My fourth grade self would have absolutely LOVED to have you as a teacher😍 you go above and beyond and are super engaging 💙 I hope I can do the same for my future students😊
Michelle!! I remember watching your math bakery video last year as a student teacher and thinking that it would be super fun if I ended up in 4th grade... and now here I am as a 4th grade teacher! Thank you for inspiring me to try this with my learners. 😊
You are such an amazing teacher. This is such a cool activity. People don’t realize how long something like this takes to prepare for. You can tell you care so much! I’m sure your students had a blast learning with this lesson!
I am subbing for 3 weeks for a 4th grade class who are coincidently working on and reviewing fractions. I love, love, love fun, hands on, real world activities especially the whole creating an atmosphere part. You have inspired me to do something fun for math as well as social studies. 😃
This is the type of teacher that has kids come back and say 'thank you' many years after they've left. Teachers like this, change lives. Bless you for your hard work!
I used this idea today in my 4th grade class to review multiplying fractions. My kids LOVED it! It was such a fun and engaging way to get students to show their knowledge of fractions. I loved seeing them work together and help each other out when their team mates were struggling.
@@RM-pk8bw Perhaps....Michelle Williams is a rather common name, though! :) Regardless, I'm sure your teacher thoroughly enjoys helping you learn and grow!
I love how you are always happy and excited when something happens, even when your class is crazy then your up and happy agian. I love baking you always have time to spend time with your class
I am also a math teacher but teaching 1st and 2nd graders. I want to do a transformation in my class and this was very helpful. Thank you for the video, very fun and interesting way of teaching 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Going to be editing and adapting this for my grade 1/2 split. Currently working on addition and subtraction and word problems. Will be a bit of work but my kiddos are going to love this! Thank you Michelle :) . You are an amazing teacher. I always come to your videos when I am feeling low. All your tips and tricks have saved me as a first year teacher.
I’m in college to become a teacher and right now I’m learning how to teach fractions!!! This is such an amazing idea and I’m totally going to do this when I get my classroom!! Love you Michelle! ❤️
I am already imagining how am I going to apply this *baker training* strategy in my English class. I'm an 8th grade English teacher and I have watched your videos since June last year and I found everything inspirational and engaging! You are a great teacher, Miss Ferre! 😘
I love watching your math bakery videos and this one was awesome! What a great way to get your students engaged and excited about learning an otherwise (in my opinion) boring topic! You’re an inspiration to me! 💗💗
Thank you so much!!! I am so happy that this is available> I am planning to do something like this as we review/prepare for testing> I can't say how amazing this is.YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!!!!!
Girl I am in love with this idea, I will definitely be using this in my classroom. Thank you, I appreciate all of your hard work! Just bought it on TpT❤️
My teacher does something simalir ti this my 6th grade reading teacher turns her classroom into a coffe shop and we get snacks drinks and share out porty also love ur vids😁
Here’s an idea: the chemical change cafe. Bring in a griddle (a student can bring one from home too) for each group. Explain that cooking something is a chemical change because once it is cooked it can’t become raw again. A physical change is when something changes physically and all that Jazz. Have them make pancakes, melt things, and other stuff that includes physical and chemical changes
Hey Mrs.Ferre I just wanted to say that you are so inspiring, sweet, caring, generous, and nice. You deserve so much more subscribers and have a wonderful day and keep doing what your doing.😊😁👍😃
Same here I’m a first year kindergarten teacher and when I watch this last year when I was a student teacher and I love it so I been trying to think about how can I do this for kindergarten
I want to become a teacher in the near future hopefully I’ll be able to teach at my old elementary school I’ve been watching your videos finding fun ways to teach like how many of the other teachers did as well
+Pocketful of Primary Michelle , My best tip is always demonstrate don't frustrate . Instead of telling what you are teaching , show what you are teaching in a way that the students can align what you are doing with them with what they see and/or will see outside of the school or even the educational environment so way to go with the Math Bakery !! Keep it up beautiful ! - Dwight
Dear,Michelle Have you heard of the 9 times trick for you fingers? If you have not i will tell you how to do it. So say you have 9×5 you take your fifth finger and put it down. They your left side is you tens and you right side is you ones
Hi Michelle! I was wondering if you had the time if you could do a video on differentiating for both higher and lower students (i.e. materials, implementing). I’m still on the newer side to teaching and always struggle with this. If anyone else also has suggestions please comment! :)
Great engaging lesson! I’m curious how you determined which group of students started at which station? In other words, how did you decide which group of students would start at the most challenging station? Did you time each station?
I love how fun and engaging this is. And I love that the product is editable because I teach 3rd grade. Just a random question for you, what do you use on your bulletin boards? Is it black felt or material or paper? I like how clean it looks with the white and bright coloured bordette.
I'm a kid! I'm in fourth grade! I would love this! This would be so fun because I like math , but it's could be a little hard! I want to be a teacher when I'm older!
I’m only 13 but this channel is why I want to become a 2nd grade math teacher!(you teach 3rd) I pretend to teach my empty room ALOT!! And I have a 2 year old brother now so I can teach him!!
Michelle, is there a reason why you gave the unit a “face lift”? Both versions, this and from last year, suit different purposes and classroom structures! PS I’m a high school teacher from Australia 🇦🇺 who just loves your passion.... and perfectionism, can relate!
Marvelous activity! We are just going into multiplying fractions by a whole number what a great resource to have in my files. Question: Michele do you create your handouts on Google Slides and how do you get the perfect clip art? FYI my positive pants are always on I wish my colleagues were. Have an awesome week at school!
You are so inspiring for me. I can't what to be a teacher when I'm older you give me so many ideas for the future. I just love your channel I watch it every day all the time thanking for everything you do. P.S I'm not the person on the photo
Brena Gauland Hi!!! I hope that you’re doing well! I have a quick question: how do you do your “slides” in between the clips? (1:08) Also, how did you make everything!? That probably sounds so weird. 😂😂😂 Thank you!
My fourth grade self would have absolutely LOVED to have you as a teacher😍 you go above and beyond and are super engaging 💙 I hope I can do the same for my future students😊

I’m in college to become a teacher and right now I’m learning how to teach fractions!!! This is such an amazing idea and I’m totally going to do this when I get my classroom!! Love you Michelle! ❤️
I loved this last year and loved it even more this year.

Yes! My favorite classroom transformation you’ve done! ✋🏻 ❤️Aaron
I am doing this with my first grade students. Thank you for the great ideas.
Love this!! And I will be adding the props and fancy things cause I’m all about romancing the ordinary, especially for my boy whom I homeschool ❤️
Love how creative you are!! I wish I had a teacher like this when I was younger because I probably would have enjoyed math more!
I am already imagining how am I going to apply this *baker training* strategy in my English class. I'm an 8th grade English teacher and I have watched your videos since June last year and I found everything inspirational and engaging! You are a great teacher, Miss Ferre! 😘

Thank you so much!!! I am so happy that this is available> I am planning to do something like this as we review/prepare for testing> I can't say how amazing this is.YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!!!!!
Great lesson, I wonder if you used paper table clothes that students could write on to solve the problems.
