I knew of a very small group of people who met together, had been baptised by each other, celebrated the Lord's Supper, prayed and worshipped, read thru Bible and had fellowship in this way. There were no sermons, only genuine discussion. Here was the thing: each person had day jobs, there was no leader of the group. There was no "collection" gathered because they were not a "non-profit" organized church. They met in their living rooms. I wish more Believers would follow something as simple and edifying as that.
I really enjoyed your video. I left the institutionalized church 8 months ago and I've never felt more free. My relationship with God has grown and I feel more confident in who God has called me to be.
I left the institutional church for good in 2006, and since then, I have grown far closer to God than in the nearly 4 decades that I spent with the church.
I've been saying this for a long time. I'm really becoming disgusted with the church as an institution. A light bulb went on when he said that worship has been hijacked by the institution. At this point I'm not sure if I'm going out of habit, or what.
That’s how it started with me, a disgust. Then the Lord opened my ears and I began to hear some of the things coming from leadership. For instance, it was said “Don’t put nice things in your house, make sure the church has nice things”. People were told to give even if they couldn’t afford food, and another time, the Pastor’s wife told me that you didn’t have to be “spiritual” to teach the children... but the bible tells us that teachers are judged at a higher level. After dealing with this for a while, the Lord finally told me to leave. I am growing now more than I have ever in all the years I attended church. It has been great.
Andrea Michelle how would you describe your growth? I agree with leaving those fruit loops, but Andrea can I ask you a question? What do you know about wolves? May sound random.. but it’s not
Exactly, "And the Lord *IS* that Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!" Hello, Helen Enang. Please check out my wife & my UA-cam. You might find it edifying. Here's a link to one of her videos: ua-cam.com/video/6dWbv46noH4/v-deo.html
Exactly Helen! I've learnt far more now from the Holy Spirit over recent years (when I returned to the Lord) by NOT going to church than when I did attending church (which I did for over 15 years). God said He will teach us Himself!
Practical Faith church is our self not a building the Holy Spirit of Christ He gives us all the peoples to seek Him its not our faults if the peoples they don’t receive the Holy Spirit of Christ bc the salvation is one by one not group of peoples we are living in the last-days Jesus has come in the flesh is from God so Jesus has come in our heart or stay or live in us through His Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit upon us if we seek in Him ... human cant do the salvations of other human only the Holy Spirit of Christ to help us one another to help us to stop living in the worldliness stop religions beliefs stop traditional beliefs to stop culture beliefs!!!
My church doesn't take an offering and they help a lot of ppl financially out of their own pockets, but the doctrine is a works doctrine. And it's my family. I only recently learned the truth of grace being completely obsessed and immersed in God's word, along with praying for truth. Today I went to church and I couldn't even pretend they were preaching the gospel. I can't go to please my family and they're going to think I've fell away from God when I tell them the truth, bc I can't just watch them all go down the wrong path after I've learned better. Please keep me in your prayers bc I don't know how to deal with this. You're video's are amazing. Thank you.
I was raised in a strict Catholic family. When i started reading the Bible and discovered true grace and freedom in Christ, my family basically disowned me. I have suffered greatly but i would never go back to man made religion.
I've been free from the institution since 2005. Freedom in Christ to simply fellowship with believer's across denominational lines and just love and learn to live through faith in Christ is phenomenal. I could share a lot more but for now I encourage you my fellow believer, be free.
@@paule-myriamcham165 I encourage you to read each Gospel letter, the book of Acts and all the letters in the New Testament. Read the whole Bible. Pray and ask God for understanding in His scriptures. Know that the scripture will never mean what it never meant. His word is so important to Him. He exalts it above His name. Stay encouraged.
Just about every church on Sundays has this traditional thing where after the second or third hymn sung, the Pastor tells his congregation to greet each other and shake hands. That kind of fellowship is very artificial.
WE ARE THE CHURCH!! We are a mobile church, we can go anywhere and spread the Word of God, we do not need to be inside 4 walls to go to church. Fellowshipping with like minded people is like iron sharpening iron and is encouraged...but our beliefs have no boundaries (or shouldn't ) Great video!
LoLo_B911 absolutely! I have been struggling with this very thing, and was very excited by the contents of this video. The megachurches in my area are indistinguishable from nightclubs inside.
ramona whitaker Have you tried a smaller congergation? I hope u find one,the acapella singing is beautiful, the lessons are good and the Lord's Supper is weekly. Also if you study the Bible you will find that sinners were not told to say a prayer in order to get saved, but to express their faith in Christ by repenting and and being baptized for the remission of sin (Acts ;38) Most churches do not teach this.
God gave me several dreams about "Church" that it was a performance like a broadway show. He showed me he is NOT a part of this "show" The Holy Spirit is NOT allowed in these places. Of course God will still reach people who are looking for him but It is NOT the True Church. We had a hard time leaving because you are told over and over "not to give up the assembling together" Well We are now having freedom and joy having home church with our family. So much deeper and closer with God and Way more fellowship. I love Christians and spending time with them, but like he says when we go to the so called building we find 0 fellowship..Christ lives in us! He is coming soon!!
1 Peter 3:18: You can't see a spirit. Michael the angel that became Jesus on earth returned in 1914 to kick Satan and followers out of heaven to the earth. The Bible is a Jehovah witness Book (Isaiah 43:10) We must be baptized in the same congregation as Christ Jesus for salvation. The word "church" is not found in the original manuscripts. It is congregation. Pastors with their churches are controlled by Satan. The Bible teaches one true religion, not hundreds. Visit jw.org Humanity's only salvation.
I blame pastors, not for not preaching something "new" but because they preach a different gospel. At least here in America. They preach the "prosperity gospel" and not the true gospel of grace. They spoon feed believers (who refuse to read the Bible for themself or think for themself or have a relationship with God for themself) and present this infomercial about how to be a winner and a champion! Rich, healthy and successful thanks to the bloody sacrifice of Jesus. Jesus didn't die to make us rich and successful. That is idolatry. Jesus Christ died to reconcile us to the father and saves us so that we go and also reconcile others to the Father. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation. I never hear that being preached.
