Great video. Just saw LA's response and I'm gonna jump on this for sure. ....and yeah, you were right. She's On It was in the Krush Groove. The Disco Fever contest lol.
Great video. The Brian Green album is excellent. I have it on cd. The only 10'' vinyl i own is the same as yours - Oxygen. Keep the videos coming. 🤣👍🎧🎵
Needed this in my life. Let’s gooooo!! Appreciate the shout out and the call out. I’m definitely participating in this one. You showed some dope records as usual.
Wasn't familiar with that MC Groove 12". Had a listen on YT, very nice! MC Richie Rich is a cool thing to own. Incidentally the DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince LP had a different cover on the UK pressing as well. Enjoyed your video...cheers Nige
@@allthingsdarrelld i have tons of musical knowledge but only about half a dozen vinyl records. i was around a lot of 12" records decades ago but it's fascinating to see what matters to you after doing this for a similar time frame. i watched you about a year ago but didn't have a name to go back to. this time it's easy: the same name i have!
Dope video about the Rap vinyl Tag... you showed great records.... I love too much "Mc Groove - it's gets better"...I hope a day in my life to find a copy...
Darrell that was a dope Rap Vinyl Tag and thanks for the shout outs. Love that autographed Goodie Mob. Your Rap collection is top notch you showed the DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince album covers man I never knew of the alternate cover . I’m definitely going to do one this weekend Darrell D I definitely subbed your channel take care brother man that UTFO brought back so many memories thanks for that pull.
I will do this. I’ve been thinking about a topic for a video this week. If I can’t answer one of your requests I’ll just make something up. I enjoyed this.
Darrell straight up called me out! You KNOW I was already plotting my own anyways as I watched you. I was nodding my head almost the whole video, I don't know the Milwaukee-centric stuff (I'm from SoCal and there was a lot there to contend with in the 80's) but I'm interested, there were a lot of dope crews all around the country for sure. I might come up zero on a couple questions but I'll try to be creative and answer as many as I can. Thanks for putting in the work and sharing with us, and you're very correct that rap is not well represented in the Vinyl Community, I hope that changes.
I think the most well know Rap group from the Milwaukee area is Arrested Development. I could be wrong because I’m no expert. My Rap is no whereas deep as Darrel’s but I went ahead and jumped on this. I couldn’t do all his questions. I just had fun with it and made up my own questions.
@@vinylrichie007 Gonna watch yours right now! (Arrested Development was actually formed in Atlanta. Speech was the only member from Milwaukee. He was in a group back in the 80's called A-Tack though.
hey darrell d do you still have any of the dj spotlight tapes? if you do could you upload them to your channel i really do miss watching them i remember watching the one with dj aztek cutting it up in the back of envisions
Yoooooooo!!!!!!! Who is this??? I have at least one or two that are still on vhs. Trust me, I'm in the process of getting them transferred to digital form but it's been a pain. Those were the good ol days!
Nice collection, thanks for sharing

@@allthingsdarrelldI will check out DopeFolks. That DJ Crush record sounds interesting.
Just put up my response :)
We share a few similarities in record likes!!!
Vinyl Richie did a response. He changed some of the questions and expanded it to 20. His number 20 is hilarious.
