Lyrics:
Sleepless in Seattle, I couldn’t find a better name for this
If idle hands make devil’s work, maybe we should
build a church just so we can burn it down
‘Cause every bar in this city reminds me of somebody now
If I get drunk at 12th and Union,
whose street will I go wandering down
So I don’t want to go home
I don’t want to go home
Brian’s on a barstool, talking to his tall can again
All that acid in the 90’s, he said it made a man out of him
All his LA friends got married, a wife,
a house, a couple kids
He’s just trying to keep the dream alive
and if it dies then he and I
just might die right along with it
So I don’t want to go home
I don’t want to go home
Where it’s just half finished skyscrapers
begging the question
Does anyone care anymore?
This city was built on the back of a spirit
that I can’t feel anymore
Maybe there’s a new anger or a new seed
for some younger farmer to sow
But right now it feels like last call on New Year’s Eve
And the bar tender is telling me to go
But I don’t want to go home
I don’t want to go home
the most underrated Artist in the World PERIOD !! My wife and i listen to your music always together .....1 of the rare things we still do.....thanks Noah. All the best to you from Switzerland
Nice… us too!
.
Exactly. It’s crazy because on one hand I want him to hit that level of recognition so he can make all the money he can….but on the other hand I’m selfishly happy he belongs to the ppl that care the most about his music. Anyone I’ve ever met that actually knows his music is very passionate about it and I LOVE that. Such great music. Helped me through a lot of darkness.
This soul connects with the souls of the lost and lonely and the souls of the rich who are desperately trying to find the truth in their continual search for happiness.
I came across your version of Counting Crows. I'm a 59 year old guy, still competitive sport wise, and you brought me to tears. You have to be one of the most emotional performers I have seen so far. I shared your video with my mother. Her first comment was ' He reminds me of a young Bruce Springsteen.
Keep it going. You are fantastic. Please come to Cape Town, South Africa. We'd love to see you here.

Felt, too hard, by a musician who is disenfranchised with the music scene in my hometown.
God knows he's being truthful with how it is in Seattle these days. It's less an art town and more a business town, and I'm very uncomfortable here now.
I just discovered this amazing artist. speechless.
I don’t care what anyone says, Noah Gundersen is a folk music legend. He should tour with Fleetwood Mac!! He is worthy of standing in for Lindsay Buckingham.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Thank you
My wife and I took our first road trip through the PNW this year and ended up in Seattle. This song makes me feel like I've lived there. What a brilliant lyricist you are. Can't wait to see a show if you ever make your way down to the central valley/bay area of California.
Noah is legend. Sings with heart! My dream is to open for him in LA and perform this with him. Hopefully this song. Saw him and Phoebe opened. Best show. He Has has has such an influence in my songwriting. Guy is off the charts talented.
Listen to this song makes me miss my hometown it makes me miss the smell of coffee on every street corner I miss the live music and it kills me to see what the place I grew up looks like now
Since Garden and Family your music is that one thing that I share with every single human that I know. Keep doing this Noah. Love and the best wishes from Dominican Republic.
I found this album randomly while painting my house and I've been listening nonstop for weeks now!
ua-cam.com/video/ajvQ9xY3_CM/v-deo.html Joe, you gotta listen to that one. I don't usually rip songs, but after hearing it when it was released, I had to find a way to get it because at the time it was only here on YT.
@@wccrispy oooh thats a good one!
@@JoeNielsen44 yeah, it's amazing
Making songs from the soul, singing from the heart!
I’m honestly obsessed with your music . See you in Manchester 🤘🏻
Great song, and a amazing commentary on not just Seattle, but the world as we know it. We are living in troubled times.
Wine+Noah=❤️
Best artist (or I should say poet) ever existed
Real music.
thanks for sharing your soul .... beautiful
ngl noah introduced me to a different version of myself. not many musicians can do that.
Noah... you are the perfect combination of perfect voice and amazing performance, you can transfer your emotions to the audience, emotions that overwhelm us, and we thank you for that.
Can't go a day without listening to your music music noah your amazing mate 👌
I don't think you're supposed to be this flawless live. Like...who did you sell your soul to in order to be such an amazing musician on all fronts?
Beauty! Beautiful! Gorgeous!
Noah,
Got to see you in Nashville this evening. It was so cool to see you live. I’ve treasured your music for around 10 years now. Thankful for you, and wish you the best.
Absolutely beautiful
one of my favorite artist
Thanks for your music Noah. Greetings from Spain
Come on home!
Absolutely the best!
I love your voice and style. It is so true. Cheers ❤️
Hi feom Portugal! Your music is a part of the best part of my life! Pure emotion! Thank you
I have seen two of your concerts in Seattle and walked up to you after the last concert and thanked you for helping me get through the pandemic with your music. I would really love to learn how to play sleepless in Seattle the way you are playing it here. Is there any way you could do a quick tutorial with a focus on the right-hand picking. I can manage the chords but the hammer-ons and pull-offs are just beautiful, and I can't seem to master the picking pattern. The tablature I see on ultimate guitar isn't quite right.
Love his music
dude you're so good. just a huge inspiration all around
Amazing!
Such a beautifully-written song. Thank you Noah!
Wonderful! Hello from Denmark :)
Every time you go back to your acoustic vibe S&L/Family type of feeling YOU DON'T MISS! Love from 🇧🇷 btw

Caralho Phil... Aí tu destrói o negão 😢
Canta pá carai
Anyone able to identify the pencil mic?? Sony 800 on vocals, looks like a u87 on acoustic, but what is the small condenser? Looks a little long to be a nuemann or beyerdynamic?
Noah, hello from Russia bro!!!!
Классно знать, что я не один такой)
@@samedelman5187 Я тоже рад что я не один кому нравится песни этого музыканта, я из Екатеринбурга!!!

You said a mouthful.
Exactly why I left Seattle. It's not the city I grew up in anymore, maybe a good thing.