I have taught this for years...I read a book called "The Open Church" years ago. Then I started reading the Bible on the subject and was blown away at how far I was in the " Matrix"....Father blesses what He can, but there is something way deeper and better that we could be doing...We are trading Gold for Brass

4:12 I'm now a living stone of the spiritual temple.1 Peter 2:10-14 now know that I'm a temple of the Holy Spirit. I'm now a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ while making other disciples of the Lord Jesus 24/7
I lost or has stolen my purse with cash and cards - I told a Christian friend and she asked me ' have I been tithing' - I said that has nothing to do with it..
Thank you for this video. I seen the "Institutional Church" as a business some time ago. Just like you mention, I knew what time everything in the church would happen each Sunday. I can recall how one church had you fill out a new members form and put your income on it! And if you need help they check the tithes book first to see if you were up to date before they would help you! As a single man I felt treated as second class because I was not married. The leadership would not even consider me to be a elder or pastor because of my singleness, I was told this! It was the lack of fellowship that turned me off. It was soo difficult to achieve. I never felt a connection, I called it a disconnect. So I stop going. I do enjoy the fellowship I have with Christians I meet at work or at just out and about. I am done with the Institutional Church!
Marc, my question to you, since I doubt you are in some sort of 1st century commune -- what are you doing instead of church? Or do you just stay home and watch football? scarletpumpernickel@hotmail.com
Not all church are the same, say you are not going to church or any congregation anymore for the rest of your life. Do you think you would have spiritual growth? Your brothers and sisters, pastor and evangelical would strengthen you. Their proofs of God's miracle in their lives would open your eyes that God is working. Gathering for God is important, remembering the Last Supper with your fellowship. It is not the money, me I just gave according to what I can afford. No regret no hard feeling, If they use it for food, for painting, for charity it is already for the works of God. In the old testament it says the Eleven tribes will feed their Priestly brethren for they have no work but to serve for us for God. Ephesians 4:11-16 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. What are these for? Should the congregation for God just stop and stop growing and be at home just do good according to our knowledge, it is the church that feed us spiritually. For me we still need church just look for a better church, maybe your church is suck for you but not all churches are the same and doesn't deserve your bias opinion. I've been living with no church and become so alone, so desolated to Him. But now i am studying and searching for His congregation that I deemed more close to Bible. God bless brother, I hope you would find those other saints serving God nowadays.
sk j, WOW, are you ever speaking our language! My wife (in religion for 35 years) and i (for 10) left our former building 1 year ago and we can sooooooo relate to what you say. We were in leadership, and struggling w/ the contradictions of scripture we were seeing. We BEGGED to have a discussion and, after making one last plea we were ignored FIVE STRAIGHT WEEKS - even as we attended EVERY SERVICE. Anyway, we are so glad to be free and living as the *real* church was meant to be: living and loving people every day whether in a building or not. God bless you and, if you have time, you might find our vids edifying. Especially one by my wife called, "A Beautifully Made Mind". Welcome to "the REAL body" of Christ. :)
Agree and am not feeling guilty for not going to "church" God loves me perfectly always and he is my source of love to others. Thank you for the encouraging words.
Thank you for speaking the truth. I have known this since the late 90's, but I am not a very good communicator. My son found you and shared it with me, and I told him that "He took the words right out of my mouth" God bless you.
Hey there, I absolutely agree with your thoughtful insight that the church is indeed the people and the community, not a specific building. This is a beautiful reminder of our unity in Christ. Have you considered exploring how this communal aspect of the church mirrors God's unconditional love and grace? It would be exciting to delve deeper into this with you and others in our Grace Gaze community, join us at go.gracegaze.com/go.
I have been attending church for years. I have done everything possible in church. I was raised where we had alter calls and prayer for the people was constant. People really cared about one another. The love of money has infiltrated the church. As I study the essence of Jesus Christ I personally only see disparity and no real spiritual connectedness.I personally feel the church is more concerned about my tithe than my soul.Jesus Christ will always be my most cherished Lord. Unfortunately my love and enjoyment of the church has left.
I understand it when you say that the church has been kind of taken over by love of money. It's disgraceful. In the UK, the churches have to give huge sums of money to the Synod out of what they have collected! Why can't they just use the money to pay for their usual expenses? It all seems so skewed. I recall one Sunday when I had attended a Methodist church and they were actually COUNTING MONEY after the service, which put me off going there again!
The lord told me that it’s a form of business but when you in trouble most of them can’t help you while homeless people are in the streets with no where to go so I decided with the vision the lord gave me to start my own outreach ministry a ministry that will help people I left the church in 2009 and never look back i been hurt lied on abuse and talk about I was laugh at too I’m tired of church so I will follow what the lord told me and that to start my own ministry God is the light outreach ministry I thank the lord for allowing me to move forward and seek the truth
Hello. Although Scripture does not condone women as pastor's ( overseer of the convening body of Christ on earth ), you can serve in the role of evangelist ( telling the lost about salvation in Christ ). Your outreach is dynamic. Jesus came to seek out and save the lost, both their physical needs and spiritual. The simplicity of the gospel.
@@soundjudgement3586 that's not cool that you say women can't be leaders because Jesus said there is now no longer slave or free, Jew or gentile, man or woman all are equal in God's eyes. There has been many great women leaders. ):
@@amygoff4127 Amy, the women in the NT and the era of the church ( universal salvation came after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ ) so put OT stories aside , the OT has it's relevance. St. John 10:31 ... But if any man be a worshipper of God and doeth his will... Acts 2:18 And on my handmaid's I will pour out my spirit ( paraphrase) and they shall prophesy. There is no male chauvinism in scripture. There is God's divine plan in Scripture. There is no scriptures to support women in the role of Pastor or Overseer. Mark 16:15 and John 20: 21 - 23 Jesus give the evangelistic mission to his disciples. The women in Christ time were more servants, not in a derogatory manner. Romand 10:9-10 provides salvation for all, both male and female. Yet, God always has an orderly system even in Grace , Ephesians 2:8-9. I Corinthians 12:4 speaks about diversities of gifts by the same Spirit. Women can evangelize and teach other women and children. 12:28 speaks of the roles if believers. I Corinthians 14:34 and 1Timothy 2:12 ( not chauvinist ) address women's spiritual role. She is gifted to prophesy ( speak briefly ) but not pastor or preach a sermon. This is God's plan I cannot speak against it. I will not try to minimize it or override it and insert my own belief. Scripture say no private interpretation
The church I grew up in is very huge building with several rooms which are mostly used as classes. It's empty at night yet they won't allow the homeless to sleep in these rooms smh
I need prayer and guidance in this area, please pray for me. I go to a large bible teaching church but don’t feel the fellowship and power of God there
Talk to Him, brother. You ARE the church. Your Father loves & accepts you *PERFECTLY!* Take Him everywhere you go, and you will never go wrong. God bless you man.
