Yep, the most encouraging thing about #33 is he wasn't even supposed to play last year due to the neck. Not only did he play but he showed great potential. He didn't play timid or scared. Next year he'll be a beast. Go Cowboys!!
With the new addition of Mazi our L.B. should be clean to get in the run lanes quick fill.the gap and make the tackle. Damone has the speed and size to play sideline to sideline making plays.
Love your videos ! If Damone Clark can blossom into a pro bowl LB this defense could easily be the best in the NFL. I think OSA and Sam Williams will have break out years. AND they added Gilmore to fix their weakest link at CB2. Get your 🍿 !!!
@@whatever_it_takes6691for this year Tyler Smith. If Tyron goes does down, Tyler slides to left tackle or they put in the guy they snagged from the Falcons. Can’t remember his name at the moment, but the Cowboys did their homework and we have options at o-line if injury occurs. Long term, we draft a left guard next year but we are set for this season.
He’s much better than LVE. Not rookie LVE but current day LVE. No hesitation and he should be better this year. Outstanding breakdown of a gutsy kid. Thanks for your hard work, Football Scout. Keep ‘em coming, we love it!!! #DC4L
Thanks for the video. Clark and Cox both played all of 2022 less than a year past serious surgeries. I hope that they will become much better as those surgeries fade further and further into the rear-view mirror. Leighton Vander Esch is a great leader, but he has an injury history. If Damone Clark can pick up some of his reps, Vander Esch will last longer. Clark, Cox, Overshown, and maybe even Harper will have more speed than Vander Esch does and could be good contributors for a long time. Another channel said that Vander Esch and Clark spent a great deal of time together in the offseason working on things. If so, we could see a great second season for Clark.
@@toualee1430 Nah Cox is showing his ass in mini camp, he's fully recovered from his injuries now. Last year was the first year recovery from his torn ACL and this year he has all the confidence in the world in his knee. Preseason should be a really fun watch for all the LB's trying to make the team to.
@@whoopityscoop9575 I'm assuming you don't watch sports at all. Let me break it down to you like you're a 4 year old. The normal recovery period for an ACL tear is around 18-24 months. Other than that human freak Adrian Peterson most guys still struggle the first season back. Then the next season they have full confidence in the knee and are back to their regular selves.
If these men continue to challenge and push one another, this is probably the best talent, collectively, that we've had at LB since I became a fan in 1992. There was Ware and a standing Greg Ellis for a little bit but they always had an aging vet in between them. Im very excited for this roster in the present and the future. Let's not forget Jabril Cox is coming. Hopefully
He definitely seems to have the right mentality. For a rookie to come off of spinal fusion surgery and return to football when it was believed that he would miss his rookie season; then get thrown into the fire, as a starter, as soon as he returned, due to an injury. This guy, with no training camp or preseason, did a great job! He definitely passed his trial by fire. Not to mention the speed he showed in the Bears game, chasing down Justin Fields.
Hate them or love them the cowboys defense are absolutely loaded now with pass rushers everywhere you look there's so many great players now on this Defense I think Dallas might have #1 defense this season or at least top 3 hands down no doubt they are loaded .
100%. Can’t wait to see how this new “texas coast” offense does. If it’s even a little bit better than Kellen Moore predictable calls we should be set for a good playoff run. Hopefully NFC championship at the very least
People have said he had a bad season but I don’t believe that at all. He had a good rookie season without even mentioning he missed the entire offseason and had neck surgery. With a full off-season to learn the defense, he will play fast. I think Clark will have a big year.
Only weakness for the most part in Clark's Game is not getting to play the entire season. Anthony Barr would have become a back up before Preseason ended.
We have a top 3 CB duo. Top 2 Edge rush Duo. and top 3 Safety trio. All on the same team. Now with Mazi and Hankins the run D will be solidified this is definitely the best defense in the league
Loved this guy's tape coming out of college. teams were scared away by a serious injury, but i knew he would be worth the risk. Just wish someone other than the Cowboys got him
I'll believe it when I see it because he was reallllllly bad last year. Don't even try to sugar coat it and it doesn't matter that he was coming off a neck injury. It is what it is and he sucked last year. We'll see if he can actually play at a starting NFL LB level this year but he was so bad and so lost last year I'm not holding my breath. Very poor assessment.
clark played crappy down the stretch... and it was even more noticeable when LVE was out. if he don't keep a starting spot this year... he won't ever. time is a fortune teller.

