2 dinner plates, 1 bowl and 1 salad plate(rest were shattered)
A $50 christmas flower arrangement from micheals(slightly broke but it looks great on my front porch!)
A can of ravioli!
Hubby says il getting to be a hoarder, but I can't stop finding awesome stuff that can be saved from landfills!

This was the best choice for the camera since you couldn't open the dumpster fully. Frugal daddy did something simular at the other Aldi when he went dumpster diving at night. But when you are both there at the same time it will be nice to hear you and see all. My goodness was there anything left in the store?! Like they dumped everything in there. I think the food kitchen or where you're gonna donate too will love all these waffles. Stay frugal and keep dancing! 💃💃 😉 hugs from the Netherlands 💕

The steady dash cam is good because it allows you 2 free hands to grab faster & go. Now, if you had some stacking plastic laundry baskets with you, grab those toss all the finds in them and you are in & out in no time! Happy Hauling!

Good grief! Wow! That was a lot!! Now, you always make me laugh, now it's my turn to make you laugh. Friday I made a rich fruit cake for my boyfriend to take to the army for tea break. It was a trial one for making my Christmas cake. Everyone liked it, but said there was something different with it, and nobody could work out what, including me?? So, tonight I made the Christmas cake, using same recipe. I added the cinnamon and mixed spice, then I grab the ground ginger....except is was garlic powder....now we know why the cake was 'unusual '....🤪

Loved that you did not speak during this haul because they could come out and it takes up time. Love the victory dance instead, but make those quick when u r this close to their door. Do the dances when u know have time.
Great haul...freeze the nuts so they don't go bad. Remember to back in next time...faster get away and the trunk area is open...tilt the dumpster lid back so you don't hold it open...ijs..

Ha ha I thought it was hilarious. Felt like I was sitting in the car while you were diving. I think a mix of both would be f8ne. I also think when you are diving alone it might be good idea to have hands free. Also might consider a harness for the camera. Would be safer too. Great haul!

I liked the video from the car. That gives you the opportunity to focus on getting the stuff and getting out. We can always see what you got at the end when you show us. Main thing imo is that you're able to hurry lol

I'd prefer to see in the dumpster and listen to your comments. I wish I lived near you. I live on a fixed small income and the protein bars are nice for when food is low and I can't afford more. They lock most of the dumpsters around me.

What a score!!! I honestly prefer it this way but I also enjoy it the other way. I like being in the dumpster with you but it can be redundant seeing while pulling it out and the seeing the haul. The surprise of the haul today was amazing! Just do what you like to do best! Thank for sharing!

I like it both ways for the camera. You can't please everyone, soooooooo, change it up once in awhile. It looks like it was way easier for you to have both hands free especially for the lids. Oh, and WOW, that was a huge snack haul! YEHAW!

Yes it was for me too !!! I would have pared the car where the old dumpster was with the trunk open. Back up fast if anyone came out so they could not see your license plate. GREAT JOB done.

I prefer camera looking into the bin, but do what works for you. That was an *EPIC* haul!! I still see no rhyme or reason why stores throw away what they do. I’m happy that people like you are able to recover it, but it makes no sense.

Love the dumpster dance Amy, I am stealing it for when I am finished mopping and vacuuming the floor, I hate doing it but knowing I can step outside and do the dance makes it a little more fun, I live in the country and my six foot tall husband and 8 pound dog bring more crap on their shoes, I’m dragging the tools out constantly and my husband says aren’t you glad the nearest neighbors are a mile away when you are out there dancing, I said I don’t care if they lived next door, if you want clean floors I’m dancing. (He laughed and told me I watch too much UA-cam)

"The long winter" was my favorite Little house story. I actually read the book as an adult and down loaded on my tablet.👍also when I have those nut bars close to expiration I freeze them to prolong life or put in a container of the back porch during winter. They should be good for a few months past expiration.

It’s more fun, like you are there helping to discover. It feels more authentic. Not a fan of the music. Need one of those things you strap to your forehead; hands free, first person narrative.
I also prefer the narrative but it makes it difficult to pull the items out of the dumpster and hold the phone at the same time. Frugal Mommy needs one of those phone stands that can grip the side of the dumpster, so she can be hands free!

That, was remarkable! Do you think they were having a massive storewide clean out and that maybe the dumpster was positioned off the loading dock so people could bring their clean out stuff strait to the dumpster bypassing the great outdoors. Because in my mind is either this, or they realize someone is diving and they are trying to catch you/scare you. I thought, "great how much fun is this going to be?" when we realized we were going silent. Well, lots and lots of fun!!! Will your talents never end? 💓💛💚💙💜🌈
Maryclaire Kalamafoni I thought the same. Maybe they were clearing out. When I went shopping at Aldi on Thursday the eggs were only .49 cents a dozen and many, many things were reduced. So I was thinking hey need to move the merchandise faster yo keep up with deliveries. Most things were well stocked, but there were odd little pockets of bareness.

Camera veiw from the car was awesome. I'm sure depends on each individual dumpster and what not. You can always dub over or just wear a mike for a play by play, but with your hands free of camera, you were able to search and conquer more efficiently and safely. Imagine you and "Fraddy" ( frugal+daddy har😂 har get it? Lol) hands free, in tandem 😎

I like to hear you talk but I like it when you change it up every once in a while. I got a lot of enjoyment watching this video and wouldn't mind if you did it again from time to time when the need arises. Poems for God i would suggest getting a holder for the back of the car if you have a hatchback. Then back the car up so you can throw everything in the back. 👍🏼
Amy i watch alot of people on youtube. I think it was yesterday you found some reusable bags. Throw 5 or 6 of those in the car then that way like today no boxes you will still have bags with you to fill and carry. Great haul today. Thank you for sharing.
