In Spain the debate is Spain 3 - England 0 or Spain 4 - England 1

The "favorite" does not always win in tournament football. For instance, Brazil was tipped to win the World Cup final in 1998 however they lost 3-nil to France. Indeed, prior to that, France had NEVER won a World Cup.
Spain is in much better form than England in this competition. And on that basis alone one would predict Spain will win this Sunday. But form is not perfectly correlated to the eventual outcome in a one-off clash to the death - because there are so many other variables both on and off the pitch which will factor-in.
I really do hope for the sake of the beautiful game that England shows up hungry AND some of their talented individuals (whether starters or subs) shine at key moments. If that happens, then we are surely in for a treat 🙂
    Now come on England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⚽ 🇬🇧

Spain has the edge and more overall quality as a team. Anything can happen but logic goes with Spain.

If you're talking for the sake of the beautiful game, your pick should be for spain to win it, though.

I was nervous until the yank who said France would smack Spain 2-0 also predicts England 2-1.

If England replicate first half against the dutch and keep the spanish out for first 40 mins. England will grow into the game comes down to taking chances, it will be a differcult game. Using the subs earlier will be critical to winning if close

0:43 Disappointing to be hearing this notion everywhere that blocking balls is a penalty in football now. Dumfries didn't block the ball. VAR clearly shows that he went for Kane's foot without touching the ball and that he didn't just miss the ball.
In my opinion, the crucial thing that a lot people are missing is that this prevents the follow through on the strike. In other words, the inward movement of the foot immediately after striking the ball, which adjusts the direction of the ball toward the net, is prevented by the defender without the defender touching the ball. Dumfries intentionally does this, which VAR makes clear. That is why a penalty is given.
I think a lot of people assume that what Dumfries did is just normal defending because referees don't punish it a lot of the time, but it isn't.

This will be an historic win by a team that's destined to win a couple of Word Cups by the time they actually ripen in 4 to 6 years.
I just hope they don't pull up the handbrakes as they have every time they've gone a goal in front.
Make it a win by 3 or 4 this time.

It's such a myth how good Declan Rice is for England. 95% of all his games are just easy easy passes. We don't realise how much he brings DOWN this team. People who think he's great won't even listen to anything bad.
And he gave away the first Dutch goal. He's like the opposite of N'golo Kante. Instead of thinking he's so great we should get a player in there who's prepared and able to fight properly, not just trot around like a dressage horse.
