yours. 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
First one reminds me of all cars, planes movies, looks like their eyes over a desert. The 3rd looks like Africa. I think I like the last one the most just because it's unique. I decided to have the surgeon open some of mine😢 I cringed. Not knowing what was inside. The doctor walked into the waiting room (living room) and said I don't know what you call this but it has bands. I grab my sawed in half nod and look down to a Lake Superior geo agate 🥲🥲😙😙🤧😁🫠. ❤❤❤😂🎉🎉 my first one! I have lots of others that look like this from the outside but have never cut into. Idk if the membership includes sending pictures or asking questions. I found a really unique unusual looking agate I would like to send you pictures of. I was blessed a few days ago to go along with, to my friends job site just to hang out. Come to find out the owner of the house is a geologist 🎉. His land is right off a huge park and said go ahead and dig, take whatever you want. I could of jumped in the clay mud puddle I was so excited. I ended up finding 5 agates. I sent him a picture of one and he said, that banding and it's orange, is very uncommon to MN. Is there a way I can send you a couple pictures of this agate? He's more of a fossil guy, so am I. You are the agate MAN! I would like your input/insight on this beauty of an agate.

Nice, which saw?! I’m sure they’re super beautiful!
Wow that banded pink, white and lavender agate is beautiful!
The pink, and white makes me think of a finger cut off with the white center as the bone.
Can't wait to see them polished!
The third one was my favorite!
Your favorite is the one is my favorite. But, all are very pretty.

My money is on any cut you choose, Agate Dad ! 😊
If you cut that first one the wrong direction it would have looked like nothing.
sweet Swazi's!!
"What a stinker bean." Hahaha.
Very cool agates!!! ✌🤠✌
This one was kind of interesting, the dud was the stud, and the stud was the dud 😆
You're right about that last one: prettiest peace of poop ever.
En algunos cortes, en vez a la mitad del ancho, hágala del largo, creo que las vetas se verían más lindas
Definitely number 3😂
Were those "tumbled" tumbler agates you were drinking from? 😁
Some raw Lake Superior agates on a tumbler I made 😅
@@AgateDad I like it! 😀

Those are so incredibly "pretty" - candyfloss colours

Yeah it’s usually a minute or so for agates that size
@@AgateDad Good to know. Thanks!!
