Thanks for sharing this. As as small feedback, video interview volume was pretty low, I wanted to go back and repeat the whole video and blasted my ears because volume was at max trying to hear the interview.
Hi Natasha ! Thanks for this insightful video , quick question what would you recommend for payment option if the recruiter is based in Canada and let’s say recruit for a US based company? Just starting out don’t have a business account set up would appreciate if u could help ,
Thanks for the comment and congratulations on starting your recruiting business. Starting by consulting with your banker when you set up your business account is the best option, however, IMO you should consider accepting payment in USD and offer international bank wire as the payment option. This option does come with higher fees and take a little longer, however, it is typically secure and provides a low level of risk and high level of financial compliance. Provide clear instructions, including SWIFT codes and IBAN, to ensure smooth transactions. If the associated fees are problematic, you can also consider allowing credit cards, so you would just need to set up with a service like Stripe or even PayPal. I hope this is helpful.
Thanks! It really is a powerful concept to explore with your prospects. It can open their eyes to the hidden costs of the status quo and be a better comparison to the value you can provide as a staffing partner.
It's tough out there, but keep pushing and adapting to the market changes. It's important to realize that in most tough markets, there are parts of the economy that do well, and parts that don't. You need to think differently about finding the companies that are positioned to thrive in a challenging market because they will need to fill roles to grow. As an example, tech jobs in AI are in high demand and the demand is increasing, while tech jobs in other specialties are declining a bit....and it wasn't that long ago that those jobs were growing in demand. Hope this helps!
Hi! Are there any social media outlets in which we could approach the two guests? I’d like to ask more questions about the “Examples of a Good Sales Cadence”. For the meantime, could anyone advise me on what type of information should be included for “Day 2: LinkedIn Connection”? I don’t want to sound repetitive with what I already said in the voice message and email. Lastly, most people I’ve found on linkedIn only give me the option to “Follow”, that’s why I think it’d be beneficial to send a short message. Thank you!!
Thanks for the comment! Jon and Erika are both very active on LinkedIn and I would encourage you to connect with them there. I would suggest that during the LinkedIn connection, you're not trying to sell, really just trying to find a commonality that warrants being connected. Industry is a great place to start, attending the same school or being in the same LinkedIn groups or having similar connections are also good references. Keep it concise and genuine and not salesy, and you should be fine.
I wish this was longer . VALUEABLE information!
We agree! Jon and Erika do a great job breaking down the fundamentals for selling staffing services.

Yea, Jon and Erika are excellent and have tremendous experience, glad you enjoyed!
That was really decent and have passed on to my team thank you
Awesome, thanks for sharing with your team!
Oh my goodness me! This is absolutely amazing! I was hoping you'd share your slides 😊.
Thanks, I'd have to defer to Jon and Erika on that.
focused and dedicated effort...
We completely agree! The more focused and dedicated you are to your outreach the better your chances for success are.

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate you letting me know about the volume issue. I’ll definitely work on improving that for future videos!

Focus on getting the prospect to the next step in the process rather than trying to close the deal on the first interaction
That is great advice because that will show you truly understand what the client needs and the value you provide.
Cost of Inactivity…genius

I am running an employment agency in Canada, started it 2 years ago: It is kind of getting hard bc of lack of jobs ; what are your thoughts on that?

We are a recruitment Agency in East Africa. How can I connect with you personally
If you are trying to connect with Jon or Erika, I would recommend reaching out directly on LinkedIn. They are very receptive and welcome connections!