*JESUS* is the Word. It says, "In the beginning was The WORD (Jesus), and (Jesus) is God.." not, "In the beginning was the Bible, and the Bible was God..." Faith comes by *hearing* , and hearing by the Word (Jesus, the Holy Spirit of) God
Thanks so much for your kind words, they brought a smile to my face. I'm delighted you found the video impactful and I appreciate your perception of the love of Christ radiating from me. Yes, I do not experience true community. It is just a place people gather for surface socialization, and then they leave. I give money, time, and resources, then leave feeling empty and not included. Yes, real fellowship happens in homes and restaurants. Thank you for affirming what I feel. ♡ I AM THE CHURCH. From now on, I will give money, time, and resources to our local homeless shelter. This is where I find Jesus: in service.
I disagree......I learn about the scriptures from Genesis to Revelations.....not just singing and fellowship. I do agree that many churches are nothing but a business, a fellowship of people getting together. I left the universal churches of today......I only go where the Word of God is preached.
James Thomas May be a building could be needed sometimes, well it could be rented. The problem with a permanent building is that everything spins around it, also the one who owns the building dictate the rules!
Practical Faith Believers can gather anywhere, look at Jesus, he was on the mountain besides the sea in the streets in the fields and many other places. There is no need to name a particular place, it has already a name. The church is made out of people not places. The buildings organized religion is what has keep people in bondage and ignorance. When you start to think for yourself and research all this things are so evident, that there is not excuses to remain in the system. 😉
@@julioestebanperezescudero6246 Jesus was in all those places, but He was also in the synagogue every Sabbath as was his custom (Luke 4:16). The Bible makes it clear that Believers should be meeting regularly with other believers. I don't care what others call that, but I call it church.
I agree!!! I have been frustrated with church for 20:years! The lord is now showing me this false system! So many are deceived! Thank you for sharing this! ✝️⚔️
Wow! Thank you so much for this teaching. I thought I'm the only one who thought like this. I have a hard time forcing myself to go to church each week, always feeling so confused because I love God very much, but just can't stand going to church. Everything you say is so true and enlightening, like a breath of fresh air. Thank you and God bless you sir for telling the truth.
I hear you! I have heard of others who worship in a more simple way within their communities. They meet in their homes and other places and seem to be happier somehow. I do get tired of all the rather false structure, the endless pressure to conform and donate money all the time. I have drifted from church to church, trying to be open to God there and never seem to feel happy. I don't like to criticise but most churches seem to be the same.
Hi there! It's refreshing to read your honest perspective. The beauty of the Gospel of Grace is that it welcomes us as we are, with no need for pretense or superficial structures. It feels like you're yearning for a deeper connection with God and fellow believers. Would you reconsider your view if you experienced a community that only encouraged without pressure, fosters love instead of conformity, and focused on the joy of being in Christ not obligations? If yes, I invite you to join our Grace Gaze Academy or our Facebook group where we explore the limitless depth of God's grace. Join us at go.gracegaze.com/go, and let's discover together the profound joy, peace, and freedom found only in Christ.
This video, and Part 2 as well, are excellent. It has us wondering why any born-again believer would stay in the "institutional church"!?? Thank you for this clever and insightful explanation of why you left church. We like to say that once we quit "going to church," we found Jesus Christ waiting outside the doors! :)
I went to over 60 churches in a 3 year period.. I'm a single dad raising my son. And every church was very suspicious of me. Asked where my wife was? Where I'm from. Even had a so called godly lady in the church call the police just to see who I was.. I was raised in church my whole life. seen afairs false teachings.. you name it! I never fit in.. I'm a nice looking guy also.. I'm tall short hair no tattoos.. there's no reason these people should of been suspicious.. it's because I wasn't married!!
Blazer playz haha that happened to me once although the cop that showed up at the church didn't actually approach me. I went to this one church cuz one of my fellow students told me to meet him there for some reason. The church ushers recognized me from my homeless days before I got into college and called the cops. I saw one of them pointing me out to the cop who showed up lolololol. Like I said, the cop never approached me. But it was weird
@@josheternal well hey man God loves you!!! And I do as well.. I don't know you! But your a human.. and what you needed was love!! If I was there you would be my friend.. I truly mean that.. I'm not perfect.. but I sure can love!!
Hey... We've all gotten pushed out of church in one form or another. Haha. But sorry to hear that was your experience. That's ridiculous. Well we know God accepts you and your son with open arms. I think of nothing else that experience for you shows you the true character of churches. Which in and of itself is a blessing. For me one of my things is being late all the time, among calling pastors out on their sins, etc. Pastors who tried to control me into being on time, friends in small group studies as well. Condemned me for it, etc. Which it's nothing personal. I'm late to work appointments jury duty friend Hangouts dates. And I have tithed I've volunteered. Now I'm better with work and appts but my point being... Well now they don't how to condemn me anymore because I'm simply not showing up. If you attend, it's like they want you to forcefully become a new member, meet the pastor's which I don't get along with, tithe, and attend a small group. So much emphasis on the "church" whereas the emphasis should be on reading the Bible praying to God worshipping alone and crying out to God, as well as fasting to hear the voice of God more. The churches are in idolatry.
I know what you mean. I have seen the most vile, self righteous, judgmental people in churches. I will never attend or be in the same building as these wretched people.
I haven't got through your first video and I feel the need to respond. I believe many true born-again believers are leaving the watering holes of Christianity because they are not being properly feed. Each Sunday around America, millions of Pastors are giving watered down sermons to Christ's flock, choosing rather to sooth the pride of the spiritually dead. Ignoring the Bible that their are given their gifts for the perfecting of the saints. Jesus commanded Peter to feed His sheep. I began my walk in Christ in 1998 and as all born again believer I thirst for His word, which has lead me seeking a Pastor that I had not spiritually surpassed. Sadly, I ended up on my own. The word says that we are not to forsake the assembly of Christ's church, but Christ's also said when two or three are gather in my name there I am in the midst of them. You aren't alone. Many sheep are seeking a gathering hole in these evil times before Christ's arrival. Just hold tight to the faith that He has gifted you with, keep studying to show yourself approve and you will do fine. May God bless you and yours; your sister Olecia.
