They seem to spend more money on landscaping than the quality of the road surface on the 429. That's odd, since not only is it fairly new, but a TOLL ROAD to boot!!
You're right. The road is worn and there is a lot of construction going on along sr-429. The trucks are tearing up the road. They're probably reluctant to resurface this right away as it won't last very long.

when entering from Mt. Dora , there is no starting toll booth. so it automatically takes a picture of your plate and sends you a ticket for double price. The only way to prevent this is to buy an E pass. Even if you pay that ticket right away. You may still have a hard time renewing your lic.getting a title, registration, voter rights.I made many calls to try and solve this , especially after the 3rd time. Now I never go near Orlando at all. The Democrat corruption is overwhelming. If you are in a rental the ticket price is outrageous
