It is 2024 now and I am 77 years old and this song by the BeeGees still gives me the goosebumps and still tugs my heart string with nostalgic memories when I first heard the song playing in the jukebox in one of our Suva City restaurants way back about 60 years ago in 1967.
Difficult to hear It in '67, it came from the Film and Album "Cucumber Castle" from 1970. Robin had left at this point and it was just Barry and Maurice. It was where Maurice met Lulu before he married her.
Our brother was the No 1 Bee Gees Fan. Sadly he gained his wings Feb. 16th, just 6 months after our Sister. This song was played at his funeral. I miss him so so much, just like our sister. I will never forget to remember. 💙❤️

The memories will always be there but the pain, you'll learn to live by it until one day you will not feel anymore... Pray pray pray( as a believer) and do not be left alone. If you have grandchildren they can help you in your journey of healing. At anytime you feel like crying or shouting, do it . Don't control your emotions. 😻😻

When I was young, my dad used to take me, my brothers and my sisters to the movies at our parish hall and this is where I heard and got to like The Bee Gees. They became a group associated with that time my life. It brought back and it still brings back very very fond memories. I love their songs and as I grew up, they have remained always as a part of my life, as music is something I love very much and they have remained a part of it until this day.
This is the most beautiful, emotion-laden love song ever. To me it brings everything back. Whatever the reasons for the break-up, some relationships stay forever and this is sublimely expressed here and the Bee Gee's voices! It also brings back my youth.

I’ve never truly got over it and other relationships didn’t work out because I always compared them to what I had. I ruined my because of it. I am 57 and now sit at home with no one to keep me company. Please try and get on with your life , don’t let it eat you up please. Don’t let her ruin your life like I ruined mine.

I'm in my mid 50's now. I loved this song hearing it occasionally in the FM band in the 70's though as a kid I didn't understand the meaning. It even got more meaning to me now that a number of people I have been associated with are already gone.

When I was young, my dad used to take me, my brothers and my sisters to the movies at our parish hall and this is where I heard and got to like The Bee Gees. They became a group associated with that time my life. It brought back and it still brings back very very fond memories. I love their songs and as I grew up, they have remained always as a part of my life, as music is something I love very much and they have remained a part of it until this day.