1 Corinthians 12:25- that there should be no schism/division in the body: but that the members should have the same care for one another. 27 now ye are the body Christ and members in particular/individually. Pls consider these passages. May the Churches remain united and edified..
I recently stopped going to a church I had been going to for a number of years. A number of christian friends I know recently stopped going too. They just felt it was time to leave. I believe God is leading people out of the institutional churches. Interesting topic. It was good to go for a time but the Lord moves us on sometimes.
As a participant in relational "home meetings" I also see the importance of having elders among us who are mature, well-versed in Scripture, and have a vision for making disciples. We need discipline as individuals and as churches. The New Testament speaks of the Church as a family, not as an institution. In our meetings we have a meal together after the service, and spend all afternoon in fellowship, talking about the Word and how to apply it (and not about football). Yes, the church is what we are, not merely where we go.
Great video brother! Me and my family broke away from the institution and began doing a House Service, it's been very personal and rewarding! I wish every family would try it God bless you!
At Flint River Primitive Baptist church we do not pass the plate, we do not have a band or a worship team. Join us online each Sunday at 11:00 cst in Alabama. Like our facebook page for notifications. Also we lived in The Netherlands in Epe. Love the Dutch.
I attached my church for two years hoping to make friends , sadly only a few and just for during church not outside, ....no loss for me!! I love the Lord and every day we live, together no matter, all is well with my soul***
Yeah I've been feeling pretty depressed lately since there seem to be cliques in church and it's hard for a quieter more introverted person like me. More so in youth group for me maybe actual church is better idk.

Saw your comment after a video. I too looked for a church for years and like you, no one spoke to me. When my Mother died from breast cancer no one cared or visited me. A flatmate of mine once told me when after their brother shot himself dead he got phone calls and people visited him with casseroles. He is a Jehovah's Witness though. My best friend once a staunch Catholic told me people generally also visited each other etc.I am pretty alone too but I am thinking of forming a home fellowship where lonely Christians can meet and fellowship once a week. Used to go to a Baptist church years ago on and off and had prayers meetings at my flat every Wednesday night. People from the Church led by a woman would come over,we'd read some bible verses, sing songs and then have a cuppa. One night I counted 15 people and felt so shuffed. I looked forward to having people over.My place wasn't all that big either. Why not place an ad some where and form a group. Could go on day trips, have picnics, see movies together. I live in Brisbane Queensland Australia and just came across this video.Satan likes to attack us when we are all alone, I know only too well.Take care and God bless you.
It sure is and we have to keep reminding ourselves that all of this sadness was caused by the Roman Empire in 321 AD when Constantine destroyed Christianity by burning their Bibles and then they established their catholic religion and buildings with idols of Christ, Joseph and Mary including the Angels holding the bowls of holy water which is only tap water. There's nowhere in the Bible where Christians have to make a sign of the cross before they enter a building and before they exit.
I've joined a FB group called Unchurching. It has over 3400 members. It is so cool. The leader who wrote the book Unchurching, Richard Jacobson started the FB group. It has brought me so much freedom to see so many other people in the same place as me regarding the Institutional Church.
I attested a church as a baby Christian, I was in the honeymoon phase of my walk. The first part of the meeting covered the brand new outfit the preacher had brought his wife. She was kind enough to stand and model the suit. They spoke of the different missions they supported. There were mostly mothers and children there. A few was accompanied by husbands or male mates. Many children were present. Some of the children were dressed so poorly, shoes old and ill fitting clothing. Now I understand that times are hard, but this church was nice and well furnished. The cars in the parking lot were very expensive. They had people from the neighborhood who attended. and some of the children came without parents, they were also dressed poorly., Apparently the children had been going to this church for some times and some of the single mothers also. One of the mothers stood up and told the church that she needed them her PG&e was off and she did not have the money to correct this problem. The preacher asked the conglomeration to pray for this lady. they had already announced the monies that had had been collected for the missionaries they were providing money for. How could they not see the needs of these people who had joined this body. The new cars belonged to the staff of this church. Most of the members walked in from the neighborhood where this church was located, They passed the collection plate around and I saw the men and women put as much change they could afford, and some of the children put change in also. How could this be. .
You must come WEEKLY and arrive ON TIME and SING when told and SIT DOWN and BE QUIET while someone speaks and OBEY the demoninational (typo intended) rules and creeds and BECOME A MEMBER.
Thank you so much for shedding light on this subject! Unfortunately there are millions of people that do not recognize the seriousness of this problem!
George Castro, yes, people do Not Realize the seriousness, indeed. Have you ever noticed, or been shown, how the early church had conflicts and that the elders in Jerusalem themselves didn't even agree with each other and especially Paul? Legalism has been going on since before the church and is continued on through till now. and God lets us struggle through these things. Paul is the one who taught the true Grace message and it is not being taught in the church, so called, today. People need to know they *are* the church and they don't need a building to live the life of the church, we are the temple and that has been forgotten. So sad..
I think people do realize it, but, so many things have become the unspoken taboo issues that we aren't supposed to talk about. So, issues are left as is, and eventually, get in the way of real life.
I used to always wonder why people would go to a building and give money to a person to talk to them about a book they could easily read themselves, especially when that person only talks about maybe half of the book. Bible study at home with friends and family is so much better because at least everyone can ask questions and discuss the whole book. Church is like a book club with only one book and pastors are really just glorified public speakers who are often more wealthy than the entire congregation put together. You can pray wherever you want to and paying tithes seems to be a way of making people feel obligated to give money. I understand the money is supposed to keep the lights on and pay the rent for the church but pastor's with mansions and private jets and the flock drives raggedy cars or catch the bus? Jesus would not approve.
Prior to leaving church eleven years ago I never found any genuine fellowship at any church I've ever been to. I tell people that I had to leave church to find God.
