Trying to get rid of that one flake of skin on your finger only for it to peel off almost all of your finger skin is probably the most painful thing in the world.

The worst pain ever...
I learned quite a bit about the pain of childbirth against something I had experienced myself. This came about through my sister of all people as she has had 2 children and at some point, she developed a gall bladder situation and had to have an operation. She said it was the worst pain she had ever had and that up until that point she thought childbirth was bad, her comment was that the pain of gallstones was worse. Well within a few months, I had gall stones myself and the pain was horrendous and worse than a kick in the nuts - done that as well! I went to hospital and was sent home to see my family doctor. I went yellow and had to tough it out for 3 days before I could get an appointment and was rushed into hospital and operated on as a matter of urgency. I never want to feel that level of pain again.
