With the solo mode not being fully offline, that isn’t spaghetti code. The code is working exactly as intended, the problem is that the code was built to constantly be connected to the internet. That means things like your username, levels, inventory, everything, is stored on starbreeze servers, and are accessed anytime you change them (buying something like a new gun), and they have to effectively build an entirely new system for Payday 3 to operate off of. IMO, the reason they’re doing it in two parts is because, 1) it will allow them to get the part that can just stop people from being able to play if their internet sucks, and 2) it’s going to take a long time to get the full offline mode implemented, and it’s important to give people physical evidence of their work so that people don’t think they’re just abandoning the game. TLDR: Payday 3 has zero offline support, and adding it is going to take time, so better to do it in parts and get something out before the full implementation.
My biggest want for payday 3 is it to have its own harvest & trustee, jewellery store & shadow raid those heist I loved just grinding and having unique payday 3 versions would be awesome
They really shouldn't add new dlc heists until the issues in the core game are fixed. New content doesn't change taht all weapons feel the same and taht the heists are boring and linear. They really need to change their priorities or the game will end up like back 4 blood.
I think they are actually doing it the right way. They make content so the game doesn't completely fall under the radar and they bugfix/fix the game whenever they release the dlcs and updates. It's the best decision they could make in their situation.

The ability to play solo is already in the game files since launch and modders brought it back a while ago.
