As an older and tall (6’ 3”) camper, one thing I have found is that there should be a taller option for some of these cots as it makes it easier to get out of the cot in the morning or even when taking an afternoon nap. I have an extra large and long cot, but it is only 17” tall which makes it a little difficult to get up from as I have arthritis in the knees and back. We older folks do enjoy tent camping from time to time, and we also like camping accessories that make it easier for us to enjoy the hobby.
I should have also mentioned that these cots should be a minimum of 20” tall or taller and at least 6’ 6” long and hold up to 300lbs. for us taller/bigger folks (I am 250 lbs. and my cot supports up to 300 lbs.). I have also used this cot at home for guests up to 6” 4” tall.
