I used this idea today in my 4th grade class to review multiplying fractions. My kids LOVED it! It was such a fun and engaging way to get students to show their knowledge of fractions. I loved seeing them work together and help each other out when their team mates were struggling.

Here’s an idea: the chemical change cafe. Bring in a griddle (a student can bring one from home too) for each group. Explain that cooking something is a chemical change because once it is cooked it can’t become raw again. A physical change is when something changes physically and all that Jazz. Have them make pancakes, melt things, and other stuff that includes physical and chemical changes

    Michelle ,
My best tip is always demonstrate don't frustrate . Instead of telling what you are teaching , show what you are teaching in a way that the students can align what you are doing with them with what they see and/or will see outside of the school or even the educational environment
so way to go with the Math Bakery !!
    Keep it up beautiful !
