You should really watch Seven Samurai a few more times. There are several things that are not quite as you are stating them. Besides, as all who study this film (like all major filmmakers) know, the more you watch it, the more nuances you get and the better it gets. A better film has yet to be made.

Hello, thank you for your response! I have to be honest, I have really bad anxiety and reviewing Seven Samurai was really difficult. I know how beloved it is, and I also knew I would probably forget certain aspects of it or get some things wrong. I really do love this movie, I gave it a 10 out of 10 and stated it would for sure be in my top 5 after I finish this Rotten Tomato list. I will take you up on your suggestion and rewatch it. I really did try to do it as much justice as I could. Thank you again!

@@madmoviemark My apologies if I added to your anxiety in any way. That was not my intent. I simply meant to add that the more you watch this film, the better you understand it and the better it gets. It never gets boring. And that's one of its greatest strength and why it's so studied. How in the world did Kurosawa manage to make a film that never bores even for a second. How does he keep your total attention for 3 and half hours and make it feel like a 2 hour modern film. Of course, this is not a film to watch when you have a million things going on. You need to put your phone down and everything else away and give it your full attention.
It's available for purchase on Blu-ray high definition digital format from echo systems like Amazon, which makes it all the easier to watch. And it's also currently available on HBO Max.
