I still have the cards from those two decks though the decks themselves have been long dismantled and the boxes thrown out.

OCG secret rare cards are TCG's prismatic secret rares (horizontal + vertical pattern thing). Also, one that is fairly new and casually seen: Extra Secret Rare. (since MEGA Pack 2015 or 2016... idk)

I never realized fully what makes the difference between super qnd ultra. I just looked at my pulls and ok this is shinier prettier and looks more valuable so its an ultra. I didnt even notice the name and they were all ultras. Thats some subliminal shit right there

The secret rare are called starlight rares now with the weird designs on them. Also I think since they don't guarantee anything per pack. If u buy a box of say genesis impact. U get 15 super rare and can get 15 above but yeah the starlight rare is still hard to get one per box

I have this card leviathan dragon. I pulled out of a galaxy eyes tin booster pack. And to this day have no clue what kind of rarity it is. It’s holographic is kind of matte and rough. And it actually has a texture to the halo graphic design where is you run your finger nail over it (I don’t recommend) you can feel the image of the card. I wish I can show a picture but I have no clue what it is and no one seems to talk about that version of halographic. Probably cuz it’s not that rare idk but it is cool and I’ve seen other cards like alexandrite dragon have them

By playing master duel, I understood one thing about these rarities, they don't really classify these are rarities as card rarity but foil types rarity, thus the true rarity of a card, or chance of getting a certain card, should be: rarity/chance of the card * rarity/chance of the foil, thus making the things even more complex that what the video implied
I'll keep my vanguard rarirties thank you very much C (Common) R (Single Rare) RR (Double) RRR (Triple) SP (Special Parallel) GR/LR (Generation/Legion) SCR (Secret) SGR (Secret Generation) VR (Vanguard) SVR (Secret Vanguard) IR (Image) Some of these dont exist anymore (SCR, SGR, LR and soon GR) but they're easier to understand and are even shown at the bottom corner of the card after the set number (it had to be this way since older cards didn't change art in alternate rarities and it wasn't until a Certain point that higher rarity cards had transparent text boxes and no flavor text) so you don't need a guide to know what rarity your cards are since they're spelled out for you on them

This year i brought a box with 100 random Yugioh cards in it at an Anime Convention and in this box was an "The Fiend Megacyber" card from Battle pack 2 and while looking at this card in a wiki i found out that it was supposed to be a "rare" which confused me because the card had black text.

Some of these dont exist anymore (SCR, SGR, LR and soon GR) but they're easier to understand and are even shown at the bottom corner of the card after the set number (it had to be this way since older cards didn't change art in alternate rarities and it wasn't until a Certain point that higher rarity cards had transparent text boxes and no flavor text) so you don't need a guide to know what rarity your cards are since they're spelled out for you on them
Oh yeah how i hate how Konami fucks with the Colors. This year i brought a box with 100 random Yugioh cards in it at an Anime Convention and in this box was an "The Fiend Megacyber" card from Battle pack 2 and while looking at this card in a wiki i found out that it was supposed to be a "rare" which confused me because the card had black text.
