I remember when I saw Karise on the voice audition. I turned to my wife and said, "if she doesn't win this thing, I am never watching another talent show as long as I live".
Well, we all know what happened. Karise Eden is the most unique vocal talent to happen in the modern age. I get chills all over when her gravel timbre hits certain notes. She is a true Australian treasure.

Normal public listeners don't know diamond from hard glass....but she's a celebrity alright....all singers quite bow their heads in respect when she sings. She's in a niche world ..where greats bow to the true greats which is unseen by the common listener.
the business around The Voice is quite bad for getting singers out to the world, & full of a lot of the negative parts of both the music industry & the television industry in general, getting really big out of there is generally something which occurs years after if people sustain through the mess & can build a big audience from there.
and then there is Justin Fucker. Mariah Shitty, Edgy McEllish, Lil Cunt and shitty giberrish rappers.

if anyone is listening to this and wondering if the album is worth buying, i'd say it is 100%. This isnt even my type of music, i'm more of an EDM guy - but this is a well made album with wicked, wicked vocals.

I am not a youngster and I absolutely LOVE your music. You are an old soul and it is evident that you have been through much pain. I loved each time you practiced with Seal on The Voice because he believed in you so much and knew how darn right GENUINE you are, sweet girl. Probably because it is because I am old, but I loved the way you looked on The Voice. I just can't get into purple hair and tattoos...but honestly I am not judging you, just stating my humble opinion. But I am not here to talk about your appearance, but your voice, not only that but the way you enunciate each word so emphatically; your guitar-playing, and lyrics to words. I will definitely will be listening to you for the rest of my life, however long it is....
