Song of the Ancients actually takes sounds from a lot of languages, but Kainé: Sacrifice is based on Gaelic, Grandma on French and Wretched Automatons on English, to name a few. Voice of No Return is also obviously based on French.
I hate seeing people refer to NieR Gestalt/Replicant as "The Prequel" but on some level, I understand. It was not really in the spotlight until Automata hit the zeitgeist. I just want my favorite game of all time bar none to get a bit more respect on its name, but it can't be helped sometimes. At least it did get attention at all. Love that god damn game, the original and the re-release both.
Kronii had potential for it, I love Kronii, let's not discredit her hardwork in her vocal lessons that she had been so proud of over the past year, she constantly talks about them and how much she's improved

Actually, I dare to guess that she was meant to have the role of the low-registry/power voice in her Gen, similar to Nerissa or Elizabeth, but she took long time to improve her singing. She's always had a marvelous voice! But mostly used for talking and voice acting, while singing was her secondary interest. At least, from the very beginning, and I feel that that's why it took her a while to be confident about releasing her first original song back in the day

Genuinely one of the best covers I’ve probably heard of this song. I’ve been watching Kronii for awhile and honestly didn’t realize just what an amazing voice she actually has until hearing this. And Cecilia with the violin! 🎻 I’m continuously surprised at the talent of Hololive members, and vtubers in general.
I was sad missing the stream but im glad to hear this and im sure i can find the vod archived somewhere for the whole thing. Im very much hoping in the near future for a strings duet with uruka from phase connect as she's also a great violinist who's done a fantastic palette cover im sure towa would love.
That would be a nice collab. I'm also hoping for a classical concert with Cecilia on Violin and/or Viola, Shiori or Sora on the Piano and probably a few other members as well.