Think he'll hold off Overshown?
He had no off season and only played less than half of the 2022 season. Will be beast this year.

Him and Daron Bland

Man your breakdowns are top tier appreciate what you do for the community and you’re really tapped into your audience. Good stuff bro
Totally agree. Dude should be coaching (maybe he is, I don't know). As far as knowledge, I'd put him up there with Voch. It's top tier.

What's the long term solution at left guard?
@@whatever_it_takes6691 if left guard is your main worry in a team, that team is in great shape

Delusional af . He was an alright defender. If he can get better this year that would help but we did draft Overshown for a reason
The fact he came back as early as he did from his injury too, is special. This guy is def gonna take a year 2 leap. Can't wait to see it.
Excited to see Clark, Bland, and Cox expecting them to solidify the defense.
Bland already showed out early he is going to be nasty

Daron Bland was such a steal. On half these plays you see its him along with Clark splitting tackles.
I love bland dudes a baller.
He's the steal of last years draft
Along with Daron Bland
Nah. That’s Tariq Woolen for now.

Clarke was a projected first round pick last year. It was the injury that caused him to fall & it was a good pick up by Dallas.
He will become a top 15 LB
Believe it when I see it. We have 7 lbs. Would like to see one of them do something
Damone and DeMarvion could make things interesting

The Cowboys & Will McClay did an amazing job in getting gems like Clark & Bland late. This is our year baby!
Him and Sam Williams gonna have a big year
💯💯💯DClark is a very solid LB with much unreached upside💥💥💥

I’ve been a cowboys fan all my life. This Defense I believe has the potential to be there best ever!!!!! 💪🙏
Hey brotha great film breakdown and this young man is a blessing to this defense
Who is here
to follow up on this video after last night's Philly game? Let's go DCFL!!!
Grate analysis 👌
Great breakdown 👍
Dan Quinn don't miss on these picks
I just heard the same voice, but on a different channel on a cowboy channel the football scout and Dallas cowboy network are the same 😂
I think he'll be ok. I truly feel the surgery will have an effect on him. Sorta like Jaylon Smith
Where do you get this film...great job
Thank you for the video, it's appreciated!
Excellent

I love Damone Clark but he HAS! to change his NUMBER!! 33 is ROYALTY!!
He'll become Ray Lewis 2.0 first team all pro, dpoy
We have so many good players, I want to see Sam williams on the field more.
He's going to force at least 6 fumbles this season
Lol
Clark is really good a shedding blocks. I think he is going to be , if not a star, pretty damn good!!!
Saw tape that he freq got caught up in the wash or over pursued but hes got a high ceiling!
9:20 why don’t you see it as his responsibility. Think it was zone or Engram was the responsibility of the safety?
Clark needs to pay attention to his keys and then he’ll become a good linebacker and his upper body needs to get stronger
I feel he played well I just want to see him start thumping pads n hitting running backs or TEs. Strike that fear
I'd say Lve at Mike Clark at Sam and parsons at will...
Clark will replace LVE real soon
He gets off blocks better than vanderesch
Our defense is going to be elite. With the additions of our draft and the continual development from bland and Clark, I see something special brewing.
We have a top 3 CB duo. Top 2 Edge rush Duo. and top 3 Safety trio. All on the same team. Now with Mazi and Hankins the run D will be solidified this is definitely the best defense in the league
Do Isaiah land
Shouldn't be wearing #33 tho
#Dorsett
Its weird seeing 33 on defense, isn't it? But I like it. Seeing old numbers like 33, 12, or 54 reminds me of Cowboy greats.
He barely fills out his uniform!!
yep needs some peanut butter and hes gonna be a beast!
