2:10 Jimmy Page says Procol Harum was one of the best bands out there, which is awesome to hear, because Procol Harum is one of the most underrated bands ever. Nice to hear that Jimmy is a fan.
It sounds like Molly Meldrum to me. He's not active any more as such, but his history in music interviews is substantial. As shown here - ua-cam.com/video/t0XglU6-Sjs/v-deo.html
Perth show was magnificent and I was only a kid at 15 and hit me like a ton of bricks.Never heard so much power literally ringing in the air. That power !!!! 45 years ago and still nothing beats it !!!
Hi Paul If you have any memorabilia from the Perth show please let me know as I would love to buy or get a copy of it. Wish I could have been there, can’t believe they once came to my home town!
Yeah, I was there and the sound did ring through that concrete stadium, l dont think I'll ever forget the opening bars of Heartbreaker i felt it through my body. it was an autumn night and people down past Claremont could hear it..
There's a bloke at my work who says he was there at the Perth show when he was an early teen He was surprised coz I'm 27 and blaring Zeppelin at work I was born in the suburb of Subiaco 😁
I can see back in the 70’s Robert Plant and his wife Maureen Plant going to a party and the doorman who announces the guests as they enter the party saying: Mr. and Mrs. Led and Lizzie Zeppelin! Hahahahahaha good show I say…good show! 😛😝😜🤪😎🥳🤘🏻🤟🏻
turnleftaticeland Okay, so the first voice is Jimmy. He does most of this interview. Later, he asks Robert to answer a question. Then Jimmy carries on answering. At one point, John Paul Jones answers something, then Jimmy does. Then Plant answers a question about "Friends" from the third LP. Then the interview ends.
Jimmy has such a beautiful voice.
I'd never heard him speak so much till post-Zepp.
It makes me relax
IMAGINE Jimmy calling you to meet up somewhere for tea, and calling you "love" with a soft-spoken voice like that!?!

@@farfellleeMitch Mitchell of the Jimi Hendrix Experience does it 1000 times more
It just seems like a posh english dialect which was in back then
Every interview Jimmy does he sounds like a teenager
3:20 Jimmy's got it right. Atmosphere is very very important, maybe the most important thing.
jimmy has such a precious voice..
they both had really pleasant speaking voices when they were young. i could listen to them talk all day.
There was three of them. JPJ was there too.
6:03 I keep going back to this to hear Robert talk Welsh :)
He's the best interviewer I think any band could hope for

Leigh Ivin - it ain’t molly meldrum. I don’t know who it is but it’s not him. It’s obviously some guy from Perth rock radio from the time.
Holly McGowan HE DID HOLLY AMAZING QUESTIONS HE DID EXCELLENT FOR A EXCELLENT GROUP ✊🏾

it's still hard to imagine how bad MOST interviews/interviewers are. This is a rare good one. No wonder Jimmy/Zep hated press, they're terrible.
The Year I Was Born 1972 Yaaay!!! I Can Listen To My Babies Talk Allll Day ✊🏾
Jimmy's voice 🥰😍
"it glowed even more when we were there."
Lookit Plant flexin' his Welsh skillz
I still like "Living Loving Maid", it's a good rock song!
How could Jimmy not like "Living Loving Maid"!!!? I LOVE THAT SONG. One of my favorites from Led Zeppelin II.
I think it was a very poppy song and I dont think he wrote the guitar parts.
Who could have written the guitar parts if Jimmy didn't? I don't care who wrote the guitar parts, I still love it!
John paul Jones came up with good times and black dog so he may have written living loving.
OK. I love that song. I love anything Led Zeppelin makes.
Can’t have heartbreaker without it!!!
Living Living Maid kicks ass, especially following Heart Breaker.
6:48 TO 6:50 JIMMY’S LAUGH 😂😂 SO CUTE
3:08 I see this dude listened to Stairway To Heaven. Am impressed. How did ever hear about since most radio never played it.
You being sarcastic?

Digging up the grave of that Lab and playing a cover version on drums using the bones of that dog would bring back the spirit of John Bonham.
Brilliant

What's the second song, Jimmy?! 3:39
I don’t think he says a second one. He says “apart from that everything is sort of a pattern”, I believe.
Why is wwii music in the background?
Robert has such a beautiful voice.
