Fox-Ellis-Murray-DeRozan-Sabonis. Monk-Huerter-McDaniel(?)-Lyles-Len. Getting DeRozan cements Monk as the 6th man, imo. Beforehand? No, I'm looking at starting Monk if we got an athletic defender @ 4 instead of our second scoring option. Now tho, I'd roll with Keon in the starting 5.
Agree that the starting lineup should and will likely be: Fox/Ellis/DeRozan/Murray/Sabonis. Bench should be: Monk/Carter (when he comes back from injury)/Huerter/Lyles/Len. And that is assuming we don't make another trade for someone that can play the 4 while shipping out Huerter (like Kuzma or Portis). And if we don't make a trade, signing someone like Precious Achiuwa who is young and can play good inside defense at the 4/5 would be an incredible FA grab to make the Bench unit more like: Monk/Carter/Huerter/Precious/Lyles and switching out Achiuwa or Lyles for Len when we need size more.
