Beautiful city. I visited Lebanon in 2019 and Beirut offers the best night life best food. What I like most that the sea is very close to the mountains so skiing is available in winter until the spring. Qadisha Valley is magical.
Either early in the morning, or because of the government not taking care of the area, they don’t want anything to open except the most luxurious stores and the rent prices are too high (The shops are closed, most probably morning)

Now Lebanon is at war, I don't believe that Lebanon will be like this again, local politics has never thought about the people, but about its interests, the people are sovereign, the people should never be afraid of politics, but of chaos and war purposely created specifically for destabilization, the war contains cruelty, massacre, what should be done to prevent it?
Beirut is way better than Paris which became a chaotic third world capital. Beirut has longer and richer history, better weather, nicer people, tastier and healthier food.

Tehran used to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but to be honest nothing compares to Beirut.