I stop going to church years ago...! I wasn't growing in my own personal life and as i aged I wasn't progressing. I've lost many opportunities meeting new people and relationships. Moving forward years later most members I new never bettered there lives, most never finished school and have no abundance in there lives, Some are living in extreme provirdy giving there tithes! Its hard to believe the church system has become buissness oriented and people can't think for themselves or even notice how behind there life is! I'm so happy and feel at piece! Church starts in my house and out in the real world!
This is all so true, great video. I stopped going a couple of years ago as I didn't feel God there and the mechanics of it as you say felt monotonous and uninspiring. My boys were older so I felt now was the time, after a few months I felt bad and tried a new church, again I felt there was a lot of routine, money talk and not a lot of Christianity I also didn't feel all that welcome despite attending the cell groups. Though I must add the couple hosting it were friendly. I lasted 6 months then left, I feel so much better, I read my Bible daily, pray and worship without a formal church and like you mention I can give to causes of my choosing.
What about the scripture that says how will they believe without a preacher? What about the Apostles, Prophets, teachers, etc.? In 1st Corinthians it tells about all the ministries for the church. Can you please address this? Thank you!
Well said. Its amazing how long church has been operating this way. Our bodies are the temple of god. As the bible says, where there are two or more gathered in his name there he is...
I was told I cannot be baptised unless I be a Member of the Church... I will never b a member.. I go odd time .. but I prefer my own personal time studying with GOD....... is this wrong..... I'm a new Christian
I stopped going to our church bc they were very hypocritical. And are not True bible based teaching. More of being “politically correct” which drove me to the point of saying no more. No real fellow ship. I have been praying to find true believers that will help me grow in Christ and me to help them.
I stopped going to church a couple of years ago, now I just meet once a week with another believer for fellowship, prayer and Bible reading. I can honestly say I have never been so blessed and don't miss the church one bit.
I'm so so glad I watched your video ❤. I love my relationship with God, and I try my best to serve the Lord in my daily life, but I've never enjoyed church. Even as a child I didnt get it. I dont like singing and listening to others preach on how *they* perceive Christ. I prefer to read the Bible, pray, and listen to worship music before bed. You can have a very strong relationship with the Lord without going to church. Amen brother & God bless you. x
Luke 4:16e went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, If it was the custom of Jesus whom you claim to follow to go to church every Sabbath, why do you think you can outgrow going to church? Are you going to church to see man or to see God? Who is God to you and how much reverence do you have for him? Do not use your experience to sabotage and mislead Christian faithfuls. Where is it written in the bible that Starbucks in the synagogue such as the one Christ went to? People who make such comments should be born again because I don't think you are. Spiritual things are not calculated by human minds. If a church is not doing what you think is right, try to correct it and if it doesn't work, look for another church to fellowship. Do not make people go to night clubs in the name of meeting Christian friends . We claim to know too much yet not different from those who killed Jesus. GH mercy
Its ok not to attend in the religion institution always...As long as you have faith in God.. you can talk to him anywhere in this world..read his bible, dont do harm to other just Love. Have attitude of gratitude and shares this to others...Thats faith. There are a lot of people that I know are love to go to church every sunday, but some of them are evil-thinker and doer. They are so annoying.. but because I have faith I've just understand them and pray for their enlightenment.
*EXCELLENT* teaching! I see this topic draws a lot of attention...AND a LOT of fiery darts, Lol! My wife & I love the messages so far (saw part 2 as well). Keep up the *true Bible teaching* , brother. Also, if anyone else sees this and likes it, my wife & I post new videos all the time w/ the same biblical message of God's boundless grace. God's blessing to all - even you who disagree. God is tugging at your hearts too..
Yes we don’t go to “church “ as we fellowship in our houses daily. We are living stones building up into a spiritual temple.1Peter 2:4.Acts 2:41-46 shows us.We baptise people in our home and break bread and make disciples.Yes we are church everyday as we are living stones..Communion is not mentioned in Gods word but it is the Passover Lord’s Supper or breaking bread..Your video is excellent.Watch The last reformation on youtube especially lesson 17 All blessings in Jesus name
The Pulpit stole my "I am..."; my identity in Christ. I had to leave to regain my relationship with God and his firstborn son of many sons, Jesus. As I have built my relationship, I now have regular communion, communication with God.
We had to move out of our church building last year due to extensive roof repairs being needed. The offer of the thousands in cash to do the work was made but after long consideration, we decided to refuse the money and we now meet in the common room of a sheltered housing complex . Our numbers on a Sunday have halved and some people have left the church because they wanted a proper church building to meet in. We also have a few new people who couldn't get to the old building because it was too far for them to walk. Our decision to seek a new place was based in our faith in God to find us something more suitable and nearer to the people we want to serve. We live in a area of high deprivation, where The Food Cupboard is very important to many families and where there are children who go to school to have breakfast and who have to be fed at school during the long holidays. To have spent so much money on a building for 25 people for two hours every week would have been criminal and certainly not Christian. Our church is us, within us, and we are for the people who do not yet know God. A building which is ours and where we don't have to store our Bibles and hymn books in a small cupboard, and where we don't have to put out the chairs and tidy up afterwards, would be great, but we don't need it in order to worship. We worship God every day in every way, when we look after others and share what we have and know of God's love with everyone by how we act. I appreciate the need of other people for the rituals of liturgy and it brings into the discussion the history of our faith and the base on which it was founded. We look to Jesus for salvation, from sin and from ourselves, from our selfish human natures. Going to church to share our worship with others keeps us in communion with those who have gone before us and from whom we learned about the love of God for each being on this planet, and it is wonderful to share with our likeminded friends in what can be a hostile environment if you are the only Christian around. In that sense, a church and traditional words, music and decoration are supportive and comforting. But I believe that the true base of our faith is the love of God shown in the life, teachings and death of Jesus, and we do that every day, for everyone, not just for a couple of hours on The Lord's Day. Every day is The Lord's Day, and we should celebrate that and share it with everyone, whoever and wherever they are.
Very profound. You must have a very open mind to listen to this. I love It. I have chosen to pursue a relationship instead. I like the point you raised. "There is no way they can preach something new" " probably why Jesus's ministry was only 3 years" yes I am the church. Thank you so much
You don't need an open mind to listen to this. He is recommending something very easy to do; it's not a hard teaching at all, and it's very appealing to the world and to proud Christians. What is challenging is continuing to meet together, bearing one another's burdens, submitting to each other, dealing with messy lives. This sermon is the broad way.
