TBH, to have H100 in your system, you have to use a server or a workstation. Approved server from the list of servers approved by Nvidia. So, like Dell PowerEdge R750xa or something. And it's NOT cheap. I am (was) a pre-sale engineer, I have created a spec for one, so I know what is going on.

I kinda do the same (not on her level of course), I don't mind inviting my friends to a nice dinner even if it costs like $500, or buy someone a game if they want it. The point of sponsorships is to create more demand to help move more product. Nvidia is in the position where they literally cannot produce enough product for the demand they have, which is partly why the price is so high. Doing a sponsorship for the h100/h200 is just burning money. I also doubt they would see it as a worthwhile return on investment to give him one of those cards for the adverts on their gaming cards.

Think data center GPU thing the normal cost is around 30k USD for 1 but it is the version that is made for rackmount as the cooler will not work with a desktop case. There is NVLink, very similar.
It is exactly like that, a model can be sharded across many gpu's to get more memory space for longer context for example.

But given he's gonna stream Neuro indefinitely, and that Neuro will probably soon consume more H100s, the cost of renting might catch up real fast.
