Why didn't you change the larger belt at the same time? I'm having to change my timing belt on my 1987 Ford 1800 deisel (none turbo) can't get a mechanic to do it as the engine is in a boat, can you give me any further advice? I've watched your vid and it looks easy enough to change. TIA

Tbh I very rarely do em without the tensioner but put the new one on on at it was faulty!😖 had to reuse the old one temporarily 👍

this is just the pump belt, some of the engines have a wet belt & some are a chain, they are located behind the lower cover, crank to fuel pump