"Why is church attendance / going to church important?" Answer: The Bible tells us we need to attend church so we can worship God with other believers and be taught His Word for our spiritual growth. The early church “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). We should follow that example of devotion-and to the same things. Back then, they had no designated church building, but “every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts” (Acts 2:46). Wherever the meeting takes place, believers thrive on fellowship with other believers and the teaching of God’s Word. Church attendance is not just a “good suggestion”; it is God’s will for believers. Hebrews 10:25 says we should “not [be] giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Even in the early church, some were falling into the bad habit of not meeting with other believers. The author of Hebrews says that’s not the way to go. We need the encouragement that church attendance affords. And the approach of the end times should prompt us to be even more devoted to going to church. Church is the place where believers can love one another (1 John 4:12), encourage one another (Hebrews 3:13), “spur” one another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24), serve one another (Galatians 5:13), instruct one another (Romans 15:14), honor one another (Romans 12:10), and be kind and compassionate to one another (Ephesians 4:32). When a person trusts Jesus Christ for salvation, he or she is made a member of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). For a church body to function properly, all of its “body parts” need to be present and working (1 Corinthians 12:14-20). It’s not enough to just attend a church; we should be involved in some type of ministry to others, using the spiritual gifts God has given us (Ephesians 4:11-13). A believer will never reach full spiritual maturity without having that outlet for his gifts, and we all need the assistance and encouragement of other believers (1 Corinthians 12:21-26). For these reasons and more, church attendance, participation, and fellowship should be regular aspects of a believer's life. Weekly church attendance is in no sense “required” for believers, but someone who belongs to Christ should have a desire to worship God, receive His Word, and fellowship with other believers. Jesus is the Cornerstone of the Church (1 Peter 2:6), and we are “like living stones . . . being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5). As the building materials of God’s “spiritual house,” we naturally have a connection with one another, and that connection is evident every time the Church “goes to church.”
There are genuine matters that this bro in Christ is pointing out that those who have been called in positions of authority over the flock of God to serious awaken, and address. Much as they should not forsake the assembly of the saints; church as I think they seam to suggest and encourage their listeners, disgruntled like them to follow suit. Those big churches probably started out well ,small ,fellowships like u intend them to be but along the way got offtrack , now in error. There good churches I believe but not perfect. As long as u examine your self against the word of God and found wanting brethren every where for Christ will only come for a perfect church . That is without wrinkle or spot.
If you love Him, use His Words, not man's. You are the Church, not the building. You cannot go to Church. Acts 7:48 KJV Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
when you go to church (building) you interact with other people and your our duty make disciples inside of that building and help those that just arrived or those you are lost. as many people inside of the building and many are lost
i have been going to church since a child, I am 56 years old. i love the Word of God and the altars of God. Seeing lives delivered and transformed be God's glory! RICH😂😆
I have not gone to church for many years a day I am loving my LORD JESUS . When I speak to church goers about certain truths of the Bible they are confused . I beg people to read the WORD every day and live by it! Thanks for your video.GOD BLESS YOU AND FAMILY.
I believe in God I use to go to church I was a Catholic, Pentecostal, the last thing I did was take Jehovah witness class no churches change my life I believe that to keep in contact with God you don't need to go to church, just pray to him, churches will not save you.
Hi, I believe that you have a lot of great insights, but I do have a question. The Bible is very clear in multiple passages that we are called to submit to our leaders, imitate our pastors etc. There is an assumption that we are following under shepherds as we follow Jesus. Who are your leaders that you submit to?
Devon Peters He is not speaking against the fact that there is a hierarchy or a system. He is saying that those run that system are not running it biblically and are unwilling to change. Thus, it is time to break away, form new groups in the name of Christ, and let God choose leaders naturally over time.
The worse thing about church is that we are suppose to come together to encourage each other to good works and yet I NEVER EVER hear it being preached that we should WITNESS to the lost. NEVER. And I have been to MANY churches in the past 23 years. They never teach that Christians are to give out tracts and witness on a daily basis. Jesus gave us the mandate to " go into the world, preach the gospel and make disciples of men." Who is doing that? Not even 1% of the church. Jesus never said "Sit in the pulpit in a building and wait for people to come to you"--No, church as we know it today is a GAME. They get dressed up and play every Sunday, make an appearance, sing a few songs, drop their check in the bucket and go back to sinning, ignoring God and ignoring the lost. But they believe they are saved.
Every church I ever attended was like the ones you are describing. Then 10 years ago, by the grace of God, I was led to pastor a small country church of about 40 people. I make it a point every Sunday to encourage the flock to engage in the Great Commission and to be bold in doing so. Every Sunday. Church is the place where Christians assemble and worship as a body of believers. Outside the walls is where evangelism takes place. Hopefully I find myself in your 1%.
Agree. I left the building 4years ago, Now fellowship at my home . I have a Wednesday meeting and a Saturday meeting , both days we start at 10 and end around 3. No more institutions for me I’m free .
*EXACTLY!* The minute someone talks about the churchES, I know they are trapped in the superstition of religion. It's fearful & puts *ALL* "faith" in being in the building, "doing right", being obedient, etc. The pagan church, which is ALL of them, is a *walk by site* operation. To walk by faith, one must realize Jesus taught the law because He, and ONLY He, could free us from it! Paul, who was taught by "revelation of Jesus Christ", taught the *true* message of grace.
going to an institutional church for so long has made me bored to death with even reading my bible anymore, I don't really listen to worship music anymore, because I've heard it all a million times. Its useless to consume regurgitated information.
I also no longer go to church. Wish I could find a fellowship that has a policy of not accepting money. I feel like that corrupts everything. I dont know why it is so hard to find this.
A few years ago, I wanted to see about joining a particular church. I asked how I was to do this. They told me that I would have to be voted on, to see if I would be allowed to be a member. I never returned. Is this the standard way ? Someone enlighten me.
