What I like about HT’s glitter polishes is that they use multiple sizes of holo hex glitters so it doesn’t look too uniform or chunky, so I’m happy to see one with a shifty shimmer from the brand
It’s nice to see a cohesive 3 polish collection with 3 different finishes. It shows effort. I’m with you about holo glitter - indie brands have moved way away from glitter. But sometimes glitter is just nice.
i really like this trio and i’m happy with what got voted on by the holo royalty! i’m half disappointed though that these polishes aren’t crazy unique and fairly easy to dupe. though, that’s also a little bit of a blessing so people don’t suffer from fomo!! PS one of the scrapped ideas was a forest green frosted metal with GOLD scattered holo in it! cris hinted that some ideas might be reused one day so maybe there’s still hope😭 (also potentially a gold scattered holo taco coming up???)
These are gorgeous!! 💜 I'm glad Cristine never gave up on the frosted metals formula, because they're just stunning. I always get compliments when I wear them, even if it's just an accent shade on one nail. I'm definitely picking these up.
Love your swatches and bottle shots 🤩 they all look so good on you Caitlin! I really like Glamethyst on one coat too, it makes a really nice but full coverage topper. I love the shimmer in it too even though I thought it was a little subtle, but I would loveee to see more shimmery shades from HT 🤩
OMG that's what toe beans means the cat toes LoL I never heard the word before and I worked in a vet clinic with a ton of cats going in and out, we never called them toe beans I need to share that.

I'm hopeful that this will encourage HT to get into more complex finishes. I realise that their overarching thing is layering toppers to create something new, but there's definitely something to be said for creating cool standalone nail polishes (why we love indies!)

I use holo taco top coat all the time and i like it :) it can get gloopy but you can just add thinner. For glitter if you don’t want to use peely base I recommend using soak off clips you can get them cheap, I found out about them from Nicole Loves Nails
Yes! The soak off clips were such a game changer for me because peely base will not stay for more than a couple hours. I wear glitters and frosted metals a lot more because of that. It makes removal so easy. In fact I use it for regular polishes that have a lot of pigment.

I had convinced myself I didn't need these, even though Amethyst is my birthstone and I love purple. That is until I saw your swatches! They're too beautiful to pass up. When I saw Toe Beans with your camera flash, I was done for! Great swatches as always!

It looks different enough from glitterly purple. I ended up getting the entire collection and I look forward to trying them. I'm most excited about Royal Crush and Toe Beans. They look so beautiful.

The cuticula top coat is doing the same thing my seche vite top coat which leaves like a thread, and I do not know how to fix it. Love the Holo Taco Royalty Trio, already bought and it just arrived. For clarification, the pink holo isn't it inspired by cats, the glitter isn't inspired by gemstones, etc. All of these polishes were created using detailed polled data of Holo Taco rewards members. The polishes were also named by those members, after seeing the prototypes.
This collection didn't really do anything for me, but I am not a fan of purple. I did order Toe Beans as it's a pretty pale holo pink, but the rest of them are just not for me.

Color Club's "Cloud Nine" is similar to "Toe Beans".

The glitter formula is my absolute favorite from HT! I love them. I wish there was a royal blue one. Hopefully, she'll make more for the holodays.

You can buy a product called Seche Vite restore and thin it back out a bit :) you could also try regular polish thinner
