I'm waiting for the Moonlite Elite, at 18oz/526g same reclines, but the stuff sack serves double duty as the foot pad so the chair feet won't sink in sand or soft ground 👍
@@thisguy7201 it shouldn't be too hard to make a bag to protect ur gear from the dirt or strap it on the outside, or seperate the chair from the dirty pad?
@@thisguy7201 I just bought the Moonlite chair (not the elite). I'm going to test using a sandbag as a pad - it's lightweight, but I might reinforce where the feet make contact by using duck tape. Thinking of storing the sandbag in a ziploc bag in case it gets dirty.
I have the Nemo Moonlite chair and I love it. I ended up getting a super lightweight Hilltops Packs sack to replace the one that came with it and it fits easily into one of the side pockets of my backpack. Great review!
Great Review! Few questions if you don't mind; what is your height and weight and how do you find this chair for comfort on your knees and legs as far as sitting for a long time, say, 1 hour plus? Thanks!
That chair has a nice wide seat and works for a variety of body types. Both of us have no issues sitting in the chair for extended periods of time (slouching or sitting up).
Thank you so much! Just deciding on this version or the elite. I kinda like this older version better as the feet are wider and the adjustment straps look more substantial and robust over the elites’ little cord style ones.
One quick question, please, comparing Nemo Moonlite and Helinox Zero - which one is less intrusive for hamstrings? which allows more natural position with legs streching forward?
Haven’t had an issue with either of the chairs with our hamstrings. But Kelli really likes the Moonlite and finds it fits more like a regular chair, easier to stretch her legs. 😁
@@ExploreTrekAdventure Thank you for quick response. But sitting on both, which gives more perpendicular "wooden ruler" like pressure on the back part of the thighs, on hamstrings?
The Zero has more give or flexibility to it, where as the Moonlite has more of a stiff feel. Probably closer to the wooden ruler feel. If my legs are stretched out I feel that seam more in the Moonlite under the back of the legs.
Happy to find your video, Not sure which one to buy, don’t care much about weight as I lifting 200 pounds so 1,8 wouldn’t be much of issue 😜! But I do need your help I am 6’3” 210 which one is higher from the ground? What is your hight ? What do you recommend? Thanks!
We think the Moonlite is a bit taller in the seat off the ground. I am 6ft and we both choose the Moonlite as our first choice if weight isn’t an issue. It is a very stable & comfortable chair.
Have one and love it. Won't self destruct when I sit in it.
Good review thanks I have the chair I tried many others this was the most comfortable
Just ordered one. Hoping I just found my new turkey hunting chair

The Moonlite Elite sounds like a cool chair.
Also waiting on the Moonlight Elite, wish there was more info floating around about it. I know a few youtubers have prototypes of it.
I actually don't prefer the elite version. I find that the pad gets really dirty and hard to clean when you put it in your pack

Nice! We will check out sack option from Hilltop Packs.
I went and sat on one of these and liked it. Very hard to get over the price.
Excellent review though, thanks.
Glad it was helpful. 😀
I got one and love it, the quality blows Helinox and other competitors completely out of the water
We think Helinox makes great chairs as well.

I’m looking at both of these right now. I’m a big boy and I really like the Nemo more but the Helinox holds more weight. 😢
Helinox makes great chairs as well.
This is what u show ur buddy to justify the purchase