Thank you Bas. And Amen. When I began to seek God and the things He desires of me, he took me from one congregation to another, showing me what was in the 'church' (institutional denominations around the city), and what was not. I basically was in a few for a good 3 years plus, for some, and 3 yrs or less in others. At several venues, God gave me to see the lack thereof and to give me words for the church by first bringing them to the pastor thereof. In eah case, I discovered, surely as God intended, that ears were closed. Eventually, I clearly heard God say, " Come out (of her) and be church. I am still struggling 7 years later, to see this materialize (yet it should be quite simple; by my own defects, I struggle). I shared your post today, to see if one or two might not have their ears tickled, and their minds and hearts respond in Christ. Bless you, and thanks again.
Pastors in the traditional, institutional churches preach the same old recycled sermons week after week. They ran out with nothing new to say. Sermons are clichés, meaning, they're powerless to edify their own members....How sad!!!!
I felt every word you speak. I feel the same way. I have a relationship everyday with God in his word. I feel closer to God by myself rather then with as I feel fake robotic Christians.

Hm. This link goes to a business page, it seems to be advertising a way to grow closer to God. Do you drop a video each week?
I knew of a very small group of people who met together, had been baptised by each other, celebrated the Lord's Supper, prayed and worshipped, read thru Bible and had fellowship in this way. There were no sermons, only genuine discussion. Here was the thing: each person had day jobs, there was no leader of the group. There was no "collection" gathered because they were not a "non-profit" organized church. They met in their living rooms. I wish more Believers would follow something as simple and edifying as that.
That's the true church pattern
I'm hoping to find or start something like this in my community.
That is exactly what I plan to create for myself and whoever wants to join me. Thank you for the confirmation of my vision.
That is great... Hope they had elders too. Elders are not dictators, but men in the assembly who offer wisdom and direction.
This pattern has been my vision too. Glad to know there are groups already👍.
I really enjoyed your video. I left the institutionalized church 8 months ago and I've never felt more free. My relationship with God has grown and I feel more confident in who God has called me to be.
Amen! Me too 🙂
Are you still not in a formal church gathering? How is your relationship with God and the people around you? Just currious.
One year and one month church free. My living room and sofa for me.
Yeeesss! Exaaactlyyy! As I sit with tears in my eyes, I am officially DONE! 😊🎼❤️♏
I've learned that a while ago and i truly thank God for showing me thank you God❤😢🙌☝
Lamar Moore where are you today with it?
May sound random.. but it’s not
Jesus said he'd give us the Holy Spirit to be our teacher...
Exactly, "And the Lord *IS* that Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!"
Hello, Helen Enang.
Helen Enang
Amen...the Teacher is available; but u know...we must AVAIL of him! He will lead and guide then...into ALL TRUTH! 🙏📖
And He also set teachers in the church. It's specifically one of the 5 ministry gifts. You can't just rely on the Holy Spirit and ignore your Bible.
Talk about hitting the nail on the head!!! Everything you said was spot on ! Off to listen to part 2 now....
Thank you.
how is it going now>
I was raised in a strict Catholic family.
I’m trying to be free please help on my journey but don’t know where to start
@@paule-myriamcham165 I encourage you to read each Gospel letter, the book of Acts and all the letters in the New Testament. Read the whole Bible. Pray and ask God for understanding in His scriptures. Know that the scripture will never mean what it never meant. His word is so important to Him. He exalts it above His name. Stay encouraged.
Just about every church on Sundays has this traditional thing where after the second or third hymn sung, the
Pastor tells his congregation to greet each other and shake hands. That kind of fellowship is very artificial.
Right I never like that.
@@genevieve-gh3lpI can’t stand it.
Look at the person sitting next to you and say "you look good!" 😂
WE ARE THE CHURCH!! We are a mobile church, we can go anywhere and spread the Word of God, we do not need to be inside 4 walls to go to church. Fellowshipping with like minded people is like iron sharpening iron and is encouraged...but our beliefs have no boundaries (or shouldn't ) Great video!
I agree with you 100% perfect.
LoLo_B911 absolutely! I have been struggling with this very thing, and was very excited by the contents of this video. The megachurches in my area are indistinguishable from nightclubs inside.
ramona whitaker Have u tried the Churches of Christ?
Vic Pease Yes. Just too big and impersonal.
ramona whitaker Have you tried a smaller congergation?
Thank you!
Amen Brother 🙏
1 Peter 3:18: You can't see a spirit. Michael the angel that became Jesus on earth returned in 1914 to kick Satan and followers out of heaven to the earth. The Bible is a Jehovah witness Book (Isaiah 43:10) We must be baptized in the same congregation as Christ Jesus for salvation. The word "church" is not found in the original manuscripts. It is congregation. Pastors with their churches are controlled by Satan. The Bible teaches one true religion, not hundreds. Visit jw.org Humanity's only salvation.

The Holy Spirit lives in all believers and He doesn’t leave them no matter where they go
I blame pastors, not for not preaching something "new" but because they preach a different gospel.
This is so true!
There's no money in truth/new different. Everyone wants to make money off of their version of the Gospel now days.
Sounds like you need to find a different church.
That is because Protestants don't believe any of that stuff.
Vox Dei Amen
I have taught this for years...I read a book called "The Open Church" years ago. Then I started reading the Bible on the subject and was blown away at how far I was in the " Matrix"....Father blesses what He can, but there is something way deeper and better that we could be doing...We are trading Gold for Brass
The emperor has no clothes. People are beginning to see it. Great video!!!
The bible is not about Christianity it's about kingdom. We are supposed to learn about God's kingdom and live it out on earth.
And experience it on earth. The kingdom of God is lobe, joy, and peace.

Paul, you really just needed to find a better church. Pray for help finding one. Don't just drop out.
Ephesians 4:11-16
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
God bless brother, I hope you would find those other saints serving God nowadays.
homedefenselawrence very reply I totally agree!!!
sk j, WOW, are you ever speaking our language! :)

Thank you for speaking the truth. I have known this since the late 90's, but I am not a very good communicator. My son found you and shared it with me, and I told him that "He took the words right out of my mouth" God bless you.
The church is the people, the community, it's not a specific building!
Tracey Jones Where, in the New Testament King James Bible is there an "alter call"?
@@soundjudgement3586 she can have an outreach ministry by her own self. Be gone
I need prayer and guidance in this area, please pray for me. I go to a large bible teaching church but don’t feel the fellowship and power of God there
read the Holy Bible KJV, you will find your peace and the power of God is only in his words.
Talk to Him, brother. You ARE the church. Your Father loves & accepts you *PERFECTLY!*
Take Him everywhere you go, and you will never go wrong. God bless you man.
*JESUS* is the Word. It says, "In the beginning was The WORD (Jesus), and (Jesus) is God.." not, "In the beginning was the Bible, and the Bible was God..."
Faith comes by *hearing* , and hearing by the Word (Jesus, the Holy Spirit of) God

You need to do research on the Eastern Orthodox church. There are many YT videos on this.
@@lxmzhg why do you say that?
You are so right! I love this video. The love shines out from you....
Thanks so much for your kind words, they brought a smile to my face. I'm delighted you found the video impactful and I appreciate your perception of the love of Christ radiating from me. It'd be wonderful if you joined us in our private Grace Gaze Facebook group where we can grow together in grace. Here’s the link: go.gracegaze.com/go.
Beautiful ❤
You're not the church, that's not biblical, it's selfish. You don't spread the word effectively by donating to the homeless.
You want to be part of the community? Involve yourself in service😊 make Christians friends😊 socialize😊
I disagree......I learn about the scriptures from Genesis to Revelations.....not just singing and fellowship. I do agree that many churches are nothing but a business, a fellowship of people getting together. I left the universal churches of today......I only go where the Word of God is preached.
we are the church we don't need that building anymore.
James Thomas
May be a building could be needed sometimes, well it could be rented.
The problem with a permanent building is that everything spins around it, also the one who owns the building dictate the rules!
James Thomas yes it's true
So where do you think believers should gather? And what do you call that place?
Practical Faith
Believers can gather anywhere, look at Jesus, he was on the mountain besides the sea in the streets in the fields and many other places.

I just got out of Church I don't feel too good about it. I still believe in God.
I haven't got through your first video and I feel the need to respond. I believe many true born-again believers are leaving the watering holes of
Christianity because they are not being properly feed.

What's wrong with talking about football? I love football!
Oh my gosh Bas, I have felt this way forever. Thank you so much for making this video. I am sharing it with my family
Very good points made here. Some of them I hadn't considered before. Excellent video. Thanks for posting it.
I attached my church for two years hoping to make friends , sadly only a few and just for during church not outside, ....no loss for me!! I love the Lord and every day we live, together no matter, all is well with my soul***
Kellyann thomas I'm sorry that happened to you! I went to 64 churches in 3 years. I only made 1 friend out of all the churches.. its just sad.

How could this be. .

What a shame!
God is grieving over this.
You must come WEEKLY and arrive ON TIME and SING when told and SIT DOWN and BE QUIET while someone speaks and OBEY the demoninational (typo intended) rules and creeds and BECOME A MEMBER.
It's basically public school.
It feels like mind control, stand up sit down, hug your neighbor, sing, shake hands. Just like the World.
So sad..
True. Fully agreed to both the comments here👍👍
I think people do realize it, but, so many things have become the unspoken taboo issues that we aren't supposed to talk about. So, issues are left as is, and eventually, get in the way of real life.
bas has put into words all that has been on my heart for forty years
Same❤
I used to always wonder why people would go to a building and give money to a person to talk to them about a book they could easily read themselves, especially when that person only talks about maybe half of the book.
My wife and I are about to stop going to church(institutional church). We are just going with the flow.
As the bible says, where there are two or more gathered in his name there he is...
chamilton1509 that's true

When you go to outreach, what do you do if you reach someone? Do you personally disciple every person you win?
I don't object to this only if you gather with other Christians as we are commanded to. Hebrews 10:25.
Yes I would love to have home based bible studies.
He stood up to read,
If it was the custom of Jesus whom you claim to follow to go to church every Sabbath, why do you think you can outgrow going to church?

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
The pentecostals asked us to leave after I challenged doctrine .
It's a social club with mediocre preaching and money just paid to staff
Please anyone guide me
I was a roman catholic and now i am not going to any church and not baptised (imersed) and don't know what to do
Very profound.
"Why is church attendance / going to church important?"
Answer: The Bible tells us we need to attend church so we can worship God with other believers and be taught His Word for our spiritual growth.
That is without wrinkle or spot.
i must have a good pastor and a wonderful family of God. i don't care what goes on, i go to church because i love Him, Jesus!
If you love Him, use His Words, not man's. You are the Church, not the building. You cannot go to Church.
Acts 7:48 KJV
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
when you go to church (building) you interact with other people and your our duty make disciples inside of that building and help those that just arrived or those you are lost.
as many people inside of the building and many are lost
i have been going to church since a child, I am 56 years old. i love the Word of God and the altars of God. Seeing lives delivered and transformed be God's glory! RICH😂😆
What the heck is an alter of God?
I have not gone to church for many years a day I am loving my LORD JESUS . When I speak to church goers about certain truths of the Bible they are confused . I beg people to read the WORD every day and live by it! Thanks for your video.GOD BLESS YOU AND FAMILY.
I believe in God I use to go to church I was a Catholic, Pentecostal, the last thing I did was take Jehovah witness class no churches change my life I believe that to keep in contact with God you don't need to go to church, just pray to him, churches will not save you.
alaska Madelin123 jehovah witness is a cult. That is NOT of God.

COUNT ME IN .... NOT GOING TO CHURCH.. AND AGREE WITH WHAT YOU ARE SAYING...
🙌same here
Hi, I believe that you have a lot of great insights, but I do have a question.
Have u tried the Churches of Christ?
Look at the "just serve" website
No more institutions for me I’m free .
i stopped going six years ago but i still believe in God the institution called a church is manmade not of God
Don't go, what can we do. You want to lose your path, lose your in the faith in Christ.
The church IS THE PEOPLE! Not the building.
We just stumbled onto this! Love it!!! Yes, and thank you!
Spiritual, yes. Christian. Yes. The business of institutional church/western christianity. No.
going to an institutional church for so long has made me bored to death with even reading my bible anymore, I don't really listen to worship music anymore, because I've heard it all a million times. Its useless to consume regurgitated information.
YOU ARE RIGHT
I also no longer go to church.
Someone enlighten me.
yikes!!!
hi.. i am from Indonesia.. can you share what book do you read ? i have read pagan christian by george barna..
